Abstract

This study aims to find out how the Public Relations Service of PT PLN (Persero) North Makassar Customer Service Implementation Unit in Overcoming Customer Complaints (Prepaid Electricity Case Study). To achieve this goal, researchers use data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data obtained from the research results were processed using qualitative analysis to determine the Public Relations Service of the North Makassar Customer Service Implementation Unit in Overcoming Customer Complaints (Prepaid Electricity Case Study).The results showed that the Public Relations Service of PT PLN (Persero) North Makassar Customer Service Implementation Unit in overcoming customer complaints (prepaid electricity case study) based on service quality indicators Zeithmal-Parasuraman-et al (Pasolong 2013), namely Direct Evidence, Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, Attitude is good enough but still needs to be optimized on every indicator. This is evidenced by observations and interviews that have been conducted. Suggestions: 1) In improving promising services to customers, PLN North Makassar Customer Service Implementation Unit must provide good service so as to create customer satisfaction. 2) The issue of politeness and friendliness of officers towards customers is good and must be maintained and improved.3) Officers can create ease of communication with customers and provide information that is easy to understand.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the application of good governance principles in public services in Matakali District, Polewali Mandar Regency. The research method used in this study is qualitative descriptive method. Data sources are obtained from primary data and secondary data, data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. This research uses the theory of good governance principles from Sedarmayanti (2009) based on four indicators to measure the success of good governance principles, namely accountability, transparency, openness and the rule of law. The results of this study show that the application of good governance principles in public services in Matakali District, Polewali Mandar Regency is seen from 4 variables of the application of good governance principles, including: 1. The principle of Accountability has been implemented well, this shows that the officers have carried out their public service duties effectively and responsibly in Matakali District. 2. The principle of transparency in public services is divided into two criteria including ease of obtaining information, indicating that the public has not been able to get broad access to information due to the unavailability of technology-based information centers such as WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook or supporting websites in Matakali District; and Government openness in providing information services, indicating that the sub-district officials have provided information services openly in Matakali sub-district. 3. The principle of Openness is still not implemented optimally, this shows that there are still informants who do not know the existence of complaint boxes in Matakali District. 4. The rule of law shows that it has been carried out properly by carrying out duties in accordance with SOPs and without discriminating the services provided.

Abstract

This study aims to describe traditional leadership values in the Kajang customary community in Bulukumba. The research method used is descriptive qualitative and data collection techniques, in the form of: observation, interviews, and literature study. The research result showed that there are six traditional leadership values in Kajang custom community, such as: honesty, firmness, unity, simplicity, patience and care for the natural environment. The honesty value is the primary value that must be practiced in everyday life, likes honest to Turiek Akrana, honest to human beings, and honest to ourself. The firmness value must be owned by leader to do justice to many people. The unity value must be upheld as a sense of solidarity and life hormony ini society. The simplicity value must be realized in daily life according to the guidance of pasang. The patience value must be practiced, primarily to Ammatoa, to accept the fate from Turiek Akrakna. The care for natural environment value is a realization act in preserving the natural environment according to the guidance of pasang.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the accountability of village fund management in Anrihua Village, Kindang District, Bulukumba Regency. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data condensation, data presentation and withdrawal. The results of this research show that Village Fund Management Accountability is integrated with APBDes accountability including the Planning Stage in the Good Category, the Implementation Stage in the Fair Category, the Administration Stage in the Fair Category, the Reporting Stage in the Poor Category, and the Accountability Stage in the Fair Category
