Abstract

Penelitian ini mempunyai tujuan yaitu untuk mengetahui keefektivan ataupun pengaruh dalam penggunaan model pembelajaran berdiferensiasi terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia kelas IV di SDN Sendangguwo 01 dengan populasi 27 siswa. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kuantitatif eksperimen menggunakan pre eksperimental dengan desain one group pretest-posttest design. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan data tes, dokumentasi, dan observasi. Berdasarkan dari hasil yang diperoleh melalui Uji Normalitas menggunakan Saphiro Wilk memperoleh hasil >0.05 yaitu memiliki hasil Sig. 100 dan 105 pada nilai pretest dan posttest. Kemudian dilihat dari hasil Uji Paired T-Test menunjukkan Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, maksudnya terdapat perbedaan antara rata-rata hasil pretest dan rata-rata hasil posttest dengan memberikan perlakuan sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Kemudian terlihat juga dari hasil Uji N-Gain diperoleh hasil nilai rata-rata 0.59. Hal tersebut dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa dalam menggunakan model pembelajaran berdiferensiasi mengalami peningkatan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia kelas IV SDN Sendangguwo 01 dengan kriteria sedang.

Abstract

Researcher found a lack of students activity during the learning process which was carried out by forming heterogeneous groups. Based on these problems, researchers conducted a research by applying the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) approach with the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model to grade IIA students at Sendangguwo 01 elementary schooll and aimed to explore students' learning using the TaRL approach with the PBL model in grade IIA at Sendangguwo 01 elementary school. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach. The research participants were 29 studentes in grade IIA at Sendangguwo 01 elementary school that consisted of 14 men and 15 women. The research results showed that students have a positive perception of learning using the TaRL approach with the PBL model. They consider this learning can provide an opportunity to work together with classmates, learn to solve the problems, and they can be in a group with equal abilities. This research provides a deeper understanding of students’ perceptions with TaRL approach learning with the PBL learning model in class IIA at Sendangguwo 01elementary school.
