Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic that was present in Indonesia resulted in a large number of deaths and transmission of the Covid-19 Virus. In this regard, the government issued various policies such as Physical Distancing, Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB), and Restrictions on Community Activities (PPKM). This policy is considered quite significant in breaking the chain of the spread of the Coronavirus, but this policyactually hits the economic sector where it causes an increase in the unemployment rate.Therefore, this study aims to determine what factors cause high unemployment in North Sumatra. The research method carried out by researchers is Literature Review by reviewing various articles from previous studies that have been published nationally in accredited scientific journals. In this study the authors used a data collection method, namely Literary Study where research was conducted by quoting several literature from books, articles, and other essays that are closely related to the factors causing the high unemployment rate in North Sumatra 2021 due to the Covid-19 Pandemic.The results of this study indicate that there are several factors causing the high unemployment rate . Among them are mass termination of employment relations, government policies such as PSBB and PPKM, and closure of employment opportunities

Abstract

International trade is an arena where goods and services are exchanged on a global scale. This happens because various countries collaborate in trade, driven by the desire to circulate goods and services freely. Through international trade, a country can increase prosperity and create balance in demand, supply, and services. This research aims to analyze the impact of international trade on Indonesia's economic growth. The research method used is qualitative research using literature review, where the author will examine written sources from various library references by collecting data, reviewing and analyzing data obtained from these written sources. By conducting international trade, a country can experience e increased prosperity through economic growth, job creation, and increasing Gross Domestic Product (GDP). Additionally, international trade enables the transfer of technology and business knowledge. However, international trade can also have an impact on reducing domestic demand due to imports, which can reduce domestic productivity and employment opportunities and result in a decrease in economic growth.

Abstract

In the current digital era, developments in information technology have influenced various aspects of life, including the economy and education. The aim of this research is to see how digital economic education influences financial literacy in the younger generation. The type of research used is quantitative research. The results of the partial regression test (T test) are at a significance level of 0.05 with a T value of 6.293 with a significance of 0.000 < 0.05. Meanwhile, the Ttable value is 2.034. Therefore Ha is accepted because the value of tcount is 6.293 > ttable 2.034 so it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between economic education on the financial literacy of the younger generation. Based on the correlation test results, the correlation test results show that there is a strong and positive relationship between digital economic education and the financial literacy of the younger generation. The correlation coefficient value of 0.793 indicates that the two variables have a close relationship.

Abstract

Technological advances in the field of payment systems have also changed the function of cash from the main means of payment to a non-cash payment method that is more efficient, practical and economical. This research aims to analyze the influence of the use of digital payment systems in UKM on the buying interest of Economic Education Study Program students class of 2022. This research uses a quantitative research design, which uses numerical data to assess conclusions. The population of this research are students of the 2022 Stambuk Economic Education study program, Medan State University who are interested in using a digital payment system.. The research used 30 samples. Based on the research results, it shows that the use of digital SME payment systems affects students' buying interest, where the results of the partial regression test (T test) are at a significant level of 0.05 with a T value of 8.461 with a significance of 0.000 < 0.05. Meanwhile, the Ttable value is 2.034. Therefore, Ha is accepted because the tcount value is 8.461 > table 2.034 so it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between the use of digital SME payment systems on the student purchasing interest variable. The correlation coefficient value of 0.827 indicates that the two variables have a close relationship, where an increase in the use of digital payment systems will be followed by an increase in students' buying interest.

Abstract

People with low incomes may see sharia pawnshops as a way to obtain additional funds by using their assets as collateral. In this case, their interest in using sharia pawnshops is related to increasing their income. Considering the importance of understanding people's interest and income towards sharia pawnshops, a comprehensive and in-depth analysis is needed. This research aims to analyze what factors influence people's interest in sharia pawnshops, as well as the relationship between people's income and interest in sharia pawnshops. The method used in this research is a literature review, namely a systematic, clear and repeatable identification method. The data source for this research uses secondary data in the form of literature studies by analyzing various reading materials related to people's income, people's interests, and sharia pawnshops.

Abstract

This research is entitled The role of capital markets in increasing economic growth in Indonesia. The aim of this research is to determine: 1) The contribution of the capital market in economic growth, 2) Trends in the capital market in Indonesia's growth 3) Opportunities and challenges faced by the capital market in Indonesia. In implementing a country's national economic development, funding is needed from the government and society, while one alternative source of funding is the capital market. The capital market is a place to trade securities issued by institutions and professions related to securities. The research method used was a literature review. The role of the capital market in national economic growth can be seen through its influence on macroeconomic indicators such as the real exchange rate, inflation rate and economic growth as measured by Gross Domestic Product. And the development of the capital market in Indonesia is moving positively, which can be reflected in the increase in public interest in investing in it. This can be observed from the growth in the number of investors registered with the Indonesian Central Securities Depository (KSEI) through single investor identification (SID).
