Abstract

Digital marketing not only makes it easier for MSMEs to display their products to consumers but also expands their customer base. The limited knowledge of business actors, generally adults to old age, causes many businesses to experience setbacks and are forced to stop their business because they cannot compete in marketing. Therefore, training and assistance related to digital marketing need to be carried out to provide solutions for business actors so they can survive. This activity is a collaborative community service program between IBI Kesatuan (IBIK) with Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) and Bogor City MSMEs. The result of this activity is increased insight from business people regarding the use and use of digital platforms and other knowledge related to the requirements for selling products overseas.

Abstract

The community service collaboration program between IBI Unity (IBIK) and Mara Technology University (UiTM) and Cibuluh Batik Village has been carried out through training activities for the Cibuluh Batik Village MSME group. In this activity, it was found that the UMKM group in Kampung Batik Cibuluh was still experiencing problems in terms of streamlining production costs through suppressing production raw material costs and the inability of business actors to use available technological resources such as social media and online shopping applications (e-commerce). This activity was carried out to help residents of Kampung Batik Cibuluh as one of the MSME groups in solving their problems, especially in terms of determining production costs and marketing products digitally. Based on a survey on the effectiveness of MSME governance and the training conducted, the results obtained were that most business actors were parents and did not have sufficient experience which was the main reason for the implementation of production cost calculations that had not been maximized. In addition, problems related to digital marketing still require further training.

Abstract

Villages are the main focus of state development, with managing village funds becoming a crucial issue. Law Number 6 of 2014 concerning Villages sets the state's goal to protect and empower villages to become firm, advanced, independent, and democratic. An Independent Village is a developed village that can lead development by paying attention to economic and ecological resilience. Good village financial management and village independence are crucial to improving the community's economy. Villages' main challenges involve managing complex data, limited resources, and changing organizational culture. The use of technology, efficient public financial management systems, training, and participation of civil society organizations are proposed as solutions to overcome these challenges. The Kesatuan Business and Informatics Institute is collaborating with the local government of Tanah Bumbu, South Kalimantan, to increase insight regarding public financial management and develop village potential. The IBIK PkM team provides solutions in the form of (1) assistance regarding accountable public financial management, and (2) socialization of the Systematic & Integrated Village (DE Siti) application. Partners were invited to conduct a field visit to The Thematic Perca Village and organic waste management (Siliwangi Waste Bank Unit).
