Abstract

SD Negeri Trasan 4 merupakan sekolah yang berlokasi di Dusun Medono, Desa Trasan, Kecamatan Bandongan, Kabupaten Magelang. Beberapa permasalahan yang ada di SDN Trasan 4 ini yaitu dana sekolah yang terbatas, jumlah siswa sedikit, sarana dan prasarana yang kurang memadai, dan minat baca siswa yang masih rendah. Kondisi tersebut belum memadai untuk mendukung terlaksananya pembelajaran yang optimal. Siswa juga belum memanfaatkan fasilitas sekolah untuk mendukung pembelajaran terutama untuk mendukung minat baca siswa. Selain itu, kurangnya sarana dan prasarana seperti perpustakaan, koleksi buku, dan ruang baca yang belum tersedia juga membuat siswa cenderung tidak berminat untuk membaca yang menyebabkan literasi siswa menjadi rendah. Guna meningkatkan minat baca siswa, maka akan dilakukan kegiatan Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat Terpadu (PPMT) dengan menggunakan metode pendekatan partisipatif yang difokuskan pada penerapan program Gerakan Literasi Sekolah melalui pembiasaan, pengembangan, dan pembelajaran. Hasil dari kegiatan GLS (Gerakan Literasi Siswa) pada literasi pagi di SDN Trasan 4 ini yaitu semakin tingginya minat baca siswa dan untuk beberapa siswa yang masih kurang dalam mengenal huruf mereka menjadi lebih lancar dalam membaca.

Abstract

The problem of second grade students at SD Negeri 2 Soropadan is the lack of studentlearning activity. The purpose of this study was to increase student activity using thecooperative script learning model. The research method used is Classroom Action Researchwhich is divided into two cycles, each cycle consisting of four stages of activity, namely thestages of planning, action, observation, and subject reflection with research as many as tenclass II SD Negeri 2 Soropadan, Pringsurat, Temanggung. . In cycle one, the data obtainedby the average score of students as a whole is 76 (76%) which has exceeded the KKM, whichis 74 with six students who have completed and four students have not completed. In cycletwo there was an increase in the average total score of 7.5 to 83.5 (83.5%) with ninestudents who completed and one student who did not finish. So, it can be said that thecooperative learning model can increase student activity in participating in the learningprocess in class II SDN 2 Soropadan, Pringsurat, Temanggung.

Abstract

This writing aims to improve the ability of students' interest in reading in elementaryschools through the learning model. Reading is one of the important things in all kinds oflearning process. Efforts to increase the reading interest of elementary school students area shared responsibility, between the students themselves, teachers and parents. The lowinterest in reading students in elementary schools is one of the obstacles, the lack of desireand willingness of the students themselves, the teacher also does not require students toread books when learning is taught to students. The results showed that with Picture andPicture learning activities became more interesting and students thought to furtherincrease their interest in reading. From the results of the analysis, it can increase thereading interest of elementary school students
