Abstract

In 1945, Indonesia proclaimed its independence from colonial rule. In the following decades the Indonesian nation has experienced significant changes, especially in the government system. This article discusses the analysis of elections in Indonesia, which are influenced by the development of a democratic government system. The method used is normative juridical, where legal research is carried out by examining library materials or secondary data. This research uses a literature study as a data collection method. The research concludes that the implementation of a democratic system cannot be separated from the implementation of constitutional democracy. Democracy is chosen over other systems because it is considered the best. Making people aware of their rights and obligations, and democracy must be fully carried out by "Policy Makers" as the power to regulate and/or run the government in accordance with the law.

Abstract

Pertahanan nasional adalah landasan utama dalam menjaga kedaulatan, keamanan, dan stabilitas negara. Semangat bela negara di Indonesia menjadi fundamental dalam memperkuat pertahanan nasional, terutama dengan tantangan global yang semakin kompleks. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi pemahaman siswa SMA Negeri 34 Jakarta tentang konsep bela negara, menganalisis keterlibatan mereka dalam organisasi kepemudaan dan kegiatan sosial, serta mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi sikap dan perilaku mereka dalam membangun semangat bela negara. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan survei terhadap siswa SMA Negeri 34 Jakarta sebagai metode pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep bela negara berada pada tingkat yang cukup baik, namun partisipasi mereka dalam kegiatan yang terkait dengan pertahanan nasional masih perlu ditingkatkan. Keterlibatan dalam organisasi kepemudaan dan kegiatan sosial berperan signifikan dalam menumbuhkan nilai-nilai patriotisme dan kebangsaan. Faktor-faktor seperti pendidikan, keluarga, dan media massa mempengaruhi pembentukan sikap dan perilaku siswa terhadap bela negara. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan perlunya strategi pendidikan dan program yang lebih inklusif untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan peran serta siswa dalam memperkuat pertahanan nasional.

Abstract

This article discusses the Actualization of Culture in the Implementation of the Independent Curriculum at Senior High School 3 Cibinong which focuses on implementing the Independent Curriculum, as well as involving culture in the curriculum. Central government policy in increasing the role of culture in the education system, especially in the West Java region. This research uses qualitative data with data collection techniques in this research using interviews and literature studies. The researchers collected data through primary and secondary data sources, namely: Interviews conducted with those in the curriculum, guidance and counseling (BK), teaching teachers and student representatives from each generation at SMA Negeri 3 Cibinong. Data was obtained by searching and reviewing various information by reading journals, books and various other literary sources. The aim of this research is to find out how this government policy is implemented in achieving the goals of freedom to learn and freedom of culture. The Merdeka Curriculum is interpreted as a learning design that provides students with the opportunity to study calmly, relaxed, fun, stress-free and pressure-free to show their natural talents. The cultural implementation of the Independent Curriculum can be applied to local content based on regional characteristics and local wisdom. Cultural implementation can be obtained in terms of student learning at school, for example regional specialties, traditional dances and drama from Sunda, West Java.

Abstract

Abstrak: Kenakalan remaja merupakan permasalahan yang berpotensi menghambat pembentukan karakter generasi muda, khususnya di lingkungan sekolah menengah pertama. Salah satu upaya strategis untuk mencegah perilaku menyimpang adalah melalui penanaman nilai bela negara sejak dini. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan sikap siswa terhadap nilai bela negara sebagai dasar pencegahan kenakalan remaja. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada siswa SMP Arroyan dengan jumlah peserta sebanyak 120 orang. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi edukasi, diskusi interaktif, dan pembiasaan perilaku positif yang disesuaikan dengan karakteristik usia siswa. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pre-test dan post-test dengan indikator pemahaman bela negara, kepatuhan terhadap aturan, perilaku positif, serta pemahaman tentang kenakalan remaja. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman siswa yang signifikan, dari rata-rata 60% sebelum kegiatan menjadi 89% setelah kegiatan, atau meningkat sekitar 29%. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa program gerakan anti kenakalan remaja berbasis nilai bela negara efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman dan membentuk sikap positif siswa. Oleh karena itu, program serupa perlu dilaksanakan secara berkelanjutan sebagai bagian dari pembinaan karakter di tingkat sekolah menengah pertama.Abstract: Juvenile delinquency is a problem that has the potential to hinder the character development of the younger generation, particularly in junior high schools. One strategy to prevent deviant behavior is through instilling the values of national defense from an early age. This activity aims to improve students' understanding and attitudes towards national defense values as a basis for preventing juvenile delinquency. The activity was carried out with 120 students from Arroyan Junior High School. The implementation method included education, interactive discussions, and positive behavioral habits tailored to the students' age characteristics. Evaluation was conducted through pre- and post-tests with indicators of understanding of national defense, compliance with regulations, positive behavior, and understanding of juvenile delinquency. The evaluation results showed a significant increase in student understanding, from an average of 60% before the activity to 89% after the activity, an increase of approximately 29%. These findings indicate that the anti-juvenile delinquency movement program based on national defense values is effective in improving students' understanding and shaping positive attitudes. Therefore, similar programs need to be implemented continuously as part of character training at the junior high school level.
