Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this study are: 1) What are the factors of traffic violations committed by minors; 2) How are law enforcement efforts against traffic violations by minors; 3) What are the inhibiting factors in law enforcement against traffic violations by minors. This study aims to determine law enforcement against traffic violations by minors studying at SMP Negeri 7 Muaro Jambi based on Article 77 Paragraph 1 of Law no. 22 of 2009 concerning Road Traffic and Transportation. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The results of this study concluded that there are factors that influence minors to commit traffic violations, namely internal and external factors. Law enforcement against traffic violations by minors is carried out with efforts in the form of policies, whether carried out in the form of a sympathetic warning or given sanctions, namely ticketing. And there are two countermeasures if there are traffic violations by minors, the first is preventive to prevent and repressive efforts to improve such as giving warnings and ticketing. Barriers to law enforcement against traffic violations by minors are law enforcement factors, public awareness factors and the lack of thorough socialization of law enforcers.

Abstract

In a democratic country, political literacy is a very important aspect in elections because the higher the political literacy of its citizens, the higher the quality of democracy implementation in the country. Political literacy will create a politically literate society, if there is a lack of political literacy, it will have an impact on the quality of participation. This study aims to find out the level of political literacy of novice voters, find out the level of political participation of novice voters and find out the quality of the correlation between the political literacy of novice voters and their political participation ahead of the 2024 general election. This research is located in Air Hangat Barat District, Kerinci Regency. This study uses a descriptive-correlational method. The data collection technique used is a questionnaire. The sampling technique used is probability sampling, which is simple random sampling. Data analysis was carried out by Pearson correlation test analysis, which was first carried out as a prerequisite for analysis, there was a significant positive relationship between the political literacy of novice voters and political participation ahead of the 2024 election, showing a significance value of p < 0.05. The value of the product moment correlation between x and y is only at 0.409 from the interval of 0.40-0.599, so it is concluded that it is "quite strong" even though it is not at a very high level, because not only political literacy affects novice voters to participate but many other factors can influence novice voters to participate in activities ahead of the general election.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk-bentuk degradasi moral siswa-siswi dalam penerapan nilai pancasila, factor penyebab degradasi moral, implikasi degradasi moral. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa-siswi Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 30 Muaro Jambi. Aspek yang diamati yaitu sikap siswa-siswi terkait dengan penerapan nilai pancasila. Metodologi yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian yang didapat yaitu bentuk degradasi moral siswa-siswi dalam penerapan nilai pancasila yang paling signifikan adalah, penurunan nilai agama, penurunan nilai kemanusiaan, serta penurunan nilai persatuan. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan beberapa faktor penyebab degradasi moral siswa-siswi yakni lemahnya pengetahuan dan paham nilai-nilai Pancasila oleh siswa-siswi, kelalaian orangtua dalam mendidik anak, dan pengaruh gadjet atau media social. Implikasi dari degradasi moral siswa-siswi dalam penerapan nilai pancasila yakni tidak mengindikasikan hubungan manusia dengan tuhan, tidak mengindikasikan karakter peduli social terhadap hubungan hidup sesama manusia, tidak mengindikasikam karakter patriotisme dan kebersamaan, tidak mengindikasikan karakter demokratis dan tidak mengindikasikan nilai keadilan bagi semua pihak tanpa pandang bulu. Maka kesimpulan yang didapatkan yaitu adanya degradasi moral siswa-siswi dalam penerapan nilai pancasila ditinjau dari makna dan hakikat pendidikan kewarganegaraan sebagai pendidikan karakter.

Abstract

This article aims to explore and describe how the political communication of the Head of Pugu Semurup Village, Air Warm Barat District, Kerinci Regency was selected from the perspective of Communicator, Message, Channel, Communican and Effect as village head for the period 2021-2027. This type of research uses qualitative research using descriptive methods. Data collection is done through observation and interviews. Research informants were Defrizal and the Success Team, community leaders and Facebook followers of @Pugu Change Movement. The findings of Defrizal's research are using the Facebook media @Pugu Change Movement as a political communication tool so that it differentiates it from other candidates. Judging from the Communicator, Message, Channel, Communican and Effect, it shows Defrizal's political communication, the elected village head namely: first, the Pugu Semurup village head and his team of successes act as a source or communicator. Second, the delivery of political messages to the community, the message was conveyed in the form of a vision and mission by the village head Defrizal and the success team to the community. Third, political communication occurs through mass media or channels, namely the transmission of political communication with primary media in the form of structured words and the use of social media via Facebook. Fourth, the communicator or recipient of the message, namely the community or residents of Pugu Semurup Village as the target of the campaign. Fifth, the effects or consequences arising from the Head of Defrizal Village and the Success Team, namely attracting the attention of the people of Pugu Semurup Village to vote.
