Abstract

One of the major problems facing the world today is the incidence of stunting in children under five. WHO predicts that 127 million children under the age of 5 will be stunted by 2025. Stunting is when a child is shorter than other children their age, or in other words, their height is below the standard. The standard used as a reference is the growth curve created by the World Health Organization (WHO). The purpose of this activity is to increase community knowledge related to stunting and its impact and how to overcome it. The methods used in this activity were lectures and discussions. With the number of counseling participants as many as 25 residents. The results obtained after counseling are that the level of knowledge of residents increases regarding stunting and its impact and how to overcome it, Suggestions to residents are expected to disseminate information that has been obtained to other communities.

Abstract

Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) are a collection of symptoms or disorders related to muscle tissue, tendons, ligaments, cartilage, nervous system, bone structure, and blood vessels. MSDs initially cause aches, pains, numbness, tingling, swelling, stiffness, tremors, sleep disturbances and burning sensations. This study aims to determine the relationship between period and length of work with complaints of Musculoskeletal Disorders. The type of research used is quantitative research using a cross sectional approach. This research was carried out in Makassar City on student city transportation cooperatives and public route 05 Makassar City. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. The analysis used was bivariate analysis using the chi-square test. The results showed that there was no relationship between length of work and Musculoskeletal Disorders. It is expected that public transport drivers for route 05 Makassar city will do stretching before and after work to stretch tense muscles and drink enough water in a day and rest should be done routinely every time they make 1 route round.

Abstract

Upaya meningkatkan akses masyarakat terhadap pelayanan kesehatan yang berkualitas, diantaranya meningkatkan akses terhadap pelayanan kesehatan dasar. Peran Puskesmas dan jaringannya sebagai institusi yang menyelenggarakan pelayanan kesehatan dijenjang pertama yang terlibat langsung dengan masyarakat menjadi sangat penting. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pengetahuan, jarak pelayanan dan dukungan keluarga dengan pemanfaatan Pelayanan kesehatan di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Biji Nangka Kabupaten Sinjai. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Juni sampai Juli tahun 2022. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah survey analitik dengan pendekatan Cross Sectional Study. Tehnik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Rumus Slovin dengan jumlah sampel 323 responden. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara pengetahuan (p = 0,000), jarak pelayanan (p = 0,009) dan dukungan keluarga (p = 0,000) dengan pemanfaatan Pelayanan kesehatan di wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Biji Nangka Kabupaten Sinjai. Disarankan agar Puskesmas sebagai pusat pelayanan kesehatan masyarakat memberikan edukasi kepada masyarakat dengan melakukan penyuluhan guna menambah pengetahuan dan wawasan masyarakat terutama tentang pemanfaatan pelayanan Kesehatan.
