Abstract

Tarian tradisional merupakan bagian integral dari kebudayaan suatu masyarakat, diwariskan secara turun-temurun dan mencerminkan nilai-nilai serta identitas budaya yang kuat. Artikel ini membahas dampak zaman modern terhadap praktik tarian tradisional di Indonesia, dengan memperhatikan perubahan gaya hidup, teknologi, globalisasi, dan perbedaan generasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi literatur dengan pendekatan kualitatif, mengumpulkan dan menganalisis data dari berbagai sumber relevan. Tujuannya adalah untuk mengidentifikasi pergeseran apresiasi pada tari tradisional sebagai akibat dari kemajuan zaman modern, dengan harapan memberikan wawasan yang lebih dalam serta kontribusi yang signifikan dalam pelestarian warisan budaya terutama tari tradisional.

Abstract

The Qur'an as the final revelation revealed by Allah SWT has a very central role in shaping the teachings and lives of Muslims. One of the most important aspects of the teachings of the Qur'an is the unity of the people, which can be a foundation in maintaining harmony and solidarity amidst existing differences. The virtues contained in the Qur'an, such as teachings on justice, tolerance, brotherhood, and compassion, provide clear direction for Muslims to unite and work together for the common good. However, amid the diversity of schools of thought, ethnicities, and thoughts in Muslims, it is important to re-explore the basic principles of the Qur'an that can strengthen relations between fellow Muslims. This study aims to explore the virtues of the Qur'an that can be the foundation of teachings that unite Muslims. This study also seeks to understand how these values ​​are applied in the context of the social and cultural life of Muslims, both in the past and in the contemporary era. The method used in this study is a qualitative method, with a thematic interpretation approach to analyze the verses of the Qur'an related to the unity of the people, as well as a study of the hadith to explore the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad SAW regarding the unity of the Muslim community. In addition, this study also uses a historical and socio-cultural approach to understand the application of the teachings of the Qur'an in Muslim society from time to time. The results of the study show that the virtues of the Qur'an, such as teachings on brotherhood, justice, and tolerance, have a very important role in strengthening the unity of Muslims, even though there are differences in terms of schools of thought, culture, and views. The Qur'an provides clear guidelines that differences are not a reason to divide, but rather a blessing that enriches the diversity of Muslims. By exploring and applying the teachings of the Qur'an, Muslims are expected to be able to better maintain unity and harmony in facing the challenges of the increasingly plural and complex modern era.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of service quality provided by the Hajj Management Office in Pekanbaru on the satisfaction level of pilgrims. Service quality is a crucial factor in ensuring a satisfying Hajj experience, considering the complexity of the processes and services received by the pilgrims. Utilizing a quantitative approach, the research involved 100 respondents who are Hajj pilgrims from Pekanbaru. Data analysis was conducted through processing questionnaires that measured various dimensions of service quality, such as reliability, responsiveness, and empathy. The results indicate a significant positive relationship between service quality and pilgrim satisfaction. The dimensions of reliability and responsiveness had the most substantial impact on satisfaction, showing that pilgrims highly value timeliness and quick responses from the management office. The findings of this study are expected to provide insights for Hajj management in enhancing the quality of services offered. By paying attention to the aspects contributing to pilgrim satisfaction, it is hoped that the Hajj experience can be improved, leading to higher levels of satisfaction and greater value for the pilgrims’ spiritual journey.

Abstract

Hydroxyapatite (HAp) is a biomaterial containing calcium phosphate with the chemical formula which is similar to the structure of human bone, so it is good for the purpose of healing human bones and teeth. HAp synthesis has several methods that can affect the results of HAp synthesis, such as the method of mixing CaO with phosphate, namely mixing with ultrasonic machines and magnetic stirrers. However, the discussion about the difference of HAp results with the mixing method of ultrasonic machine and magnetic stirrer is still rarely done. Therefore, it is important to examine and compare the characteristics of HAp synthesized by ultrasonic and magnetic stirrer mixing. The result of XRD test shows that HA1 has a purity of weight percentage (wt.%) of HAp crystal of 99.8%, while HA2 has a weight percentage (wt.%) of HAp crystal of 97.7%. For the FTIR test results of both specimens detected the presence of phosphate groups, and hydoxide, where both are the basic form of hydroxyapatite. Carbonate groups were also detected in the test, but it cannot be said to be bad because carbonate is a natural substitute for phosphate.

Abstract

The research of the effect of jigsaw strategy in teaching reading of recount text has been done at MAN 5 Bireuen. It was begun from March 9 2021 until March 12 2021. The problems of this research are; does the jigsaw strategy provide a better effect to students reading Score? And to what extent does the jigsaw strategy provide the significance effect to the students reading score. Based on the research problems, there are two purposes of the research, namely; to find out the jigsaw strategy to provide a better effect students reading score and to find out extent the jigsaw strategy provides the significance effect to the students reading score. The scope of this research focused on investigating the use of Jigsaw strategy in the increase of students’ reading score. This research is designed as an experimental research with test consisted of pre-test and post-test as the sole instrument, the data is then analyzed using the formula introduced by Winarsunu to find the mean score and using the paired T-score statistical formula to find the t-value in order to prove the hypotheses. The results of the research on the effect of jigsaw strategy in teaching reading of recount text on 1st grade students of MAN 5 Bireuen showed that there was an increase in the mean score of students from 57,5 (pre-test) to 97,5 (post- test). The increase was also seen in the student category scores where previously they were at the sufficient category (pre-test), increased to the very high category (post-test). The hypothesis which states that there is a significant difference in students' ability in reading recount text before and after the jigsaw technique is applied (H1) is accepted. This can be seen from the t value (8,16) > t-table value (2,07), taking into account the significant level (α) 0.05 or confidence level 95%, the correlation coefficient value 0,26, and the standard deviation value of pre-test 21,37 and post-test 3,98.

Abstract

The title of this thesis is Using Extensive Reading to improve the students’ Ability in reading comprehension at MAN I Bireuen in academic year 2020/2021(A Collaborative Classroom Action Research). From the title above, the researcher found some problem from the students, the students had got less information, the students did not know the main ideas in paragraph, the students had difficulty to comprehend the text they read. So, the researcher put three problems of this research with the questions as follow: first, how can Extensive Reading improve the students’ ability in reading comprehension? Second, how do the students respond toward the implementation of extensive reading in improving students’ ability in reading comprehention. Three, how is the implementation of extensive reading in improving students ability in reading comprehension? Based on the research problems, the purpose of this research were: first, to know the improvement students’ ability in reading comprehension through Extensive Reading. Second, to find out the process of the implementation of Extensive Reading in reading comprehention. And the three, to know the students respond toward the implementation of Extensive Reading. This research was a collaborative classroom action research that was done in two cycles. The research was a collaborative classroom action research that was done in two cycles. The research sample of this research was 20 students. The data was collected through the field note, reading test, students’ observation checklist, the teacher’s observation checklist, and questionnaire. The data was analyzed through the descriptive qualitative research. The research was conducted into two cycles, the procedure of action research: planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The first cycle consisted of third meetings, and the second cycle consisted of two meetings. After the researcher was done all the steps of action research (cycle 1 and cycle 2) the students’ means increased from 53 in cycle 1 became 78 in cycle II. The finding of the research also showed that Extensive Reading can improve the students’ reading narrative text, it was showed from the result of students’ mastery reading test in each cycle which the action implemented.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis secara komprehensif konsep belajar dalam konteks pendidikan modern. Melalui tinjauan literatur yang ekstensif, studi ini mengeksplorasi berbagai teori belajar, faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi proses belajar, dan implikasinya terhadap praktik pendidikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsep belajar telah berkembang dari model behavioristik sederhana menjadi pendekatan yang lebih kompleks dan holistik, mencakup aspek kognitif, sosial, dan emosional. Studi ini juga mengidentifikasi peran penting teknologi, lingkungan belajar, dan perbedaan individual dalam membentuk pengalaman belajar yang efektif. Implikasi dari temuan ini dibahas dalam konteks pengembangan kurikulum, strategi pengajaran, dan kebijakan pendidikan.
