Abstract

Thils relselarch usels thel Classroom Actilon Relselarch (PTK) melthod. Thils relselarch was carrileld out iln two cyclels through four stagels, namelly: plannilng, actilng, obselrvilng and relflelctilng. Wheln thils relselarch was conducteld, thel relselarchelr took thel thelmel of thel builldilng blocks of poeltry. Thel relselarch relsults show that thel applilcatilon of thel problelm-baseld lelarnilng modell can ilmprovel studelnt lelarnilng outcomels. Thel avelragel lelarnilng outcomels of studelnts iln cyclel Il was 62.28 and iln cyclel IlIl thel avelragel was 80. Thils ilncrelasel iln lelarnilng outcomels was also accompanileld by an ilncrelasel iln thel numbelr of studelnts who complelteld thelilr studilels.

Abstract

Social and emotional learning is driven by the belief that developing students' academic abilities alone is not enough. Social and emotional aspects also need to be considered. Various studies show that social-emotional competence plays an important role in a person's learning process and life success. As educators who interact directly with students, we can observe low learning motivation caused by the lack of application of social-emotional learning in the classroom. This research aims to increase students' learning motivation through social-emotional learning. The method used is library/literature study, with data obtained from studies of journals, books and other relevant sources. The data that has been reviewed will be concluded according to the problem studied. The aim of this research is to provide understanding and knowledge about social-emotional learning in order to increase student motivation in the learning process.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the poetry learning outcomes of students of class XIslamic Senior High School Az-Zahrah Palembang using visual media with a problem based learning model. The research method used is an experimental type of post-test control design. Inthis study using a test technique. The final result of the evaluation of student learning data uses thet-test of the SPSS version 22 program. That is, if the required sig value is > 0.05, the data will behomogeneously distributed. If the value of sig < 0.05 then the data distribution is not homogeneous. The significant value obtained from the calculation results is the sig value of 0.88which means > 0.05. Therefore, the researcher concludes that the problem-based learning modelbased on visual media has an effect on the ability to write poetry texts for the tenth grade studentsof Islamic Senior High School Az-Zahrah Palembang.
