Abstract

The importance of Intellectual Property Rights protection for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises is a major highlight in supporting the sustainability and economic competitiveness of this sector. IPR has great potential to add value to the products and services produced by MSMEs, create a competitive advantage, and protect innovations or brands from the threat of infringement. However, various obstacles such as complex administrative procedures, high costs, unsupportive regulations, and limited law enforcement related to IPR violations are significant challenges for MSME actors. Normative legal research in this context aims to identify solutions to these problems, through simplification of the registration process ensuring that IPR registration procedures are simpler and more accessible to MSME actors subsidising registration fees providing relief from IPR registration fees through government subsidies or fiscal incentives for MSMEs that register their IPRs improvement of regulations encourages revision of regulations that pay attention to the needs of MSMEs, such as accelerating the time of the registration process and recognition of IPRs for local or traditional typical products. Increased law enforcement encourages revision of regulations that pay attention to the needs of MSMEs, such as accelerating the time of the registration process and IPR recognition for local or traditional typical products. Socialisation and education are expected to educate MSME players about the strategic benefits of IPR and how to take advantage of the system to support their businesses. Policies that support MSMEs are more optimal in utilising IPR to increase competitiveness, open up opportunities for market expansion, and protect local innovation and creativity. Abstract

ABSTRACT Batik fractal is a modern batik made refer to the tradition motif combined with fractal visual in computational way. As an innovation in the arena batik Nusantara, batik fractal managed to integrate the digital technology with fractal visuality as a major milestone work design. It has produced a form of batik modern that play an important role in bringing batik Nusantara to face the global competition. This journal will discuss the relationship between batik fractal with batik tradition in the constellation batik Nusantara through the aesthetic comparative study. Abstract

As time goes by, many things are influenced, one of which is art. However, on the other hand, traditional arts in each region, especially in the field of art, have not been influenced by developments over time as significantly as Batik art in Indonesia, which has only been influenced by the materials and techniques for making it. Based on this, a design concept emerged for motifs, techniques and clothing applications that were newer and less monotonous. And these three things influence the design elements, namely shape, color and material in the components used. In this design the author wants to present a new batik motif with a new color technique and apply it to new clothing. By considering the aesthetic aspects of design, function and also the psychology of the user. The method used in this design is combining batik techniques with Surrealism visuals on batik motifs and using negative film coloring techniques which will be applied to Art Wear clothing. The aim of this design is to create batik motifs with destructive visuals (film negatives) with a surrealist style in Art Wear products. Keywords: Art wear, Batik, Destructive, Surreal

Abstract

Peranakan batik is the term for batiks produced by Indonesians of Chinese descent. The presence of Peranakan batik has contributed to the diversity and enriching of the Indonesian Batik repertoire. One of the centers producing Peranakan batik is Pekalongan. Peranakan batik in Pekalongan has its own uniqueness compared to other coastal batik. This uniqueness can be seen in the visualization of the motifs and the socio-cultural conditions of Pekalongan. This article examines the phenomenon of Peranakan batik in Pekalongan in terms of its visualization and aesthetic meaning. The approach used is Roland Barthes' semiotic theory. The focus of the reading is on three batik craftsmen of Chinese descent in Pekalongan, namely Oey Soe Tjoen, Ozzy, and Bulan. It is hoped that this article can provide information about the aesthetic elements of Peranakan batik in Pekalongan, as well as invite the public to better appreciate cultural diversity and the role of acculturation in the development of batik in Pekalongan. Abstract

The batik industry's dependence on conventional textile raw materials and production patterns that produce high waste (fast fashion) poses serious challenges to environmental and sustainability aspects. This Community Service (PkM) activity aims to facilitate the transition towards more environmentally friendly batik production in the Independent Women's Community. The implemented solutions focus on two main pillars: (1) Substitution of Conventional Media with Sustainable Natural Fibers and (2) Application of Zero Waste Fashion Principles in design and production. The PkM method involves intensive training, technical assistance, and demonstrations of batik making on natural fiber media (pineapple fiber) as well as zero waste cutting pattern design workshops. The results of the activity demonstrated a significant increase in partners' understanding and skills in processing natural fibers into high-quality batik materials, while also enabling them to design fashion products that minimize fabric waste to below 5%. This implementation successfully created a prototype batik product with high sales value, based on renewable materials, and aligned with green market demands. Overall, this Community Service Program not only increased the technical and economic capacity of the Independent Women's Group but also demonstrated that a sustainable and waste-free batik production model is realistic and feasible, making a real contribution to environmental preservation and the development of a responsible creative economy.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Pancasila values within the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs of PT Telkom Pekalongan, particularly those oriented toward environmental sustainability. The research is grounded in the urgency of integrating corporate social responsibility with the foundational philosophy of the state, which emphasizes a balanced interplay among social, economic, and environmental dimensions in sustainable development. Employing a qualitative method with a case study approach, the study seeks to obtain an in-depth and contextual understanding of the phenomenon. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, field observations, and documentation analysis of the company’s CSR initiatives. The findings demonstrate that the value of Divinity is reflected in the ethical commitment to environmental preservation, the value of Humanity is manifested in efforts to enhance public awareness of a healthy environment, the value of Unity is realized through multi-stakeholder collaboration, the value of Democracy is evidenced by community participation in planning and implementation processes, and the value of Social Justice is embodied in the equitable and sustainable distribution of program benefits. These findings affirm that the internalization of Pancasila values in CSR policies functions not merely as normative legitimacy but also as an effective institutional strategy for strengthening corporate sustainability governance and contributing substantively to sustainable development.
