Abstract

Indonesia has a wealth of tropical biological resources, an abundance of sunlight, water and soil, as well as a culture of people who respect nature. This is what makes Indonesia has great potential for organic farming. The demand for organic rice in Indonesia continues to increase every year. In 2001 organic rice production was 1,180 tons, while in 2004 organic rice production increased to 11,000 tons. In 2005 Indonesia's organic rice market reached 28 billion rupiah with a growth of around 22 percent per year. Organic farming systems are increasingly popular lately due to the failure of inorganic farming systems in maintaining land and environmental sustainability in the long term. This is because in its application, the agricultural system is very dependent on the use of chemical substances such as urea, TSP, ZA, pesticides and so on so that in the long run it will have an impact on damage to agricultural land which will ultimately reduce productivity. Karang Sari Village, one of the villages in Belitang III District, OKU Timur Regency, where the majority of the population has a livelihood as lowland rice farmers, seeks organic rice cultivation without using chemical fertilizers or pesticides, but most farmers still grow rice conventionally (inorganic).

Abstract

The digital era has brought various innovations in all aspects of life, including in the world of education. The integration of technology in the learning system in madrasah is a necessity that cannot be ignored to prepare students to face future challenges. This paper explores how madrasahs can implement technology in the teaching and learning process, ranging from the use of hardware and software, online learning platforms, to educational applications. The research method used is literature review. The results show the importance of technology integration in learning in madrasahs to improve the quality of education and prepare students adequately for the digital era. Despite the challenges, collaboration among education stakeholders is considered crucial in ensuring a successful transition to a technology-based learning system, which in turn will shape a more innovative, interactive learning environment that supports students' overall development.

Abstract

Improving the village economy through socialisation and mentoring of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) is a strategic approach that has proven to be effective and sustainable. Hence, the importance of socialisation as a tool to provide an in-depth understanding of entrepreneurship to village communities. Through this comprehensive education, local communities can understand the benefits and techniques of starting and growing a business, which in turn, can improve their standard of living. More than just providing basic knowledge, socialisation fosters passion and confidence, which are often barriers to starting a business. Village MSME mentoring offers ongoing support in various aspects of business such as technical operations, management, marketing, and access to resources. With the right mentoring, village MSMEs can utilise technology, improve product quality, and implement effective marketing strategies. Mentors also assist in long-term business strategy planning, financial management, as well as building a wider market network including e-commerce. All of these contribute to improving the competitiveness of village MSMEs at the local, regional and national levels. In conclusion, socialisation and mentoring of MSMEs is a very effective instrument to drive the village economy. Proper education and ongoing support allow village MSMEs to thrive, thereby contributing significantly to the local economy. This not only improves individual welfare but also strengthens the village economy as a whole, making it more independent and resilient in the face of economic challenges. Investing in MSME socialisation and mentoring is a strategic move with positive long-term impacts, creating more prosperous and highly competitive villages.
