Abstract

This paper discusses understanding the purpose of Islamic education in a multi, inter and transdisciplinary approach. This issue is very urgent, given the importance of understanding the teachings of Islam in a comprehensive manner. Islam as a religion does not only teach the realm of ubudiyah, but also mu'amalah. It is in the realm of mu'amalah that humanity is faced with the complexity of life problems that must be resolved. Especially in modern times like today, an approach from various scientific angles is needed. This research is in the form of library research with a qualitative descriptive approach. After the study, it is concluded that Islamic education is not just a transfer of knowledge, but also a holistic process that forms individuals with noble character. In the context of an increasingly advanced life, Islamic education as a scientific discipline cannot stand alone in solving problems in society. There is a need for multi, inter and transdisciplinary science, so scientific integration here is very necessary.

Abstract

School accreditation is a primary instrument in the educational quality assurance system. This study aims to analyze the concept of school accreditation, its legal foundation, and its scope within the schooling system. Using a qualitative approach with a library research method, this study examines various national policies, international reports, and contemporary literatures. The results indicate that school accreditation has shifted from a compliance-based approach to a performance-based evaluation designed to foster a quality culture. In Indonesia, the legal basis for school accreditation is strongly rooted in Law No. 20 of 2003 and Government Regulation No. 57 of 2021, executed by the independent body BAN-PDM. Furthermore, the scope of accreditation comprehensively covers the eight National Education Standards spanning input, process, output, and outcome dimensions. This study concludes that school accreditation is a strategic policy instrument that functions not only for formal recognition but also to drive continuous improvement and public trust.

Abstract

This article discusses the implementation of multidisciplinary, interdisciplinary, and transdisciplinary approaches in Islamic Education learning in Islamic Elementary Schools. Through a case study at SDIT Robbani Banjarbaru, this research aims to identify the practice of integrating Islamic knowledge and values in a holistic learning process. A qualitative method with a case study approach was used to deeply explore the dynamics of teachers, students, and the learning strategies implemented. The results of the study indicate that the integrative approach is able to encourage integration between religious knowledge and general knowledge, as well as shape students' character spiritually, intellectually, and socially. Furthermore, this study found that the application of multidisciplinary, interdisciplinary, and transdisciplinary approaches encourages the creation of a contextual, active, and enjoyable learning atmosphere. Teachers not only act as transmitters of knowledge, but also as facilitators, motivators, and role models who internalize Qur'anic values in each subject. In this way, students not only acquire cognitive knowledge but also experience the process of developing morals and life skills relevant to the challenges of the modern era.

Abstract

This study aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the school/madrasah accreditation mechanism, covering its basic concepts, stages and procedures, as well as the implementation and follow-up of accreditation results in an effort to improve the quality of education. This study employs a literature review method, examining various written sources such as legislation, accreditation guidelines, books, and relevant previous research findings. Data collection was carried out through documentary study using a text analysis approach, whilst data analysis employed content analysis to identify and categorise information related to the accreditation mechanism. The research findings indicate that accreditation functions not only as an administrative evaluation tool but also as an instrument for quality assurance and development in education through a systematic and continuous evaluation process. However, various challenges remain in its implementation, such as limited understanding of accreditation instruments, an administrative bias, and the suboptimal utilisation of accreditation results within the internal quality assurance system. Therefore, a comprehensive understanding and appropriate strategies are required to ensure that accreditation functions optimally as a means of improving the quality of education.
