Abstract

This study discusses implementing management and legal education approaches in building students' character and communication skills at SMPN 4 Muara. The main goal is to improve the quality of learning that focuses not only on academic achievement but also on developing students' positive character and communication skills. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach with field studies through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis. The study results show that character-based management, such as discipline, responsibility, and cooperation, can result in positive student behavior. In addition, integrating legal knowledge into the curriculum also increases students' legal awareness, helping them understand their rights and obligations and the importance of ethics in daily communication. This approach effectively reduces cases of rule violations in schools and improves students' ability to communicate effectively and ethically. Thus, this study proposes a management model and legal knowledge that can be applied as an integral part of character education in junior high school to form a legally insightful generation with good communication skills.

Abstract

The phenomenon of corruption is inevitable in company-related crime and delinquency, and it can affect the entire system by reducing normal funds and capital, hindering progress in advancing any company globally. Therefore, candidates for managerial positions rely on tests that reveal their true personalities and their ability to manage the company effectively. Research and development methods are used to design a test, referred to as the poster method, which assesses how candidates address issues of corruption among staff, particularly in finance and legal aspects, using a literature-based approach. In fact, the test is designed to create transparency in managers' handling of corrupt or fraudulent staff, with a focus on analyzing methods for eliminating corruption within the company.

Abstract

Penegakan hokum terhadap tindak pidana prostitusi menggunakan media online. Adapun yang menjadi tujuan dari penelitian yakni mengetahui faktor penyebab terjadinya tindak pidana prostitusi online menggunakan media online, untuk mengetahui hambatan dalam penanggulangan tindak pidana prostitusi online dengan menggunanak media online dan mengetahui upaya yang dilakukan untuk mengurangi terjadinya tindak pidana prostitusi online dengan menggunanak media online. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan Faktor penyebab terjadinya tindak pidana prostitusi online menggunakan media online meliputi faktor moral, psikologis, biologis, ekonomi dan sosiologis. Hambatan dalam penanggulangan tindak pidana prostitusi online dengan menggunanak media online adalah hambatan hukum yang belum terperinci terhadap pelanggaran kesusilaan secara online, faktor penegak hukum yang kurang dan belum memahami teknologi informasi dengan baik, sarana dan fasilitas yang kurang efektif dan kesadaran masyarakat yang kurang untuk memberikan peran aktif penanggulangan ataupun pencegahan. Langkah represif yang dilakukan dalam penanggulangan prostitusi yaitu berupa razia operasi penyakit masyarakat sebagai penanggulangan prostitusi yang ada dan langkah preventif yaitu dengan mengadakan sosialisasi kepada tokoh-tokoh masyarakat tentang praktik prostitusi yang ada melalui bimbingan, pengarahan dan ajakan.Adapun saran dari penelitian ini adalah Sebaiknya sanksi untuk prostitusi online yang telah diatur dalam UU Informasi dan Transaksi Elektronik dan UU Pornografi tersebut, sebaiknya mencantumkan batas hukuman secara lebih tegas, yakni dengan ditentukan batas minimum penjara atau denda.

Abstract

The Baion plant (Pandanus tectorius) is known as a thriving plant and as a natural resource that has many benefits. People in various regions, including Humbang Hasundutan Regency, have used these plant parts for various purposes, such as handicraft raw materials, food, and cultural products. However, maximum utilization is still not fully realized, so further research is needed to explore this potential. This effort is expected to be a solution to increase local MSME income, reduce dependence on imported materials, and preserve local wisdom. The purpose of this research is to explore the potential of Baion plants in supporting the development of MSMEs, as well as identify factors that affect the successful implementation of the use of Baion plants. This research method uses qualitative and quantitative approaches through surveys, product manufacturing experiments, and MSME training. SWOT analysis is used to evaluate market opportunities, while organoleptic tests are applied to Baion-based food products. The survey method is used to collect preliminary data from respondents, either through questionnaires or interviews, to understand market preferences and needs. On the other hand, product manufacturing experiments are carried out to evaluate variations in formulas and production methods, especially in Baion-based food products, through organoleptic tests to assess sensory quality (taste, aroma, texture, and appearance). In addition, MSME training is held to improve the ability of producers in product development and marketing. In evaluating market potential, a SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) analysis is carried out which functions to find out the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of a business.

Abstract

This community service aims to develop the digitization of local wisdom as literacy media at SD Negeri 173280 Lobu Siregar with a focus on management reviews and legal aspects. The development of digital technology opens up new opportunities in the preservation and dissemination of local wisdom as literacy media. This activity aims to analyze the digitization of local wisdom at SDN 173280 Lobu Siregar from a management and legal perspective. The method of this activity uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews. The results of this activity show that the digitization of local wisdom, such as folklore, customs, and traditional arts, can improve student literacy while preserving regional culture. From the management aspect, schools need strategic planning, teacher training and collaboration with local communities to ensure program sustainability. Meanwhile, from the legal side, it is necessary to pay attention to intellectual property rights, data protection, and digital ethics in the use of cultural content. The main challenges include limited technological infrastructure and teachers' understanding of the legal aspects of digitization. This service activity recommends strengthening school policies and government support in the integration of digital-based local wisdom for sustainable education. ABSTRAK Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan digitalisasi kearifan lokal sebagai media literasi di SD Negeri 173280 Lobu Siregar dengan fokus pada tinjauan manajemen dan aspek hukum. Perkembangan teknologi digital membuka peluang baru dalam pelestarian dan penyebarluasan kearifan lokal sebagai media literasi. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis digitalisasi kearifan lokal di SDN 173280 Lobu Siregar dari perspektif manajemen dan hukum. Metode kegiatan ini  menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa digitalisasi kearifan lokal, seperti cerita rakyat, adat istiadat, dan kesenian tradisional, dapat meningkatkan literasi siswa sekaligus melestarikan budaya daerah. Dari aspek manajemen, sekolah memerlukan perencanaan strategis, pelatihan guru, serta kolaborasi dengan komunitas lokal untuk memastikan keberlanjutan program. Sementara itu, dari sisi hukum, perlu diperhatikan hak kekayaan intelektual, perlindungan data, serta etika digital dalam penggunaan konten budaya. Tantangan utama meliputi keterbatasan infrastruktur teknologi dan pemahaman guru terhadap aspek legal digitalisasi. Kegiatan Pengabdian ini merekomendasikan penguatan kebijakan sekolah dan dukungan pemerintah dalam integrasi kearifan lokal berbasis digital untuk pendidikan yang berkelanjutan.
