Abstract

The government's plan to transform the Tanjung Siambang area into a tourist destination necessitates the relocation of fishermen's homes. Job diversification becomes a solution for fishermen in Tanjung Siambang to survive. Job diversification is a strategy that must be implemented by fishermen because, without it, they will face difficulties in meeting their household economic needs. Economic needs must be continually met to ensure daily life runs smoothly. The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of relocation due to the construction of resorts and golf courses on the fishing community in Dompak Island. This study uses a qualitative approach. This approach is used to describe the context of fishermen's lives in job diversification for survival. The data sources in this study are primary and secondary data obtained through observation and in-depth interviews. The results of the study show that many fishermen in Tanjung Siambang Village have diversified their jobs by working as laborers, members of the municipal police (Satpol PP), and gardening. Moreover, the roles of fishermen's wives also contribute to the economy to meet daily needs. The impact of the relocation due to development has led the community to choose side jobs to meet daily needs and create independence by starting home industries. The development of the golf course has caused the local community to lose their homes and made access to boats for fishermen more difficult. This has fostered the creativity of the local community, which is a novelty in this study.

Abstract

This research began with the researcher's relationship regarding the role of smart cars on the literacy of students in Karimun Besar. This qualitative research using the case study method aims to analyze students regarding smart cars. Researchers use the theory of structural functionalism by Talcot Parrson to analyze the function of smart cars in increasing literacy in the current era. The results of this research show that the presence of smart cars makes students broaden their knowledge. The role of smart cars is to increase literacy. The use of increasing children's interest in reading can be seen after the arrival of the Karimun Regional Archives and Library Office smart car arrived at the school. The library aims to make users interested, so that interest increases in visitors. The efforts made by the Karimun district library and archives service include having a mobile library service to schools in Karimun.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji strategi partai politik dalam memenangkan calon legislatif perempuan pada Pemilihan Umum 2024 di Kecamatan Tanjungpinang Timur. Fokus penelitian diarahkan pada tiga partai politik besar, yakni Partai Keadilan Sejahtera (PKS), Partai Demokrasi Indonesia Perjuangan (PDI-P), dan Partai Golongan Karya (Golkar). Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, serta dokumentasi terhadap pengurus partai dan masyarakat pemilih. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterlibatan perempuan dalam ranah politik merupakan hasil perpaduan antara kebijakan afirmatif yang mewajibkan keterwakilan perempuan sebesar 30% dan strategi partai dalam membina serta mendukung kader perempuan. PDI-P menonjolkan pemberdayaan melalui organisasi perempuan internal, PKS memperkuat kapasitas kader lewat lembaga BPKK, sedangkan Golkar menerapkan sistem rekrutmen terbuka dan memberikan dukungan struktural melalui organisasi sayap seperti KPPG dan Al-Hidayah. Meskipun pendekatan yang dilakukan masing-masing partai berbeda, ketiganya memiliki tujuan serupa, yaitu meningkatkan kepercayaan publik terhadap caleg perempuan. Dari perspektif feminisme, partisipasi perempuan dalam politik tidak hanya mencerminkan upaya individu, tetapi juga merupakan bagian dari gerakan kolektif untuk memperjuangkan kesetaraan gender dan keadilan sosial di tengah dominasi budaya patriarki. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa keberhasilan caleg perempuan tidak hanya ditentukan oleh strategi partai, tetapi juga oleh kemampuan mereka menembus batas-batas sosial dan membangun kepercayaan masyarakat.
