Abstract

English proficiency plays a significant role in education, employment, and global communication. The TOEFL test is frequently used as an indicator to measure competence in listening, reading, speaking, and writing. This study aims to classify English proficiency levels based on TOEFL test data using the Decision Tree algorithm. The model was constructed by considering test scores and demographic attributes to obtain accurate predictions. Evaluation results showed that the model achieved an accuracy of 9.5%, precision of 9.1%, recall of 9.5%, and an F1-score of 9.1%. Although the model’s performance was relatively low, this approach can reveal certain patterns within the data that may serve as a foundation for developing more targeted English language learning strategies. This research contributes to the understanding of factors influencing TOEFL scores and provides recommendations for designing effective learning programs.

Abstract

Di era Globalisasi yang semakin berkembang saat ini perkembangan teknologi memberikan dampak yang besar bagi masyarakat terutama bagi remaja yang dapat menimbulkan berbagai dampak dari segi positif maupun negatif. Sosialisasi yang diberikan menggambarkan peran yang baik bagi Guru di Sekolah. Serta menanggulangi dampak negatif media sosial yang berkaitan dengan perilaku menyimpang pada remaja di Sekolah. Penanaman pemahaman penggunaan dan keamanan media digital untuk anak-anak dan remaja dinilai sangat penting karena konten yang masuk ke dalam jaringan Internet sangat bebas dan sulit disaring. Karena saat ini tingkat kejahatan dunia maya meningkat sangat tajam, seperti pornografi, penipuan, pencurian data, penyesatan opini, dan sebagainya. Berbagai potensi negatif tersebut mengintai pengguna Internet yang saat ini didominasi kalangan siswa/siswi. Peran Guru maupun masyarakat dalam membimbing siswa/siswi menjadi suatu hal yang penting agar para siswa/siswi tidak lagi salah dalam hal memanfaatkan media sosial sebagai sarana informasi yang bersifat luas. Untuk terhindar dari dampak-dampak negatif tersebut Guru bisa menjadikan sosial media menjadi bagian dari proses pembelajaran misalnya belajar menggunakan media youtube, agar tidak hanya digunakan untuk menonton film saja yang terkadang tidak sesuai usianya. Dengan begitu para siswa/siswi bisa dikontrol dalam membuka media sosial tersebut sehingga bisa memanfaatkan media sosial yang baik sesuai dengan usianya. Jika dalam kehidupan sehari-harinya lebih sering menggunakan media sosial yang negatif maka akan berpengruh dalam proses belajar menjadi tidak fokus dan hanya lebih sering menggunakan sosial medianya. Maka akan tercipta generasi-generasi yang kurang berkualitas.

Abstract

This study discusses the development of a web-based Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Information System at PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia, Tbk Witel Lampung-Bengkulu by integrating three main roles: Admin, Government Service, and Shared Service General Support. The main problem identified is that user data, regional data, project opportunities, marketing activities, customer data, customer interactions, and payment monitoring were still mostly managed manually using Microsoft Excel, which could cause data duplication, reporting delays, and input errors. This study applied the Agile method through planning, design, development, testing, deployment, and review stages. The system was developed using PHP with the Laravel framework, MySQL database, and Bootstrap to create a responsive user interface. The developed features include login, user management, regional data management, dashboard, Government Service project opportunity management, marketing activity records, customer data, interaction history, payment monitoring, filters, import, export, and user profile. System testing was conducted using Black Box Testing and User Acceptance Testing to ensure that each function met user requirements. The resulting system integrates administration, government sales, and customer collection processes into one platform, making data more centralized, monitoring faster, and reporting more accurate and well documented.

Abstract

The digital era demands that Senior High School teachers adopt new technologies to create interactive and effective learning media, yet the implementation of AI tools in schools remains low. This community service activity aims to enhance the competency of Senior High School teachers in developing learning media through training that utilizes AI tools, such as Canva AI and Gamma AI. The implementation method utilized a blended learning approach over one week (September 21–26), combining face-to-face sessions at the University of Lampung with self-paced learning supported by a Learning Management System. A total of 30 participants registered for the program, with 11 teachers completing the entire series of training activities. The comprehensive training module covered AI fundamentals, practical use of Generative AI, and the implementation of AI in material development and assessment. The evaluation results showed a significant increase in competency, with the average pretest score rising from 77.5 to 89 on the posttest. This improvement yielded an N−Gain value of 0.51 (medium category), confirming the program's effectiveness in transferring practical knowledge and skills. Thus, the training successfully equipped SMA teachers with the ability to leverage AI for efficiency and innovation, which is expected to enhance the quality of learning at partner schools.

Abstract

Salah satu prosedur medis yang umum dilakukan untuk menyelamatkan pasien adalah tranfusi darah. Suhu darah yang terlalu rendah atau tinggi dapat menimbulkan komplikasi medis, maka selama transfusi sangat penting untuk menjaga suhu darah pada tingkat yang tepat. Sehingga pada penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membantu mengatasi masalah tersebut dengan merancang dan mengembangkan kontrol temperatur pada alat blood infusion warmer berbasis mikrokontroler. Mikrokontroler merupakan pengendali utama karena dapat mempertahankan suhu darah pada rentang suhu yang aman(36-37 °C). Terdapat sensor suhu berfungsi untuk memantau suhu darah dan mengirimkan data ke mikrokontroler dan dilanjutkan pengaturan elemen pemanas. Selanjutnya untuk memudahkan dalam mengoperasikan perangkat maka alat ini juga dilengkapi dengan antarmuka pengguna yang mudah dipahami. Pada hasil pengujian mendapatkan bukti akurasi yang tinggi. Sehingga alat pemanas infus darah ini dapat mempertahankan suhu darah dalam batas yang diinginkan. Selanjutnya diharapkan alat ini dapat menjadi alternatif dalam membantu praktik medis secara efisien.

Abstract

The presence of weeds in lettuce cultivation areas can reduce plant productivity because they compete for nutrients, water, and light. Manual weed identification requires considerable time and effort, so an automated system based on computer vision is needed . This study proposes the integration of the YOLO11s model and the Segment Anything Model (SAM) to detect and segment lettuce plants and weeds in agricultural environments. The dataset used consists of 741 training images , 212 validation images , and 106 testing images with two object classes, namely Lettuce and Plantweed . The YOLO11s model was trained for 100 epochs using an image size of 640 × 640 pixels and a batch size of 106 . 16. The training results show that the model obtained an mAP@50 value of 87.8%. And mAP@50–95 was 80.0% , indicating good object detection capability. Furthermore, the bounding box coordinates of the detection results were used as prompts in the Segment Anything Model to generate mask -shaped segmentations that follow the object contours more precisely. The experimental results show that the integration of YOLO11s and SAM is able to produce more detailed object representations compared to detection using bounding boxes alone. This approach has the potential to support various precision agriculture applications, such as plant morphology analysis, leaf area estimation, and the development of automated weed control systems .
