Abstract

A web-based cooperative information system — accessible at any time via the internet — allows administrators and members to retrieve real-time financial data, automate transaction recording, generate periodic reports, and monitor loan and deposit statuses with measurable accuracy. At the Mera Ndi Ate Cooperative, however, member registration and financial data management are still conducted manually through ledger entries, producing recurring problems: duplicate records, transcription errors, vulnerability to physical data loss, slow reporting cycles, and underutilized computing infrastructure. A web-based system was therefore developed to support daily operations, accelerate service delivery, reduce recording errors, and improve financial transparency. The study adopted a descriptive qualitative approach and applied the Waterfall model as the system development methodology. The resulting Mera Ndi Ate Cooperative Information System covers the full operational cycle — from member registration to financial reporting — and is supported by a real-time dashboard connected to a centralized database that tracks deposits, loans, and installment payments. The system measurably improves data accuracy, access speed, and operational accountability, while also strengthening the cooperative's capacity for long-term financial governance.

Abstract

The BKPSDM of Central Sumba Regency previously managed all employee data through manual processes, producing administrative inefficiencies, redundancy risks, and persistent reporting delays. A web-based Personnel Management Information System (SIMPEG) was developed and deployed to digitize civil servant data management within the agency. The R&D methodology guided the study; data were gathered through in-depth interviews and direct field observation. The system was built using PHP, a MySQL database, and the Bootstrap framework for a responsive interface. The resulting application combines employee data CRUD operations, role-based access control, and personnel statistics visualization via Chart.js. Beyond automating report generation, the system provides an interactive dashboard supporting real-time analysis of employee composition. Strict relational database design ensures referential integrity across all data entities, while PHP session management enforces authentication at every access point. Field trials confirmed that all ten tested functions performed as expected. This deployment measurably advances administrative governance modernization, improves data accuracy, and accelerates strategic decision-making for regional leadership — marking concrete progress toward Central Sumba Regency's Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE) targets.

Abstract

KPU Kabupaten Sumba Barat Daya dalam pemilihan panitia pemilu sering menjadi kendala karena belum memiliki kriteria yang tepat dalam membuat keputusan. Maka dari itu, peneliti membangun sebuah aplikasi yang dapat membantu KPU Kabupaten Sumba Barat Daya dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan yang ada dengan mengunakan aplikasi yang berbasis komputer. Selain itu, aplikasi ini menggunakan metode profile matching dalam sistem pengambilan keputusan untuk seleksi panitia pemilu di KPU Sumba Barat Daya. Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan objektivitas, efisiensi, dan akuntabilitas proses seleksi agar menghasilkan panitia yang berkualitas dan mendukung pelaksanaan pemilu yang demokratis. Metode profile matching digunakan untuk mencocokkan kualifikasi calon dengan kebutuhan dan kriteria yang telah ditetapkan, sehingga proses seleksi menjadi lebih objektif dan transparan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem yang dikembangkan mampu membantu pengambilan keputusan yang lebih akurat dan adil, serta dapat disesuaikan sesuai kebutuhan. Dengan demikian, penerapan metode ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas proses seleksi panitia pemilu dan mendukung keberhasilan pelaksanaan pemilu yang demokratis di wilayah tersebut. Selain itu, hasil pengujian dari aplikasi ini berdasarkan 5 (lima) alternatif, didapati nilai GAP tertinggi adalah 4.775 dibandingkan dengan nilainya.

Abstract

The web-based Information System of the People's Welfare Service (DKR) of Southwest Sumba Regency is designed to improve efficiency in managing social welfare data and public services in the regency. This system is built using the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology, which includes seven main stages: planning, analysis, design, implementation, testing, maintenance, and evaluation. In the planning stage, system needs are identified to support various welfare programs, such as the distribution of social assistance and management of beneficiary data. The analysis stage focuses on collecting information to formulate system specifications that meet user needs. System design includes creating an intuitive user interface and an efficient database structure. Implementation is carried out by developing a web-based application that can be accessed by related parties to manage and monitor people's welfare programs. The testing stage aims to ensure that the system functions properly and according to needs. Maintenance is carried out periodically to ensure that the system continues to operate optimally along with the development of needs and technology. With the systematic implementation of SDLC, it is hoped that this system can improve data accuracy, transparency, and efficiency in managing social welfare programs in Southwest Sumba Regency.
