Abstract

The rapid advancement of technology has become integral to all aspects of modern life. This research examines the relationship between employee competency and the use of a digitalized GIS website for managing customer data, focusing on employees at PDAM Surabaya City. The study involved 100 participants and employed a quantitative descriptive approach, utilizing data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and surveys through questionnaires. Findings reveal that while employees generally believe their education and technological skills are well-suited to their job roles and support their performance, there are notable issues with the GIS website's reliability and error management. The high consensus on the need for improvements highlights the importance of ongoing maintenance and user support. Statistical analysis confirms that employee competencies significantly impact the effective use of the GIS website, underscoring the importance of skill development in optimizing digital tool utilization and enhancing organizational efficiency. The research implies that improving employee competencies and addressing technical issues with the GIS website are essential for enhancing its utilization and overall organizational performance.

Abstract

Pada zaman sekarang, generasi milenial adalah generasi yang mendominasi di dunia kerja. Sehinggaorganisasi perlu memahami terkait bagaimana pengelolaan sumber daya manusia di era kekinian untukgenerasi milenial. Diperlukan manajemen talenta yang merupakan pendekatan strategis dalam mengelolasumber daya manusia yang bertujuan untuk menarik, mengembangkan, dan mempertahankan pekerja yangmemiliki bakat dan kualitas yang tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi manajementalenta perusahaan untuk mempertahankan pekerja generasi milenial. Metode yang digunakan adalahmetode kualitatif dengan teknik wawancara dan studi literatur. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pekerjagenerasi milenial dengan besaran sampel sebanyak 4 orang. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwaterdapat strategi manajemen talenta yang telah diterapkan oleh perusahaan untuk mempertahankan pekerjagenerasi milenial. Hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan beberapa upaya perusahaan dalam mempertahankanpekerja generasi milenial yaitu dalam seleksi dan perekrutan, beberapa perusahaan menempatkan pekerjapada posisi yang tepat dan sesuai dengan kemampuan. Dalam pengembangan keterampilan pekerja,beberapa perusahaan memberikan pelatihan yang bermanfaat kepada pekerja. Selain itu pekerja jugamemiliki inisiatif secara mandiri untuk mencari informasi terkait pengembangan diri dalam menunjangkarir. Untuk memperoleh kepuasan pekerja, perusahaan telah memberikan lingkungan kerja yang baik, gajiyang sesuai, memberikan ekspektasi dan tujuan yang jelas dalam karir, job desc yang tidak overload, danmendorong pekerja untuk berpikiran inovatif serta mempromosikan ide-ide kreatifnya. Perusahaan jugamelibatkan pekerja dalam penyelesaian konflik dan pengambilan keputusan.

Abstract

Kesadaran konsumen terhadap keamanan produk merupakan faktor penting dalam membentuk perilaku belanja daring yang bijak dan bertanggung jawab. Mahasiswa tidak hanya berperan sebagai pengguna aktif e-commerce, tetapi juga sebagai agen perubahan yang diharapkan memiliki literasi digital serta kesadaran risiko yang baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis persepsi mahasiswa Manajemen Perkantoran Digital Universitas Airlangga terhadap risiko penggunaan skincare berbahaya yang dijual melalui Shopee. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif melalui wawancara mendalam untuk menggali secara lebih rinci pengalaman, pengetahuan, dan sikap mahasiswa terhadap keamanan produk skincare. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa seluruh responden merupakan pengguna aktif skincare dan sebagian besar lebih memilih berbelanja melalui Shopee karena kemudahan akses, harga yang terjangkau, dan promosi yang menarik. Mereka menyadari adanya risiko serius dari penggunaan skincare berbahaya, seperti iritasi, jerawat parah, kemerahan, kulit mengelupas, bahkan bekas yang sulit dihilangkan. Sumber informasi utama mengenai bahaya skincare diperoleh dari media sosial, teman sebaya, dan pengalaman pribadi. Mahasiswa yang memiliki pemahaman lebih baik tentang risiko cenderung melakukan langkah pencegahan, seperti memeriksa izin edar produk, membaca komposisi bahan, dan membeli dari toko resmi atau terpercaya. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya literasi digital dan edukasi berkelanjutan agar mahasiswa menjadi konsumen yang bijak, kritis, dan bertanggung jawab. Temuan ini juga menunjukkan perlunya regulasi, pengawasan, serta edukasi publik yang lebih ketat untuk menciptakan lingkungan belanja daring yang lebih aman dan sehat bagi masyarakat, khususnya generasi muda.

Abstract

Decision-making is crucial for both individuals and organizations because the quality of decisions made today will determine the direction and sustainability of the future. In educational and social contexts, sound decisions play a crucial role in realizing justice, equality, and progress at the institutional and societal levels. This article focuses on the analytical decision-making style demonstrated by Minke in the film Bumi Manusia (2019), examining the main character's thought processes and actions when facing complex situations. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method through film observation, by closely observing scenes, dialogues, and interactions between characters, then analyzing them based on analytical decision-making theory. The results reveal that Minke consistently demonstrates an analytical decision-making style in several key events, such as choosing an intellectual path through writing, supporting Nyai Ontosoroh's struggle, continuing his education despite facing discrimination, rejecting offers from colonial officials, and maintaining loyalty to Annelies. These decisions reflect a structured mindset, a long-term orientation, moral courage, and integrity grounded in humanitarian values. These findings suggest that an analytical style is an effective strategy in facing social and political challenges because it combines analytical acumen with a moral foundation. Thus, this research contributes to enriching insight into the dynamics of decision-making and opens up opportunities for further studies on other decision-making styles in the representation of film as a popular medium.
