Moreover, Palm Oil Free policy has been released which is prohibit to consume CPO. This will certainly have an impact on the price of CPO which will later have a relationship with the exchange rate and the JCI.The research aims to determine the relationship between CPO prices, exchange rates and JCI during the Palm Oil Free period. The research method is VECM. The period is conducted during from January 2017 to June 2021. The result of the research is the CPO price and the exchange rate have a positive relationship. Then, JCI and the CPO price have a negative relationship and the relationship between the exchange rate and the JCI is positive during the Palm Oil Free era. The implication shows that the government must be able to control the price of CPO considering that this variable can be related to other macroeconomic fundamentals such as the exchange rate and capital market index. Abstract

A global trade war is expected to impact the economy of every country. The purpose is to examine relationship between FDI, Exports and GDP during global trade war. It is hoped that the stakeholders, especially the government, can take the necessary actions. The research method used is VECM with quarterly analysis starting from 2010 to 2019. The result shows that there is a positive relationship between Exports and GDP in the short and long term. During the era of the global trade war, foreign investment will be more horizontal in nature with the aim of market sharing. Thus, there is a negative relationship between FDI with exports and GDP in Indonesia. The implication of this research is that the government must make policies that can attract FDI more vertically. Therefore, FDI will be prioritized for the exploration of inputs where output will be exported outward and GDP will also rise

Abstract

One of the economic problems in a country is controlling the inflation rate. The Government has the primary obligation to control the inflation rate accordingly. The purpose of this study is to discuss how the effect of food commodity prices and gasoline commodity prices on inflation rate movements during Jokowi's reign in the first term. The research method used is VECM with monthly analysis from October 2014 to September 2019.The results of this study find that the prices of all food commodities and gasoline commodities have a positive effect on the inflation rate. In addition, the movement of the inflation rate is most dominantly influenced by inflation itself, in other words, the most appropriate monetary policy in controlling the inflation rate. The implication of this research is that the prices of food and gasoline commodities must be controlled considering the inflation rate moves in line with the prices of these two commodities. The government can control the inflation rate by setting the reference interest accordingly because monetary policy has the most dominant influence on the inflation rate.

The research method used is panel regression analysis which then the model used is Fixed Effect Model (FEM). The results of this research show that only EPS can be used as a variable on the value of retail companies. Then profitability ratios can influence the value of retail companies but not the most dominant ones.

Abstract

This study aims to predict the effect of CPO (crude palm oil) prices or government policies such as BI 7days and CPO export taxes on palm cooking palm oil prices in Indonesia during the Palm Oil-Free labeling period. To address this research issue, this study uses the VECM method by implementing the Impulse Response Function (IRF) and variance decomposition approaches to analyze the research data. Further, the research period starts from January 2017 to April 2020. The study results show that CPO prices affect palm cooking palm oil prices positively. On the contrary, the government policies such as BI 7days and CPO export taxes negatively affect cooking palm oil prices during the Palm Oil-Free labeling period. Further, this study also informs that of all the determinant variables, CPO prices have the greatest response to the fluctuations in cooking palm oil prices. Thus, this study suggests the government to constrain raw material or CPO prices to reduce palm cooking palm oil prices in the domestic market.

Abstract

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to estimate the movement of the required yield curve as a reference to predict market expectations. The movement of the yield curve is caused by macroeconomics such as the BI rate, inflation, the money supply, the growth of the production index, foreign exchange reserves and foreign investor ownership. This study uses the help of a VAR (Vector Auto Regression) analysis tool or VECM (Vector Error Correction Model) using data from 2007:2-2016:3. The results of this study indicate that all variables both macroeconomic variables and liquidity variables provide a response to the yield curve of government bonds to long-term. In addition, this paper also explains that all variables both in macroeconomics and liquidity variables only have a small contribution to the yield curve but precisely the variable that makes the biggest contribution is the yield curve

Abstract

Indonesia is the world's largest CPO producer, which can positively impact its economic fundamentals. However, clearing new land for CPO farming will have an impact in the form of carbon emissions. The amount of carbon emissions can have an impact on the Indonesian economy as well. Thus, the study aims to predict the relationship between the amount of CPO production, carbon emissions, and GDP in Indonesia. The study uses the VAR method. The annual data starts from 1980 to 2020. PCPO and CO2 are positively related, especially in the long term. PCPO and GDP also have a positive relationship, especially in the long term. The relationship between CO2 emissions and GDP is also positive in the long term. In the short term, the three variables are related lucratively. The most significant relationship is between PCPO and CO2 emissions. Public interest statement Understanding the relationship between CPO production, carbon emissions, and GDP is necessary, considering that Indonesia is the largest CPO producer. As the largest CPO producer, it will impact the economy. It will also have an impact on the creation of carbon emissions. Therefore, it is necessary to understand how those variables are related
