Abstract

Dakwah di pedalaman Kepulauan Mentawai memerlukan keikhlasan yang besar (al-Jihad). Melaksanakannya memerlukan kesabaran dan pemahaman mendalam terhadap budaya lokal. Para ustadz sebagai garda terdepan dalam berdakwah di pedalaman Kepulauan Mentawai tentunya mempunyai pengalaman tersendiri dalam menjalankan dakwah di lapangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginterpretasikan dan menjelaskan pengalaman yang dialami para penyuluh dalam jihad dakwah di pedalaman Kepulauan Mentawai. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologis. Teknik pemilihan informan adalah dengan menggunakan sampel bertujuan (purposive sampling) dan wawancara sebagai alat pengumpulan data. Ada enam aspek yang menjadi fokus penelitian, yaitu alasan menjadi penyuluh, tugas pokok, tantangan dan hambatan, upaya mengatasi tantangan dan hambatan, dampak positif, dan harapan dakwah yang efektif kedepan. Hasil penelitian menemukan; pertama, alasan menjadi konselor adalah panggilan hati, kedua, tugas yang diemban lebih terfokus pada fungsi informatif dan edukatif, ketiga, tantangan dan hambatan yang dihadapi adalah jalan yang sulit ditempuh, aspek internal umat Islam dan eksternal, keempat, upaya yang dilakukan adalah kunjungan rumah, pemberian bantuan materi, dan menjalin hubungan dengan para pendeta, kelima, dampak positif yang dirasakan, banyak mualaf yang telah berhasil, hubungan yang harmonis dalam keluarga, dan semangat anak-anak dan remaja dalam kegiatan keagamaan, dan keenam, harapan penyuluh terhadap dakwah yang efektif di masa depan adalah perhatian yang lebih dari semua kalangan demi pembangunan. komunitas pedalaman Kepulauan Mentawai. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pengalaman jihad dakwah yang dialami oleh penyuluh di pedalaman Kepulauan Mentawai masih banyak mengalami tantantangan, baik berupa medan dakwah yang ditempuh maupun kondisi masyarakat yang dihadapi.

Abstract

Hadith, as the second source of Islamic teachings, is full of scientific values in communication and counseling. This study aims to examine the counseling communication style in the hadith and analyze the story of the repentance of the murderer of a hundred people as an example of application in counseling. This study uses a library research method, a type of study of revelation texts with a sociological and interpretive approach. The data analysis technique for this study uses the content analysis method. The results of the study identified eight styles of counseling communication in the hadith of the story of the repentance of the killer of a hundred people, namely empathetic communication, firm and clear communication, supportive communication, communication providing direction, inspiring communication, communication using stories, reflective communication, and positive communication. In today's contemporary context, this communication style can be applied to clients who come from various backgrounds (cultural, social and economic), dealing with complex problems, online counseling and is also suitable for use in efforts to empower clients.

Abstract

This study examines the importance of integrating Al-Ghazali's legacy into modern Islamic education. This study focusing on the concept of meaningful learning and relevant teaching practices. The research aims to analyze how Al-Ghazali's principles can be applied in today's educational context. The methodology employed is library research, involving a review of various relevant literature and sources. The findings reveal that applying Al-Ghazali's teachings can enhance both academic understanding and character development in students, offering a comprehensive approach to modern education.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a Qur’an-based counseling and psychotherapy model, focusing on the analysis of psychopathology found in Surah Yunus, verse 57. The research employs a qualitative approach using thematic exegesis (maudhu‘i) to uncover the deep meaning of the verse and its relevance to modern psychopathology concepts. Data were collected through a literature review involving classical tafsir, contemporary tafsir, and clinical psychology literature, and then analyzed hermeneutically to identify correlations between the Qur’anic message and therapeutic strategies. The findings indicate that Surah Yunus, verse 57 provides a four-dimensional framework for psychological healing: the educative-preventive dimension (al-maw‘izhah), the curative dimension (al-shifā’), the cognitive-preservative dimension (al-hudā), and the affective-spiritual development dimension (al-rahmah). These four dimensions can be adapted into a Qur’anic counseling model that emphasizes a balance between religious knowledge, self-understanding, cognitive restructuring, and spiritual strengthening. The implications of this model offer an alternative integrative approach that combines modern psychological principles with Islamic values for addressing mental disorders, particularly those related to anxiety, depression, and loss of life meaning. This study recommends the implementation of the Qur’anic counseling model based on Surah Yunus, verse 57 in Islamic mental health service settings as a holistic and transformative intervention strategy.
