Abstract

This study aims to determine the water quality of the Cimarinjung River in the Ciletuh Geopark area, Ciwaru Village. The method used in the study was a survey method by taking samples at one location of Cimarinjung River water samples. The results of the study found that the water quality of the Cimarinjung River had some parameters that did not meet the standards required in the water quality standards in Government Regulation Number 22 of 2021 concerning the Implementation of Environmental Protection and Management (Appendix VI concerning Class 1 National Water Quality Standards). Shown by water quality in physical parameters, namely the total solids are sorted by 1369 mg/l which is not in accordance with the requirements (1000 mg/l). The water quality for chemical parmeter, chloride (Cl), was 9340 mg/l exceeding the required limit (300 mg/l). The quality of the biological parameter is APM Esherichia Coli 350 APM/100 ml which exceeds the required limit (100 APM/100 ml).

Abstract

This research aims to assess the effectiveness of inventory control applied by Mie Ayam Pahlawan in optimizing production costs and determining the economically optimal order quantity for raw materials, as well as minimizing the total inventory cost. The study employs a quantitative descriptive method, focusing on the company within a specific timeframe, gathering data and information relevant to the research objectives. Descriptive analysis techniques are utilized to analyze data related to raw material inventory control issues in efforts to reduce production costs, using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) and Period Order Quantity (POQ) methods. The findings indicate that the company can achieve cost savings by adopting the POQ method, where ordering costs are lower compared to the EOQ method or the current method employed by the company. The frequency of raw material purchases using the company's method is higher than the POQ method (Period Order Quantity).

Abstract

The processing of coconuts is not yet available in Tarakan City. Coconut production is quite high, but low demand poses a threat to the sustainability of the coconut plantation industry. Therefore, it is necessary to process coconut into products with high benefits and selling value, such as VCO (Virgin Coconut Oil). The processing of coconuts into VCO is relatively simple, making it a straightforward task. Therefore, this activity was carried out in collaboration with the partners of the Nurul Hikmah prayer group, a recitation group consisting of women in RT 5 Juata Kerikil Village, Tarakan, North Kalimantan. In addition to VCO production facilities, partners also need to be equipped with business management, business result analysis, and training related to marketing strategies so that production and sales activities can continue to be carried out continuously after the mentoring activities end. Community group empowerment activities are carried out in several stages, including socialisation, technology application, training, mentoring, and evaluation of activities. The target output of this activity is that partners will be able to apply the proper processing and packaging methods for VCO made from coconut. In addition, partners are also expected to conduct business analysis and effective marketing management. Through the training and mentoring activities conducted, results were obtained in the form of an increase in the understanding and skills of partners in processing and packaging coconuts into VCO. As well as improving the knowledge and ability of partners in conducting business analysis and marketing management needed in VCO's business processes.
