Abstract

This qualitative descriptive research with a literature review design adopts the hypnoteaching method through the Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) approach as an innovative effort to enhance students' motivation in speaking the Arabic language. The study's research question is if the hypnoteaching approach based on Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) can boost students' motivation to speak Arabic. The study's findings suggest that the hypnoteaching method and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) are useful in educational growth, especially the Arabic language. The steps of hypnoteaching involve motivation, pacing, leading, positive words, praise, modeling, and teacher expertise. The application of NLP involves understanding students' characteristics, using outcomes, rapport, sensory acuity, and flexibility. Furthermore, the use of hypnoteaching through NLP in learning Arabic speaking can be an effort to enhance students' learning motivation, create more effective learning, overcome psychological barriers, and encourage students' motivation to actively develop Arabic speaking skills. Thus, this forms a strong foundation for the significant development of students' speaking skills.

Abstract

The lack of prior knowledge among the students and the tedious lecture-based teaching techniques provide difficulties for Arabic reading education at MTs Shirothul Fuqoha' Malang. In order to improve maharah qira'ah through an interactive method, comic-based educational resources were created using Canva. The objectives of this study were to describe the creative process, ascertain viability, and evaluate efficacy. The study included 53 eighth-grade students who were split into two groups: experimental (25) and control (28) participants. Observation, interviews, surveys, and tests were used to gather data, which SPSS 25 was then used to evaluate for validity, reliability, normalcy, and T-tests. The requirements analysis was the first of 10 steps in the media development process. The instructional medium received a good rating of 96%, while the content and language received an 86% rating from expert validation. The final media was created following experiments and adjustments. According to the findings, the experimental group's post-test score (83.33) was 11.73 points higher on average than the control group's (71.60). With a significant value of 0.000, the Independent Sample T-Test verified the effectiveness of the media in improving maharah qira'ah at MTs Shirothul Fuqoha' Malang.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the potential for using TikTok as a digital media in Arabic language learning, focusing on identifying the utilization of TikTok in Arabic language learning. This research was conducted in response to the increasing use of technology using digital media in education, especially using TikTok as media in Arabic language learning. The research method used is a literature study with a desk research approach, namely exploring data from empirical and relevant research. The research results show that TikTok is one of the social media platforms that can potentially be utilized for learning. TikTok, which is audio-visual based, is seen as attractive by students. In addition, many features can be used to increase students' creativity. As a learning media, TikTok also can make it easier for educators to deliver learning materials effectively. The characteristics of TikTok are also easy to use and are close to students' personalities because they are used in their daily lives. The utilization of TikTok in Arabic language learning can be applied to improve the four Arabic language skills by utilizing the available features. For example, in learning listening (istima') skills using the For Your Page (FYP) feature or the Hashtag feature to search for Arabic content, in speaking skills (kalam) through the voice recording feature, reading skills (qira'ah) through the duet feature, writing skills (kitabah) using the edit and write features.
