Abstract

Sertifikasi Ahli Muda Teknik Bangunan Gedung merupakan salah satu persyaratan bagi tenaga ahli yang akan melaksanakan proyek-proyek dibidang bangunan gedung. Adapun peserta yang mengikuti sertifikasi ini adalah 30 tenaga ahli dibidang Arsitektur dan Teknik Sipil dengan pengalaman minimal 1 tahun dibidangya. Pelaksanaan kegiatan Sertifikasi Ahli Muda Teknik Bangunan Gedung ini dilaksanakan selama satu hari pada tanggal 11 November 2023 di Hotel Maxone Palembang. Sebelum dilaksanakan ujian sertifikasi, para peserta akan diberikan pembekalan terlebih dahulu tentang tata cara perencanaan dan pelaksanaan Bangunan Gedung. Para peserta juga mendapatkan materi hardcopy yang telah disiapkan narasumber. Setelah pembekalan selesai, para peserta akan diuji satu persatu mengenai pemahaman mereka tentang tata cara perencanaan dan pelaksanaan bangunan gedung. Jika peserta tersebut memahami tata cara perencanaan dan pelaksanaan bangunan Gedung, maka peserta tersebut dinyatakan kompeten dan layak mendapatkan Sertifikat Ahli Muda Teknik Bangunan Gedung. Sertifikat Ahli Muda Bangunan Gedung ini dapat mereka gunakan untuk melaksakan proyek-proyek dibidang bangunan gedung. Baik sebagai perencana maupun pelaksana proyek bangunan gedung. Berdasarkan hasil ujian sertifikasi, sebanyak 30 peserta dinyatakan lulus dan kompeten sebagai Ahli Muda Teknik Bangunan Gedung.

Abstract

Bullying menjadi sebuah isu yang mendalam dan rumit beberapa tahun terakhir. Dari kasus yang sudah terjadi sebelumnya dapat dilihat bahwa mereka yang menjadi korban dari pelaku bully  berisiko mengalami berbagai masalah mental dan fisik seperti merasa tidak aman, apabila berada di linkungan sekolah, prestasi akademik menurun dan lain sebagainya. Tidak hanya itu,  juga bisa ditemui melalui media sosial yang disebut dengan cyber. Dari sudut pandang yang berbeda jika dilihat dari pelaku bully juga mempunyai beberapa masalah di kehidupan mereka seperti masalah emosional, masalah sosial, kurangnya pemahaman dan empati, dan memiliki masalah dalam keluarga yang mungkin tidak banyak orang ketahui sehingga melampiaskan hal tersebut ke orang lain. Oleh karena itu, dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini pentingnya memberikan pemahaman  dan dampak risikonya bagi korban dan pelaku  melalui sosialisasi penyuluhan. Kegiatan pengabdian Sosialisasi penyuluhan ini dilaksanakan selama enam hari dalam dua minggu, dimulai pada tanggal 16 Oktober 2023 s/d 25 Oktober 2023 di SMK Negeri 1 Pemulutan. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan yaitu menggunakan metode ceramah, diskusi dan tanya jawab, dari hasil pelaksanaan dinilai efektif dilihat dari mereka yang memahami dengan baik, aktif dalam berdiskusi dan tanya jawab, serta kontra terhadap perilaku.

Abstract

A laboratory is a place equipped with equipment to carry out tests or experiments. This research aims to create an application for borrowing tools in the civil engineering laboratory at Bina Darma University so that the laboratory data processing system becomes more effective and efficient. This application was designed using UML (Unified Modeling Language) modeling, MySQL, PHP programming language with waterfall model. The result of this research is a laboratory management application which consists of recording, borrowing and returning laboratory equipment. Application testing uses black-box testing techniques.

Abstract

Ketika menggunakan beton bertulang dalam desain struktur, penting untuk memperhatikan kekuatan tekannya serta plastisitas dan deformasinya. Untuk meningkatkan kekuatan lentur dan daktilitasnya, bahan dengan kekuatan tarik tinggi ditambahkan. Salah satu contohnya adalah polimer serat karbon yang dikuatkan (CFRP), yang terbuat dari serat karbon yang disajikan sebagai fiberglass. Sebuah set tujuh balok beton bertulang, masing-masing dengan dimensi 12 x 20 cm dan panjang 200 cm, dibangun untuk menghitung jumlah kontribusi lapisan komposit fiberglass (CFRP) terhadap peningkatan kuat lentur dan daktilitas. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa lapisan CFRP yang lebih banyak membuat balok beton bertulang lebih mudah ditekuk. Kekuatan lentur balok RNSC 1A meningkat sebesar 6,65%, dan kekuatan lentur balok RNSC 2A meningkat sebesar 14,45%. Daktilitas balok RNSC 1B meningkat sebesar 12,71%, dan daktilitas balok RNSC 1B meningkat sebesar 17,13% menjadi 44,52%. Kekuatan fleksibel RNSC 1C meningkat sebesar 20,81% dan 11.89%. Kekuatan fleksibel RNSC 2B meningkat sebesar 17.92% dan 44.64%, sedangkan kekuatan fleksibel RNSC 2C meningkat sebesar 28.62% dan 37.64%.

Abstract

The high volume of vehicles on Jalan Kolonel Haji Burlian in Palembang causes congestion, particularly at conflict points facilitated by median openings. The presence of Superindo Sukarami, located at the median opening at KM 9 of Jalan Kolonel Haji Burlian, has created a new congestion problem on this road segment. This issue arises due to many Superindo Sukarami visitors parking their vehicles on the roadway, as well as visitors exiting the parking area and making an immediate U-turn. This study aims to analyze traffic volume, road capacity, level of service (LOS), and provide solutions to improve U-turn performance. The research was conducted through field surveys to collect primary data from both road directions, as well as secondary data collection, which were then analyzed based on the Indonesian Road Capacity Manual (PKJI, 2023). The analysis results show that the highest traffic volume from the Fly Over Bandara – JM Sukarami direction was 1,943.3 pcu/hour, and from the JM Sukarami – Fly Over Bandara direction was 2,214.4 pcu/hour. The calculated road capacity was 2,924 pcu/hour, resulting in a degree of saturation of 0.66 (LOS C) from Fly Over Bandara – JM Sukarami and 0.76 (LOS D) from JM Sukarami – Fly Over Bandara. By implementing proper parking arrangements and traffic management, the road segment’s performance is expected to improve. Keywords : U-Turn, Traffic Performance, Capacity, Level of Servive (LOS)

Abstract

The increasing population and vehicle ownership in Palembang City, particularly in the Government Office area along Jalan Merdeka, have caused significant parking shortages. This situation forces many vehicles, both from employees and visitors, to use on-street parking, which disrupts traffic flow. This study aims to analyze parking characteristics, including volume, accumulation, duration, turnover rate, parking index, current parking demand, and projections for the next five years, as well as to identify effective parking arrangement alternatives. The research method involved a five-day field survey on weekdays at three main locations, measuring existing parking capacity, recording vehicle entries and exits, and analyzing parking characteristics based on the Technical Guidelines for Parking Facility Management (Directorate General of Land Transportation, 1996). The results indicate that the existing parking capacity does not meet the standard Space Unit for Parking (SRP), with an average parking index exceeding 100% for both two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles. This condition highlights the urgent need for additional or optimized parking spaces. Recommended solutions include developing centralized parking facilities, implementing multi-story or mechanical parking systems, and applying scheduled parking management to improve efficiency and reduce congestion. Keywords : Parking, Capacity, Parking Index, On-Street Parking

Abstract

The Mobile Brigade (Brimob) retention pond is located on Jalan Demang Lebar Daun, Ilir Barat 2 District, Palembang City. The retention pond is in poor condition. It covers 2,147.6 m2 and has a depth of 3 meters. The area of the Brimob retention pond often overflows during heavy rainfall and floods the surrounding roads.From the discussion and calculations, the analysis of the Brimob retention pond shows that the inlet discharge is 6.039 m3/sec. The total flood discharge is 2.1609 m3 for the Brimob retention pond area. The capacity of the Brimob retention pond is 73119m3. From the points above, based on the objectives of this analysis, it is concluded that the retention pond capacity is 73119 m3.

Abstract

At present, paving blocks are widely used as building elements for making building construction, especially for yard pavement, parking lots, and environmental roads. Paving blocks are often used because they have good compressive strength properties, can withstand loads within certain limits, longer plan life, and are easy to install. In addition to these advantages, paving blocks are also better than other pavements in terms of economical maintenance, also in terms of the exterior of a building, and also when viewed in terms of environmental sustainability, as a water absorption system. Sawdust is the material (generally powder) that remains from burning wood. Generally, 6-10% of the mass of wood burned produces ash. From the results of research and discussion in the manufacture of paving blocks with wood dust ash additives planned to increase the compressive strength of paving blocks at the age of 28 days, it was found that the compressive strength of normal paving blocks with 0% wood dust ash was 16.08 MPa, while the compressive strength of paving blocks added with wood dust ash with a composition of 5%, 10%, and 15%, produced a compressive strength of 18.05 MPa; 15.24 MPa; 12.20 MPa;. The effect of sawdust ash on the addition of composition materials in the manufacture of paving blocks can increase the compressive strength of the paving block itself. The compressive strength of paving blocks increases after the addition of sawdust ash from the lowest sawdust ash of 0% to 5% ash only, while paving blocks with 10% and 15% sawdust ash experience a significant decrease in compressive strength value from normal sawdust ash. Keywords: Paving Block, Wood Powder Ash
