Abstract

This study aims to conduct a literature review related to the analysis of inpatient patient satisfaction surveys using the Hospital Management Information System (SIMRS) method as a tool to improve service quality in hospitals. Patient satisfaction surveys are an important instrument in assessing the quality of services provided by hospitals. Through the implementation of SIMRS, the process of collecting, processing, and analysing survey data can be done more efficiently and accurately, thus providing quick and relevant feedback for management decision-making. The literature reviewed included various studies on SIMRS implementation and its impact on improving service quality, particularly in terms of inpatient satisfaction. The review showed that the use of SIMRS contributed to improvements in various aspects of service, such as responsiveness to patient complaints, management of service time, and transparency of medical information. SIMRS also enables better monitoring and evaluation of service quality indicators, supporting continuous improvement in the hospital. Overall, this literature review concludes that the integration of patient satisfaction surveys with SIMRS is an effective approach to improving quality of care in hospitals. SIMRS implementation can accelerate the quality improvement process, improve operational efficiency, and ultimately significantly improve patient satisfaction.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah meneliti penggunaan sistem informasi terintegrasi untuk mendukung manajemen keuangan rumah sakit. Masalah utama yang dihadapi rumah sakit dalam manajemen keuangan termasuk tidak andalan data, prosedur pelaporan yang tertunda, dan kurangnya integrasi data antar departemen. Rumah sakit yang menerapkan sistem informasi terintegrasi diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efisiensi, akurasi, dan transparansi manajemen keuangan. Teknik penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif, yang melibatkan wawancara dan analisis dokumen di berbagai rumah sakit yang telah mengadopsi sistem ini. Temuan studi menunjukkan bahwa sistem informasi terintegrasi meningkatkan manajemen keuangan, terutama dalam hal ketepatan waktu pelaporan dan pengendalian anggaran.

Abstract

Abstract: Work fatigue experienced by nurses is one of the significant factors that can reduce the quality of health services and increase the risk of errors in medical actions. Nurses who experience fatigue tend to show a significant decrease in performance, both in terms of the effectiveness of nursing actions and productivity in providing health services. The purpose of the study was to determine the factors associated with job fatigue in nurses. The research design used in this study was cross sectional. The research was conducted at RSU Haji Medan in July 2024. The study population was all inpatient nurses at RSU Haji Medan which amounted to 227 people. The sample amounted to 119 respondents. The sampling technique used Simple Random Sampling. The research instrument used a research questionnaire. Data analysis was performed univariate and bivariate. The results showed a relationship between age (p value: 0.032) and workload (p value: 0.01) to job fatigue in nurses. Abstract

Latar Belakang Logistik farmasi merupakan komponen vital dalam menjamin kontinuitas pelayanan kesehatan di rumah sakit, khususnya dalam menjaga ketersediaan obat dan alat kesehatan. Penerapan Sistem Informasi Rumah Sakit (SIRS) menjadi solusi untuk mengatasi tantangan pengelolaan logistik tradisional seperti kesalahan pencatatan dan keterlambatan pemesanan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh implementasi SIRS terhadap efisiensi, efektivitas, dan akurasi dalam pengelolaan logistik farmasi, serta mengidentifikasi tantangan dan faktor pendukung keberhasilannya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus di sebuah rumah sakit di Jakarta. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dengan berbagai informan dari unit farmasi, manajemen, dan IT rumah sakit, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan menurut model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil bahwa penerapan SIRS meningkatkan akurasi pencatatan, efisiensi pengelolaan stok, serta mempercepat proses distribusi obat. Sistem ini mempermudah pemantauan stok secara real-time dan mengurangi risiko kekosongan atau kelebihan stok. Tantangan utama yang dihadapi meliputi keterbatasan pelatihan bagi staf, kendala teknis, serta integrasi data yang belum optimal antarunit. Faktor pendukung utama keberhasilan implementasi meliputi dukungan manajemen, pembaruan perangkat lunak dan keras, serta pelatihan berkelanjutan. Kesimpulannya, SIRS berkontribusi signifikan dalam meningkatkan kualitas pengelolaan logistik farmasi di rumah sakit. Untuk mengoptimalkan implementasi SIRS, disarankan agar rumah sakit memperkuat pelatihan staf, meningkatkan infrastruktur teknologi, mengembangkan integrasi data antarunit, memperkuat sistem keamanan data, serta memanfaatkan fitur analitik untuk mendukung pengambilan keputusan berbasis data.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the level of human resource (HR) competency in supporting hospital management information systems, and to understand the qualifications and impacts of the digital era on HR performance, including management strategies for facing structural transformation and work culture in the digital industry. This study employs a qualitative, descriptive exploratory approach to investigate the correlation between job satisfaction, hospital service quality, and HR competency. This method uses semi-structured interviews and open-ended questionnaires to collect data from human resources at the hospital, as well as from ten families of patients who have completed treatment. This study also collected secondary data through documents such as company profiles and websites. The researcher acted as a "key instrument" in the study, focusing on an in-depth understanding of service quality, job satisfaction, and HR competency in the context of the hospital. HR competency in the digital era affects job satisfaction and service quality, as evidenced by the expertise, nature, and motivation of good doctors and nurses, so that the quality of service provided to patients is better. The job satisfaction felt is caused by healing, compensation, and praise, so that doctors and nurses provide better service quality to patients. The results of the study indicate that the research model is acceptable. Competence of digital-era human resources, as demonstrated by education and competence, good and appropriate human resources, and better patient services, influences the quality of hospital services.
