Art in learning can provide emotional intelligence and self-control in students. One of the arts lessons in the Merdeka Curriculum is dance. Dance is a medium for communicating feelings for students which are expressed through rhythmic dance movements, giving rise to certain characteristics according to the quality of the rhythm that is displayed. The purpose of writing this article is to provide information on the concept of dance and integrate its use in learning. This writing uses a literature study methodology by analyzing articles related to dance in learning contained in the Google Schoolar data base. The art of dance in the world of education, especially elementary school education, is educational and has a strong positive impact. The art of dance in elementary schools does not require students to become professional dancers but to gain their own experience in dancing. Dance education essentially has a very strategic role in efforts to help create students who have sensitivity to multiple beauties, namely, feeling, thinking, speaking, acting and behaving.
