Abstract

Abstract Drug addiction, a complex and deeply entrenched issue, has emerged as a global challenge transcending borders and affecting diverse communities. This paper delves into the multifaceted nature of drug addiction, exploring its physiological, psychological, and social dimensions. From the initial allure to the devastating consequences, it examines the factors that drive individuals towards substance abuse and the subsequent impact on their health, relationships, and society at large. Through this exploration, the paper sheds light on the importance of comprehensive prevention, intervention, and rehabilitation strategies, as well as the need for empathy and understanding in addressing this pressing concern. Ultimately, it advocates for a collective effort to break the cycle of addiction and provide pathways to recovery and healing.

Abstract

Over 50,000 villages across the country have adopted Mission Antyodaya, which has had a significant positive impact on poverty reduction, improved access to key services, and promoted equitable growth. However, the effort faces a number of challenges, including a lack of adequate funding, ineffective monitoring methods, and hostility from well-established power structures. These challenges must be addressed in order for the program to be successful and to ensure that the most marginalised people in society benefit from development.

Abstract

Zain-ul-Abidin, also known as Bud Shah, was a notable king of Kashmir who ushered in a period of peace, prosperity, and benevolent rule for nearly half a century. He was a liberal ruler who established peace in his kingdom and promoted the welfare of his subjects. During his reign, Muslim rule firmly established its roots in Kashmir, and he became the harbinger of new thoughts and ideas. He encouraged the arts, literature, and music, and his court was a hub of culture and creativity. Zain-ul-Abidin was deeply committed to the development of Kashmir and took great interest in the developmental programs in all aspects of life. He undertook tours to different parts of the country to find out the condition of the people and how his officers were carrying out the administration. Zain-ul-Abidin's legacy is still remembered in Kashmir today, and he is revered as one of the greatest kings of the region. Hence an attempt has been made in this research article to trace the social, cultural and political development of the region during the period of Sultan Zain ul Abidin.

Abstract

Abstract The apple is one of the most significant horticultural products and is well-known for its health advantages all over the world. In northern India, Kashmir is one of the main apple-producing regions. The apple business in Kashmir, especially in the region of sopore, is the Valley's main employer and the foundation of its economy. The fame of this fruit extends beyond the borders of the nation and into other countries. It is the sole source of income for many households and employs about 60% of the population overall. During the harvest season, tons of apples are sent to other states in India as well as to countries outside of India, and some are held here in cold storage. Although Kashmir produces several apple varieties, only seven are farmed on a commercial basis. The Mustafa Memorial Fruit Mandi, which is situated near Sopore in the district of Baramulla, is one of the main apple markets in the Valley of Kashmir.

Abstract

Abstract The culture and traditions of Kashmir are a rich and varied mosaic that has been made over hundreds of years. Located in the northernmost part of India, Kashmir has been influenced by a numerous of cultures and religions, resulting in a unique blend of traditions and practices. The people of Kashmir are known for their warm hospitality, intricate handicrafts, delicious cuisine, and music and dance that reflect their heritage. Despite its beauty and richness, Kashmiri culture has faced challenges such as conflict, displacement, and environmental degradation, Kashmiri culture and traditions have remained resilient and continue to thrive. By exploring the unique practices and customs of the Kashmiri people, this paper aims to highlight the beauty and richness of their cultural heritage and the importance of preserving it for future generations.
