Abstract

Education in Indonesia has not been running well so it has not produced as expected. Education is the main component in efforts to produce a smart generation. This study aims to find out the Role of Education in the Formation of Elementary School Children's Character. The method used in this article is a literature study. Data collection techniques by obtaining from library sources, documents or previous scientific journals. Data processing techniques use techniques, namely: data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawn/verification. The results of the study show that (1) Character education is an education that seeks to direct and cultivate good personality values in humans so that they are moral, moral and ethical which are intended for the future. Character education is also needed to foster the basic abilities of students to think intelligently, behave morally, morally and do something good and useful. Personality formation is inseparable from how we shape a person's character. (2) Education at elementary school age is very necessary to build children's character. Because a person's character will determine his future in the future. Children's character from an early age must be formed so that children will have a good identity and outlook on life. Therefore, children's characters are built so that children have diverse experiences and good personalities.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of comic media on improving science literacy in elementary school students. A quasi-experimental design was used with two groups: an experimental group utilizing comic media and a control group employing traditional methods. Pretest and posttest assessments measured students' reading abilities in science. A t-test analysis was performed to compare the groups' performances. The findings indicate that students exposed to comic media showed significant improvement in reading abilities compared to those in the control group. These results suggest that comic media not only enhances student interest in learning but also improves information retention. The study recommends integrating comic media into the primary school curriculum to effectively boost students' science literacy

Abstract

The writing skills of fifth grade students at SDN Percobaan Kota Padang are still low. Most students in pouring stories into writing are a little overwhelmed in finding ideas. In addition, there is a lack of use of learning media in the classroom. This certainly makes the learning process hampered so that students cannot develop their ideas in writing. The purpose of this study in general is to test the use of podcast learning media to improve the writing skills of grade V students of SDN Percobaan Kota Padang. This study used a One-Group Pretest-Posttest experimental design. Data was collected from teacher and student activities. There were also tests related to the data collection method.
