Abstract

Teknologi informasi dan komunikasi menjadi pengaruh utama terjadinya perubahan pada setiap lini kehidupan masyarakat. Perpustakaan yang merupakan lembaga sosial harus mengikuti perubahan tersebut, yaitu dengan melakukan digitalisasi koleksi perpustakaan. Mewujudkan perpustakan digital ialah dengan tujuan untuk memberikan kemudahan dalam penyebaran informasi, penyimpanan informasi, dan kemudahan pengguna dalam mengakses informasi. Namun, untuk membangun perpustakaan digital bukanlah perkara yang mudah, banyak tantangan yang harus dijawab oleh pengelola perpustakaan terutama mengenai hak atas kekayaan intelektual. Makalah ini bertujuan untuk membahas tantangan dalam membangun perpustakaan digital tersebut, berdasarkan literatur dan beberapa hasil penelitian tentang perpustakaan digital.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penggunaan hashtag pada akun instagram Perpustakaan UGM, yang meliputi langkah-langkah dalam menentukan hashtag dan karakteristik hashtag yang digunakan. Terdapat lima karakteristik hashtag yang umum digunakan yaitu content-based hashtags, context-based hashtags, attribute hashtags, subjective hashtags, organizational hashtags.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Informan penelitian adalah pustakawan yang bertugas sebagai admin akun instagram Perpustakaan UGM. Data analisis menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Selanjutnya, dilakukan keabsahan data menggunakan teknik triangulasi.Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa langkah-langkah dalam menentukan hashtag dilakukan dengan cara berdiskusi bersama rekan/tim kerja. Kemudian ditetapkan apa saja kata kunci hashtag yang akan digunakan pada sebuah postingan. Selanjutnya, penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa hanya 2 karakteristik hashtag yang digunakan pada postingan instagram perpustakaan ugm yaitu content-based hashtags dan context-based hashtags.Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, penggunaan hashtag sudah ditentukan dengan langkah-langkah yang terstruktur. Akan tetapi, perlu diperhatikan kembali beberapa karakteristik hashtag untuk lebih mengoptimalkan penggunaan instagram Perpustakaan UGM.

Abstract

Background of Study: The library has an important role in supporting the process of education and research in a university. Students need a library as a place to study, discuss, work on assignments, or do research. But sometimes students who visit the library feel uncomfortable and confused about the condition they are facing that is usually known as library anxiety.Purpose: This study aims at identifying library anxiety among Graduate School Students in Gadjah Mada University, and examine several factors considered to affect library anxiety, namely barriers to service by librarians, affective, library comfort, knowledge of the library, mechanical/technological, information retrieval, regulation, resources.Method: This is aquantitative deductive research, using a survey approach. The population were Graduate School Students at Gadjah Mada University, with a total sample of 60 students taken by purposive sampling technique. Data were collected using questionnaires. The data were analyzed using smartPLS 3.0.Finding: The results showed that 95% of Graduate School students at Gadjah Mada University experienced library anxiety. There are 8 factors that affecting library anxiety of Graduate School Students in Gadjah Mada University, namely barriers to service by librarians, affective, library comfort, knowledge of the library, mechanic/technology, information retrieval, regulation, resources.Conclution: The library anxiety experienced by Graduate School students in Gadjah Mada University is 100% influenced by those 8 factors tested in this study.

Abstract

This service activity aims to provide understanding and training to school librarians in Pekanbaru City. A common problem for partners is that they do not have adequate skills in operating SLiMS 9 Bulian. This service activity is expected to increase the understanding and skills of school librarians in Pekanbaru City regarding the operation of SLiMS 9 Bulian. The output produced according to this activity plan is in the form of scientific articles. The method of implementing activities is counseling. Submission of material is carried out by lecturers who are members of the team that propose community service activities. Based on the results of this activity, it can be concluded that there is an increase in the understanding and skills of participants in operating SLiMS 9 Bulian. Although in this activity participants can not attend with the maximum online, disorders caused by internet network.

Abstract

Abstract

This service activity aims to provide understanding and training to Administrative Employees of Limbungan Village Office. A common problem with partners is that they do not have adequate skills in managing archives electronically. This service activity can improve the understanding and skills of the Administration employees in Limbungan Village Office. The outputs produced according to this activity plan are in the form of scientific articles. The method of implementing the activity is counseling. Submission of material is carried out by lecturers who are members of the team proposing community service activities. Based on the results of the pretest and posttest, it can be concluded that there is an increase in the participants' understanding of electronic archives and their management using a system, where this system will also assist in the retrieval of these archives.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to investigate author collaboration in library science journals accredited SINTA 2 (BIP, BACA, Khizanah, and JKIP) from 2019 to 2023, which includes the growth of articles with collaborative authorship, the level of collaboration, and collaboration index. This study applies bibliometric methods, which involve measuring authorship in a scholarly publication. Research data were collected by directly accessing the respective journal websites, and the data were processed using MS Excel to create tables and perform necessary statistical calculations.Based on the search results, 390 articles were found during the period of 2019-2023. These articles are distributed among the journals as follows: 108 articles in the BIP journal, 92 articles in the BACA journal, 114 articles in the Khizanah journal, and 76 articles in the JKIP journal. Data analysis results indicate that in the BIP, JKIP, and Khizanah journals, almost all articles were written with collaborative authorship, while in the BACA journal, only the majority of articles were written with collaborative authorship. The collaboration level values obtained for the journals are as follows: BIP journal: 0.81, BACA journal: 0.73, Khizanah journal: 0.76, and JKIP journal: 0.80, while the collaboration indices for BIP journal is 1.96, BACA journal is 1.86, Khizanah journal is 2.08, and JKIP journal is 2.25.The conclusion of this research is that articles with collaborative authorship are more frequently published bylibrary science journals accredited SINTA 2.

Abstract

Information systems are an important component in library management, so that they can maximize the services offered to users. However, in practice, the implementation of information systems will not be separated from problems that become obstacles in their use. This research aims to evaluate the implementation of the UMRI library information system based on the level of user satisfaction and interests. The method used is descriptive quantitative with the PIECES framework approach. The research population was active UMRI students who were registered as library members, with a sample size of 100 students. Research data was collected using questionnaires, and data analysis applied the importance-performance analysis (IPA) method. The research results show that the level of user satisfaction is in the quite satisfied category, with an average value of 3.14. The level of user interest is also in the quite satisfied category, with an average value of 3.18. Based on IPA analysis, the level of conformity between user satisfaction and interests is 98.78%, which means that the quality of UMRI library information system services is not in accordance with user needs. The two indicators that are the main priority for improvement are performance and service.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kecemasan pustakawan pada mahasiswa Unilak, tingkat kecemasan yang dialami, dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kecemasan tersebut. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode survei dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. responden penelitian ini berjumlah 60 mahasiswa yang diambil dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, dan data penelitian dianalisis menggunakan structural equation model (SEM) berbasis component atau variance dengan menggunakan metode partial least square (PLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada kecemasan perpustakaan pada mahasiswa Unilak, kecemasan yang dialami berada pada tingkat rendah. Kecemasan perpustakaan pada mahasiswa Unilak dipengaruhi oleh hambatan pelayanan pustakawan, hambatan kenyamanan perpustakaan, hambatan afektif, dan hambatan mekanis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini diambil kesimpulan bahwa hambatan dengan pustakawan merupakan faktor yang memiliki pengaruh paling besar, pihak perpustakaan disarankan untuk melakukan evaluasi terhadap pelayanan yang diberikan kepada pemustaka dan juga melakukan pembinaan terhadap kompetensi pustakawan dalam memberikan pelayanan maupun penyelenggaraan perpustakaan, yang bertujuan untuk mengurangi tingkat kecemasan perpustakaan terutama pada factor hambatan dengan pustakawan.
