Abstract

This study aims to analyze scientific performance and analyze students' higher-order thinking skills after the application of problem-based LK to develop higher-order thinking skills in the use of coconut shell as an adsorbent for Zn metal in laboratory wastewater. The research method used is pre-experiment with one shot case study design. The subjects in this study were chemistry education students of UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung who took separation chemistry courses. The instruments used are learning descriptions, LK, and higher order thinking skills questions. Students' higher-order thinking skills are measured through working on six HOTS questions based on the concept of Bloom's taxonomy level of thinking at cognitive levels C4 (analyze), C5 (Evaluate) and C6 (Create). The results showed that the average value of student performance in solving problem-based LK was 88.35 with a very good category. The highest average score achieved was at stage 2 organizing students with a score of 91.5 and a very good category. The lowest average value at stage 4 develops and presents results with a value of 86.25 and a very good category. The results of students' higher order thinking skills obtained an average score of 78 in the good category. Thus the application of problem-based LK on the utilization of coconut shell as a heavy metal adsorbent in laboratory wastewater can develop higher order thinking skills in students.

Abstract

Pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui revitalisasi Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDes) merupakan salah satu upaya penting dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan ekonomi dan sosial masyarakat desa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran revitalisasi BUMDes sebagai layanan sosial di Desa Kertosari, Kecamatan Lumajang, Kabupaten Lumajang. BUMDes di Desa Kertosari telah berfungsi tidak hanya sebagai badan usaha yang menghasilkan pendapatan, tetapi juga sebagai sarana untuk memperkuat hubungan sosial antarwarga dan meningkatkan pelayanan publik. Melalui pendekatan partisipatif, revitalisasi BUMDes dapat menciptakan peluang ekonomi yang lebih luas, mengurangi ketimpangan sosial, serta memperkuat ketahanan sosial di tingkat desa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa revitalisasi BUMDes di Desa Kertosari memberikan dampak positif terhadap pemberdayaan masyarakat, terutama dalam hal peningkatan akses layanan sosial dan pemberdayaan ekonomi lokal. Dengan demikian, BUMDes dapat menjadi model yang efektif dalam pengelolaan layanan sosial berbasis masyarakat untuk desa-desa lainnya di Kabupaten Lumajang.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) program policy in achieving gender equality in Kumpay Village, Banjarsari District, Lebak Regency. The policy implementation refers to Presidential Regulation No. 59 of 2017 concerning the implementation of sustainable development goals aimed at promoting equitable human development and social welfare. The study focuses on how far the SDGs program has contributed to enhancing women’s participation in village development. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method with Edward III’s public policy implementation theory as its analytical framework. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with eight informants representing various community elements and were validated using triangulation techniques. The findings reveal that the implementation of SDGs in promoting gender equality in Kumpay Village remains suboptimal due to low public awareness and limited participation of women in development processes. This condition is influenced by persistent cultural perceptions that confine women’s roles to domestic spheres. The study recommends that both local governments and communities increase their awareness and involvement in promoting gender equality as a vital aspect of achieving sustainable rural development.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPAS. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran scramble dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SDN 257 Akkaliabatue. Penelitian ini menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) model Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Masing-masing siklus terdiri dari empat tahapan yaitu tahap perencanaan, tahap pelaksanaan, tahap pengamatan, serta tahap refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini siswa kelas IV yang berjumlah 18 siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus meliputi tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Instrumen yang digunakan terdiri dari tes hasil belajar, lembar observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa, serta dokumentasi. Kegiatan pembelajaran dalam model Scramble dilakukan melalui penyajian kartu atau lembar soal acak yang harus disusun siswa menjadi jawaban yang benar, baik secara individu maupun kelompok kecil

Abstract

This research aims to measure the effectiveness of using series of images to teach students writing skills in recount text in the tenth grade of MA Darul Ulum Ngabar Mojokerto academic year 2023/2024. The sample in this study was all 25 students of class XB, taken using a saturated sampling technique, so that the entire population could be used as a research sample in writing recount texts for tenth grade students at Madrasah Aliyah Darul Ulum Ngabar Jetis Mojokerto. Data collection in this research used pretest and posttest research instruments. The average value from the pretest was 58.48, while the average value after using images the series from the posttest was 81. Based on the results of the discussion above, it can be concluded that the picture series strategy is effective for the writing skills of class X students at MA Darul Ulum Ngabar for the 2023/2024 academic year.
