Abstract

Abstract

This study examines the digital transition in the student learning evaluation system at SMA Katolik Sint Pieter Waikabubak through the adoption of a Computer-Based Test (CBT) application. Although CBT has been in use since 2023, persistent issues — including unstable internet connections and limited exam monitoring features — have raised legitimate questions regarding its operational effectiveness. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of CBT in student learning assessments and to identify the factors that shape students' behavioral intention to use the system. A quantitative approach grounded in the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) was applied. The findings demonstrate that CBT adoption has measurably improved the transparency and accuracy of learning evaluations. Performance Expectancy, Effort Expectancy, Social Influence, and Facilitating Conditions each exert a statistically significant effect on students' intention to use CBT, with Perceived Usefulness emerging as the strongest predictor. Age and gender were found to moderate several of these relationships. The results indicate that adequate school infrastructure and an accessible application interface are decisive factors in the success of exam digitization. Schools are advised to continue strengthening their technical and physical support systems to sustain long-term adoption of this technology.

Abstract

A web-based cooperative information system — accessible at any time via the internet — allows administrators and members to retrieve real-time financial data, automate transaction recording, generate periodic reports, and monitor loan and deposit statuses with measurable accuracy. At the Mera Ndi Ate Cooperative, however, member registration and financial data management are still conducted manually through ledger entries, producing recurring problems: duplicate records, transcription errors, vulnerability to physical data loss, slow reporting cycles, and underutilized computing infrastructure. A web-based system was therefore developed to support daily operations, accelerate service delivery, reduce recording errors, and improve financial transparency. The study adopted a descriptive qualitative approach and applied the Waterfall model as the system development methodology. The resulting Mera Ndi Ate Cooperative Information System covers the full operational cycle — from member registration to financial reporting — and is supported by a real-time dashboard connected to a centralized database that tracks deposits, loans, and installment payments. The system measurably improves data accuracy, access speed, and operational accountability, while also strengthening the cooperative's capacity for long-term financial governance.

Abstract

While digital transformation has become a baseline expectation in modern school administration, correspondence archive management at Santa Maria Homba Karipit Catholic Senior High School remains entirely manual — producing measurable inefficiencies in document storage and persistent delays in data retrieval. Staff rely on physical logbooks and disconnected tools, with no centralized system to track letter histories or generate timely reports. This study designed and developed a web-based Correspondence Management Information System to digitize the school's administrative procedures. The methodology employed systematic requirements analysis, realized through Context Diagrams and Data Flow Diagrams (DFD) up to Level 2, alongside the design of a relational database. The resulting system integrates three user roles — Admin, Head of Administration, and School Principal — into a unified platform for managing incoming and outgoing letters and generating periodic reports. System testing across 24 test cases returned a 100% pass rate. Deployment reduced per-document processing time from fifteen minutes to two minutes, minimized the risk of physical archive loss, and provided school leadership with faster, more reliable access to correspondence records to support administrative decision-making.

Abstract

The BKPSDM of Central Sumba Regency previously managed all employee data through manual processes, producing administrative inefficiencies, redundancy risks, and persistent reporting delays. A web-based Personnel Management Information System (SIMPEG) was developed and deployed to digitize civil servant data management within the agency. The R&D methodology guided the study; data were gathered through in-depth interviews and direct field observation. The system was built using PHP, a MySQL database, and the Bootstrap framework for a responsive interface. The resulting application combines employee data CRUD operations, role-based access control, and personnel statistics visualization via Chart.js. Beyond automating report generation, the system provides an interactive dashboard supporting real-time analysis of employee composition. Strict relational database design ensures referential integrity across all data entities, while PHP session management enforces authentication at every access point. Field trials confirmed that all ten tested functions performed as expected. This deployment measurably advances administrative governance modernization, improves data accuracy, and accelerates strategic decision-making for regional leadership — marking concrete progress toward Central Sumba Regency's Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE) targets.

Abstract

Village fund management in Kahale Village faces persistent manual administrative challenges that have eroded public trust, largely due to restricted access to financial information. A web-based information system was developed to address these shortcomings and improve the transparency of village financial governance. The research employed a qualitative descriptive approach for field problem analysis, paired with the Waterfall model for structured software development. Findings indicate that the deployment of monitoring and dashboard features substantially digitized previously manual administrative processes. Report preparation and validation time dropped from three to five days to under twenty-four hours, with data updated in real time. The system also provides centralized digital document storage, which has simplified leadership verification and strengthened internal accountability. Each financial document must pass through a two-stage control mechanism — data entry by the admin and approval by the village head — before it is considered valid and accessible to the public. This digitization effort establishes a reliable foundation for accurate financial data presentation and offers a direct answer to the chronic inefficiencies of conventional record-keeping in supporting public transparency.
