Abstract

The recovery of the national economy after the COVID-19 pandemic is inseparable from the important role of MSMEs as a pillar of economic support. Its existence contributes to the gross domestic product by 61.97%. This phenomenon significantly affects the MSME business and triggers each business actor in this field to continue to develop their business, including Batik Kembang Turi Sidoarjo, which is one of the business actors that raises the potential of Batik as one of the local wisdom in Sidoarjo. This study was conducted to determine the description of business model innovation in Batik Kembang Turi Sidoarjo in facing the pandemic crisis. This research uses a qualitative approach to analyze information and obtain factual findings to understand these conditions through information on Business Model Innovation in MSMEs. The results show that BMI changes in Batik Kembang Turi Sidoarjo which refer to the Concept of BMI Conceptual Model Magnitude are in Quadrant Type 4 where high novelty and high complexity of changes in the elements of the business model. Changes in services where Batik Kembang Turi began to change their services to the tourism sector arose due to changes in consumer segments and value propositions radically changing the infrastructure system due to the extreme impact of the pandemic on their business and environment.

Abstract

Program "Generasi Hijau" merupakan upaya inovatif mahasiswa dalam kegiatan KKN-Tematik yang bertujuan untuk menanamkan kesadaran lingkungan dan mendorong perilaku ramah lingkungan pada siswa SDN Sidoklumpuk. Melalui program ini mahasiswa KKN-Tematik memberikan edukasi mengenai dampak negatif sampah anorganik, khususnya sampah plastik, terhadap lingkungan. Kegiatan ini meliputi penyuluhan, demonstrasi daur ulang sederhana, dan pembuatan produk daur ulang. Dengan menggabungkan metode sosialisasi, praktik langsung, dan evaluasi berbasis data, program ini berhasil meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa tentang dampak negatif sampah plastik dan mendorong perubahan perilaku menuju gaya hidup yang lebih ramah lingkungan. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pengetahuan siswa tentang pentingnya pengelolaan sampah dan minat mereka untuk berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan daur ulang. Program ini membuktikan bahwa pendidikan lingkungan sejak dini dapat membentuk karakter peduli lingkungan pada generasi muda.

Abstract

Along with the increasing global population and the rising prevalence of diseases, the demand for healthcare professionals continues to grow. A shortage of healthcare workers, limited healthcare budgets, as well as issues related to quality and safety have led to the need for initiatives to redesign the healthcare workforce. The purpose of this study is to examine how workload and emotional exhaustion affect employee performance among staff at the Utama Community Health Center in Semanding District. This study also investigates the mediating role of organizational commitment. The research employs the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method, which has the capability to examine relationships between variables. The sampling technique used is a saturated sample, consisting of 73 respondents. The results of this study indicate that workload has a negative and significant effect on employee performance; emotional exhaustion also has a negative and significant effect on employee performance; workload has a negative and significant effect on employee performance through the mediating role of organizational commitment; and emotional exhaustion has a negative and significant effect on employee performance through the mediating role of organizational commitment among staff at the Utama Community Health Center in Semanding District.
