Abstract

This study aims to test and analyze the effect of budget participation and clarity of budget targets on managerial performance at the Makassar City Office Joint Office. The approach used is a descriptive approach with quantitative methods. The population is the head of the agency/skpd, the head of the section/field, and the head of the subdivision at the Joint Office of the Makssar City Office, while the sample taken amounted to 48 respondents. The sampling method is Nonprobability Sampling. Hypothesis testing using multiple linear regression with the help of statistical package for the social science (SPSS) Version 20 software. Distributed questionnaires utilize ordinal scales. The results showed that the regression coefficient value of the Budget Participation variable of 0.229 with a calculated t value of 2.107 was greater than the table t value of 1.679 so that it could be stated that budget participation had a significant effect on managerial performance. The results of the study on the variable clarity of budget targets showed that the value of the regression coefficient of 1.322 with a calculated t value of 5.009 was greater than the table t value of 1.679 so that it can be stated that the clarity of budget targets has a significant effect on managerial performance at the Makassar City Office Joint Office

Abstract

ABSTRACT Cash waqf as one of the Islamic economic instruments has great potential in community economic empowerment, especially in supporting entrepreneurship development. This article aims to examine the concept of an entrepreneurship program that focuses on cash waqf-based economic empowerment. Through literature review and concept analysis, this article explains how cash waqf can be utilized as business capital that supports job creation and business sustainability in the community. It also discusses the challenges and opportunities that arise from the application of cash waqf in entrepreneurship programs. The results of the analysis show that cash waqf has the potential to strengthen the community economy, increase access to business capital, and contribute to poverty reduction. ABSTRAK Wakaf uang sebagai salah satu instrumen ekonomi Islam berpotensi besar dalam pemberdayaan ekonomi masyarakat, terutama dalam mendukung pengembangan kewirausahaan. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji konsep program kewirausahaan yang berfokus pada pemberdayaan ekonomi berbasis wakaf uang. Melalui studi literatur dan analisis konsep, artikel ini menjelaskan bagaimana wakaf uang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai modal usaha yang mendukung penciptaan lapangan kerja dan keberlanjutan usaha di masyarakat. Dalam pembahasan ini, dibahas pula berbagai tantangan dan peluang yang muncul dari penerapan wakaf uang dalam program kewirausahaan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa wakaf uang memiliki potensi untuk memperkuat ekonomi masyarakat, meningkatkan akses terhadap modal usaha, dan berkontribusi pada pengurangan angka kemiskinan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how much influence work discipline and leadership style have on the performance of employees of the Serang Regency Education and Culture Office. The research variables are work discipline (X1), leadership style (X2), employee performance (Y). This research method uses a quantitative method with a causal research design (cause and effect). The population in this study amounted to 46 people with a sample of 30 employees, the sampling technique used a probability sampling technique using a random sampling sample. Data collection was carried out through a questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability, while data analysis was carried out using the multiple regression method. The results of the study indicate that work discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, even when there is a combination of poor leadership styles. Work discipline has also been shown to provide a positive and significant contribution to employee performance, even though it is applied simultaneously with a negative leadership style.
