Abstract

This research explores the role of KH Jujun Junaedi's rhetoric in the development of Sufism (Tasawuf) preaching at Pesantren Al-Jauhari. The study examines how KH Jujun Junaedi uses rhetorical techniques to deliver Sufism teachings effectively and persuasively, aiming to establish a deep connection with his audience. The research employs a qualitative approach, using phenomenology and rhetorical analysis to understand how the rhetoric affects the understanding and practice of Sufism among the santri and community at the pesantren. The findings indicate that his rhetorical approach, blending educational, recreational, and informative elements, is crucial in making the teachings accessible and impactful. The study also identifies supporting and hindering factors in the implementation of his rhetoric, such as his popularity, communication style, and physical challenges related to aging. This research contributes to the understanding of the intersection between rhetoric and religious teaching, particularly in the context of Sufism at Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

This study explores the application of marriage simulation as an innovative method for understanding fiqh munaqahat in higher education, specifically in Islamic Education programs. Fiqh munaqahat, which deals with marriage, divorce, and the rights and duties of spouses according to Islamic law, often presents challenges for students who struggle to connect theoretical knowledge to practical life situations. The marriage simulation offers a solution by allowing students to actively engage in all stages of the marriage process, from the akad nikah (marriage contract) to the ceremonial hajatan (wedding reception), applying Islamic principles in a real-world context. This hands-on experience enriches students’ understanding of the complexities of marital life, enhances their practical skills, and prepares them for the future responsibilities of marriage, making the learning process more applicable and engaging. The study emphasizes the benefits of this method, not only in deepening theoretical knowledge but also in providing crucial emotional and social skills necessary for successful relationships.

Abstract

Shallots are one of the horticultural commodities that are really needed by the community, where this red onion commodity has become a source of income and employment opportunities and has made quite a high contribution to the economic development of a region, especially in several regions in Indonesia, especially the West Java region which is one of the largest producers of shallots. Several areas that have great potential, such as Garut, Cirebon, Majalengka and Bandung, are producers of shallots in West Java. On this occasion, we carried out service that focused on the Garut district area where shallot farming is the largest area managed by the people of Garut district. The aim of the empowerment carried out is to use unsold shallots into a fried onion production business to improve the community's economy, which is carried out through analyzing problems in the field, gathering farmer residents, providing counseling, technical training and assistance on how to process raw shallots into fried onions. has economic value so that a processing method that is effective, efficient and has high selling value is found as people's need for fried onions continues to increase.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang pelaksanaan dan dampak majelis taklim sebagai program pembinaan spiritual bagi lansia di Satuan Pelayanan Griya Lansia Garut, Jawa Barat. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif fenomenologi, pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi yang melibatkan pekerja sosial, penghuni lansia, dan anggota Ikatan Penyuluh Agama Islam (IPAI) Tarogong Kidul. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan majelis taklim memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan terhadap kesejahteraan spiritual, kestabilan emosi, dan interaksi sosial lansia. Program ini terstruktur dan didukung oleh kolaborasi antarlembaga, fasilitas yang memadai, dan pendekatan empati dari pengasuh dan penyuluh agama. Kendala yang ditemui seperti keterbatasan fisik, resistensi psikologis, dan latar belakang lansia yang beragam dapat diatasi melalui komunikasi persuasif, konseling spiritual individual, dan strategi pembelajaran adaptif. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa majelis taklim berfungsi sebagai media yang efektif untuk pendidikan agama dan penyembuhan emosional di antara penghuni lansia terlantar dan terisolasi secara sosial di lingkungan perawatan institusional.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of religious activities on the spiritual well-being of elderly people living in social care institutions. Spiritual well-being is an important aspect of the lives of elderly people, especially in dealing with the various physical, psychological, and social changes that accompany the aging process. This study used a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation of informants consisting of elderly people, caretakers of the institution, and religious leaders. The results showed that religious activities, such as religious study, collective dhikr, and regular spiritual guidance have a positive impact on inner peace, enthusiasm for life, and a sense of meaning in life for the elderly. These activities also strengthen social relationships among residents of the institution and strengthen the spiritual dimension of the elderly in their old age. Supporting factors for religious activities include the availability of adequate worship facilities and infrastructure, a supportive social environment, and the active role of religious leaders as spiritual guides and motivators. Conversely, inhibiting factors include the elderly's weak physical condition, limited access to activities, and a lack of specialized assistance. Thus, the implementation of structured and sustainable religious activities is essential as part of a holistic approach to improving the quality of life of elderly people in social care institutions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between principal managerial performance and organizational culture, personality, job satisfaction, and decision making simultaneously in the context of Indonesian schools. A quantitative correlational design was employed, involving school principals and teachers as respondents, selected through probability sampling. Data were collected using Likert-scale questionnaires and analyzed using linearity tests and multiple regression to examine relationships among the variables. The results indicate that all variables have significant linear relationships. Organizational culture and personality positively influence job satisfaction and decision-making effectiveness, which in turn affect principal managerial performance. These findings underscore the importance of developing a supportive organizational culture and strengthening personal characteristics to enhance school leadership effectiveness. The study provides theoretical contributions to educational management literature and practical implications for improving school management quality.

Abstract

Indonesia, as a country with high religious and cultural diversity, faces challenges in building attitudes of religious moderation among students. Religious moderation, which includes tolerance, balance and respect for differences, is needed to prevent radicalism and conflict between religious believers. This research uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method to evaluate the role of higher education in integrating the values of religious moderation through curriculum, learning, and religious moderation in higher education. The results of the study show that the hidden curriculum-based curriculum, integration of multicultural education, and courses such as Pancasila Education and Comparative Religion Science are effective in building students' moderate character. Implementation of the values of religious moderation is also carried out through Islamic Religious Education learning which emphasizes morals and teacher examples. Examples of implementation in several universities show the importance of principles such as deliberation, tolerance and inclusive attitudes in creating a harmonious academic environment.

Abstract

This study investigates the use of educational games to enchance Akidah Akhlak learning in elementary schools. Using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, 5 selected articles were analyzed to examine implementation, implications, and evaluations of game-based learning. The findings reveal that educational games, such as Kahoot and Wordwall, effectively increase students' motivation, engagement, and understanding of Akidah Akhlak concepts. These games create an interactive and enjoyable learning experience that supports various learning styles and promotes character development. However, challenges include dependence on technology, distractions, and limited access to resources, particularly in underprivileged areas. The study emphasizes the need for teachers to receive adequate training to select and integrate high-quality educational games effectively. Overall,  educational games have a positive impact on learning outcomes serve as an innovative and promising tool to improve students’ moral education, foster character building, and enhance learning outcomes in Akidah Akhlak subjects at the elementary school level.
