Abstract

The attitude of loving oneself too much and having to be admired excessively is a condition that is considered a form of narcissistic attitude, tending to those who are too excessive in loving and admiring themselves often become a laughing stock for their social environment, because they display different patterns of behavior, too much. in appreciating themselves, those in the narcissistic category need praise and recognition in their lives, especially when using social media one of them they want to get good comments praising themselves and want to get lots of likes for what they post. This study aims to overcome excessive attitudes such as narcissism with a gestalt approach, one of which is the practice technique I am responsible for, the exercise technique I am responsible for can effectively help overcome narcissistic attitudes experienced by students, they are taught to be able to change their attitude responsibly and admit that they can overcome their narcissistic attitudes, so that narcissistic attitudes that sometimes like to ignore their environment can be changed by individuals who are affected by narcissism. With the research method of literature study based on articles that support and are in accordance with the narcissistic variable and the gestalt approach. The results of the study prove that narcissistic behavior can be overcome by using the gestalt approach, namely the practice technique I am responsible for with group counseling setting, namely group counseling

Abstract

Depression is a mood disorder that affects the way a person feels, thinks, or behaves which can interfere with social functioning and other activities. Depression can be triggered by biological, psychosocial or environmental factors such as traumatic events. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) approach to overcome depression. Writing is designed using the method of literature (library research). The result of this approach is that all the literature reveals consistent results, that the cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) approach is effective for dealing with depression. There are many studies showing that CBT is an effective therapy for treating depressive symptoms. Some literature also suggests that in treating depressive symptoms, CBT is comparable to the effects of medical drug therapy.

Abstract

Currently, there are many students who experience anxiety in public speaking. Meanwhile, public speaking is a skill that is needed by students, especially in the world of education. This speaking ability is needed so that students can convey what we feel and what we think, so that the ability to speak must be developed and also improved, as well as public speaking. In fact, not all individuals can have the ability to speak in public, because there are several obstacles experienced by individuals, one of which is anxiety in speaking. Anxiety about speaking itself is called reticence, an individual's inability to develop a conversation that is not caused by a lack of knowledge but due to the inability to convey messages perfectly, which is characterized by psychological and physiological reactions. The purpose of this study is to help individuals reduce public speaking anxiety by using a group approach. The type of research used is a literature study by utilizing articles and journals related to group counseling using transactional analysis to deal with anxiety in public speaking. The findings of this study reveal that using a transactional approach can help individuals to reduce anxiety in public speaking. One of the techniques used is speaking practice in group forums.

Abstract

This research describes approaches that can be used for single parents to shape their lives. The single parent referred to in this study is a woman or mother as a single parent. The facts that show that single parents have troubling problems are evident in financial, social, and parenting issues. This often results in women whose status as single parents are also responsible for changes in their lives, causing psychological disorders in single parents. One of the psychological disorders experienced is stress. The purpose of this study is to help reduce stress in single parent women by using a group approach. The method used in this research is literature study by utilizing articles, journals, books and supporting documents related to group counseling with the REBT approach in dealing with stress. The findings of this study reveal that using the rational emotive behavior therapy (REBT) approach by means of group counseling is effective in helping single parent women deal with stress.

Abstract

Children who have poor self-adjustment will find it difficult to establish relationships with friends, teachers and the school environment. As for some of the objectives of this study are to find out 1. An overview of the level of adjustment of high school students 2. The effect of the cognitive behavior therapy approach on the level of adjustment of students in high school. The results of the discussion show that self-adjustment has a very important role for students to be able to socialize with their surroundings and be able to take part in learning well. And students who lack self-confidence can be helped by group counseling with a cognitive behavior therapy approach. Where, CBT approach counseling is counseling that focuses on insight that emphasizes the process of changing negative thoughts and maladaptive beliefs that individuals have.

Abstract

Teenagers are often faced in real life with various problems that they cannot solve on their own so they need help from other parties. Problems that often occur in adolescents are usually related to decisions regarding the type of education to be pursued, which in turn leads to decisions regarding the type of work to be pursued in the future, as well as future career planning and information regarding existing work groups that meet the necessary requirements. . Adolescence is the most formative period, particularly in terms of the capacity to choose paths into adult life and the possibility of employment at the risk of developing into adolescence, accompanied by the need to begin preparing for future jobs. Group counseling services are types of services that can assist youth in overcoming obstacles that prevent them from reaching career maturity. Relevant literature reviews are used as an approach, and are supported by the findings of a number of papers, journals, books and other supporting documents. One approach from group guidance services that can help with career maturity problems is the Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) approach. Cognitive Behavior Therapy is effective in increasing career maturity.

Abstract

The background of this article is the earthquake victims who experienced Post Traumatic Stress Disorder after the disaster. Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) is a counseling approach that focuses on improving cognitive deviance due to events that harm him both physically and psychologically. This counseling will be directed at modifying the functions of thinking, feeling, and acting, by emphasizing the brain as an analyzer, decision maker, asking questions, acting, and deciding again.
