Abstract

The learning process still adheres to the conventional learning model, namely a teacher-centered learning process and during this time the students' ability to be active in the learning process and independent in learning has not been visible. Conventional learning considers teachers to be the only source of learning who is considered to be all-knowing. The reality at SD Negeri 1 Jambuwer shows that in Class VI many students experience difficulty in accepting the material provided and students tend to be passive in the learning process. This was reinforced by the teacher's observation that when the lesson started, many students were chatting to themselves, some were sleepy and it seemed they were bored with the lecture method. It is thought that this will affect students' active learning in the classroom. Departing from the problems above, the general formulation in this research is: The application of Audio Visual Media can increase the learning activity of Audio Visual Media students in Class VI of SD Negeri 1 Jambuwer. Meanwhile, the aim of this research is to find out whether the application of audio visual media to Asmaul Husna material can increase learning activity in class VI students at SD Negeri 1 Jambuwer. Researchers used a qualitative approach with the type of classroom action research (PTK). Techniques used in data collection include: observation and documentation. The stages of this research are in the form of a cycle which includes planning, implementation, observation and reflection, and is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle has one meeting. The results of the research prove that the application of audio-visual media can increase students' learning activity regarding Asmaul Husna material for Class IV SD Negeri 1 Jambuwer. The results of observations in the field show that students' learning activity increases each cycle. Overall, student learning activity from cycle I only reached 54%, then increased in cycle II to 81%. AbstrakSelama ini proses pembelajaran kita lihat masih menganut model pembelajaran konvensional, yaitu proses pembelajaran yang berpusat pada guru dan selama itu pula kemampuan siswa untuk aktif dalam proses pembelajaran dan kemandirian dalam belajar belum tampak. Pembelajaran konvensional menganggap guru adalah satu-satunya sumber belajar yang dianggap serba tahu. Kenyataan di SD Negeri 1 Jambuwer menunjukkan bahwa di Kelas VI banyak siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam menerima materi yang diberikan dan siswa cenderung pasif dalam proses pembelajaran. Hal ini di perkuat dengan pengamatan guru saat pelajaran dimulai banyak siswa yang ngobrol sendiri, ada yang ngantuk dan kelihatan sekali mereka merasa bosan dengan metode ceramah. Hal ini di duga akan mempengaruhi keaktifan belajar siswa di dalam kelas. Berangkat dari permasalahan di atas maka secara umum dirumuskan dalam penelitian ini yaitu: Penerapan Media Audio Visual dapat Meningkatkan Keaktifan Belajar Siswa Media Audio Visual di Kelas VI SD Negeri 1 Jambuwer. Sedangkan tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah penerapan media audio visual pada materi asmaul husna dapat meningkatkan keaktifan belajar pada siswa kelas VI SD Negeri 1 Jambuwer. Peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data antara lain: observasi, dan dokumentasi. Adapun tahapan penelitian ini berupa siklus yang meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi, dan dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Tiap siklus terdapat satu kali pertemuan. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa penerapan media audio visual dapat meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa materi asmaul husna Kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Jambuwer. Hasil observasi di lapangan menunjukkan bahwa keaktifan belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan setiap siklusnya. Secara keseluruhan keaktifan belajar siswa dari siklus I hanya mencapai 54% kemudian meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 81 %.

Abstract

Candida albicans is a normal microflora that lives in the human body, inculding in the oral cavity, skin, nails, respirator tract, and digestive tract. In the oral cavity, changes in the form of Candida albicans from commensel to pathogenic resulting in oral candidiasis are caused by predisposing factors, including disruption of the normal flora of the oral cavity due to long- term use of broad- spectrum antibiotics, excessive use of mouthwash, irritation due to the use of dentures, lack of maintaining oral hygiene, immune disorders due to diseases such as AIDS, Diabetes mellitus. The purpose of this study was to determine the results of oral candidiasis screening on the saliva of assisted citizens at the Sungguminasa Class IIA Women’s Correctional Institution. The samples used were saliva from assisted residents at the Sungguminasa Class IIA Women’s Community Institution. Saliva samples was screened for Candida albicans fungus by examination using the culture method for 3 – 7 days and continued with gram staining. Based on the research conducted, it can be concluded that from 10 (100%) samples obtained 7 (70%) positive samples of Candida albicans with a maximum number of colonies of 65 colonies and at least 2 colonies with an averge colony count of 22.71. While 3 (30%) samples were negative for Candida albicans. The conclusion of the screening results obtained showed that the samples that were examined and obtained positive resutls were said not to be infected with oral candidiasis, but the identified Candida albicans was still classified as normal flora in the oral cavity, this is because the number of colonies in the positive sampel <100 which showed no increase in colonies.
