Abstract

This research aims to determine the impact of online games on the learning motivation of students in the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) Study Program at the Mataram State Islamic University (UIN Mataram). The method used is a quantitative method with a positivism approach, which involves numerical data and analysis of phenomena that occur. This type of research is ex post facto, which is carried out empirically and systematically. This research was conducted on third semester students class of 2021 at the PAI UIN Mataram Study Program who played online games. Data was collected using a Likert scale questionnaire to measure the influence of online games on learning motivation, as well as through observation and interviews. The initial hypothesis of the research states that there is a significant influence of online games on the learning motivation of third semester students at the PAI UIN Mataram Study Program. This research is a population study, and data analysis was carried out using parametric statistical tests from inferential statistics, using simple linear regression to test hypotheses. The results of the regression equation Y = 102,223 + (-0.35)X show that when variable X (online games) has a value of 0, variable Y (learning motivation) has a value of 102,223. A negative coefficient of -0.35 indicates that every 1% increase in variable X will reduce variable Y by 0.35. This means that the more often students play online games, the more their learning motivation decreases. A significance value of 0.000, which is smaller than 0.05, indicates that the alternative hypothesis is accepted, which means that there is a significant influence of online games on the learning motivation of third semester students at the PAI UIN Mataram Study Program. The correlation value (R) of 0.556 and R Square of 0.31 shows that online games have a 31% influence on learning motivation, while 69% is influenced by other factors.

Abstract

This article describes the development of slow learner students, especially for an educator to be able to adjust effective learning strategies in achieving optimal learning goals. The research approach used in formulating the objectives is qualitative using the literature study method. The mechanism of collecting data from various sources of literature that can be accounted for, such as books, articles, similar research, skrispi, thesis, and other official websites. The findings that researchers found from the various data collected are then described as follows: 1. Recognizing the development of slow learner students is an important aspect that must be mastered by an educator to ensure inclusive teaching. 2. Slow learner students have unique characteristics that are influenced by biological, environmental, and psychological factors. 3. Effective learning includes differentiation, repetition of material, and adjustment of evaluation as needed. 4. Good collaboration between teachers, parents and schools is needed to create a supportive learning environment, both academically and social-emotionally, so that the learning potential of slow learner students can develop to the fullest.

Abstract

This research reviews the concept of evaluation implementation as a solution to address student learning issues The integrated methods in this study include literature review, and then data collection through gathering and analyzing various relevant literature such as articles, books, and related materials The data is analyzed using qualitative descriptive techniques, and the results are interpreted scientifically and rationally The findings of this research indicate that evaluation is an integral part of the learning process, providing a positive impact in addressing student learning issues and improv the quality of the process learning and outcomes with enhancement Continuous evaluation is carried out by identifying the characteristics of learning problems comprehensively, from the aspects and components of learning, namely students, educators, resources, and learning environments Evaluation can be used as a reflection of learning, which can then serve as a guide for educators in taking action towards teaching processes by considering the suitability and success of a learning experience
