Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan formulasi nutrisi  AB-Mix, pupuk organik cair dan pupuk hayati pada sistem hidroponik tetes untuk tanaman tomat ceri. Penelitian dilakukan di screen house di Dusun Gunungmalang, Kecamatan Serang, Kabupaten Purbalingga pada ketinggian 1400 m dari permukaan laut pada bulan Agustus – September 2020. Perlakuan dicoba yaitu P1(100% dosis AB-Mix), P2 (75% dosis AB-Mix + POC + pupuk hayati), P3(50% dosis AB-Mix + POC + pupuk hayati), P4 (25% dosis AB-Mix + POC + pupuk hayati), dan P5 (0% dosis AB-Mix + POC + pupuk hayati). Rancangan perlakuan yang digunakan yaitu rancangan acak kelompok (RAK) dengan 6 ulangan. Variabel yang diamati adalah tinggi tanaman dan jumlah cabang. Hasil peneltian menunjukkan formulasi nutrisi 75% AB Mix + POC + Pupuk Hayati dapat digunakan untuk mengurangi penggunaan nutrisi AB-mix pada budidaya tomat ceri sistem hidroponik tetes pada media cocopeat. Kata kunci: formulasi nutrisi, hidroponik tetes, tomat ceri

Abstract

The study aims at getting the right media and the appropriate varieties for cherry tomato production using hydroponic drops in lowland areas, doing a vecial experiment with 2 factors: planting media and variety. The plant medium is cocopeat, chaff and ferns. The varieties used were Red Ruby, Rojita, and Juliet. The environmental design used is the random design of the group of 3 variable reenactments observed being the height of the plants, the diameter of the bar, the volume of the root, the weight of the fresh root, the weight of the fresh header, the weight of fresh brash and the bushy weight of the data plant that is obtained is analyzed using a variegated analysis at 5% error. If different is real then the analysis is carried out using the smallest real difference analysis at the point of error 5% to find out the difference between treatments. The conclusion of the study is 1) the production of cherry tomatoes in the lowlands USES the hydroponic system of drops affected only by varieties and 2) the Rojita is the best variety for harvesting cherry tomatoes using drip hydroponics compared with red ruby and Juliet.

Abstract

Biological control of plant pests is an eco friendly controlling way with consideringeco-friendly of agroecosystem. Biological control does by usithe ng natural enemies introduced from the area and other areas. Biological control of plant pests can used by predators, parasitoids, and entombe opathogens. Identification of entomopathogenic fungi did at the integrated laboratory, Nahdlatul Ulama University, Purwokerto. The research method used is purposive sampling. Entomopathogenic fungi were identified and observed for macroscopic and microscopic characteristics. This study aims to determine the entomopathogenic fungi found in the corn cultivation center, Sumbang District, Banyumas Regency. The results of the study found there was Aspergillus spp in the corn cultivation center, Sumbang District, Banyumas Regency. Aspergillus spp was found to infect Spodoptera frugiperda. Aspergillus spp is reported can infect various types of insects so that it is effective in pest control.

Abstract

Tomat ceri merupakan jenis sayur yang dapat dibudidayakan dengan metode konvensional di dataran tinggi.  Seiring bertambahnya permintaan, pola budidaya tomat ceri hidroponik mulai dikembangkan budidaya dengan teknik hidroponik di dataran rendah. Pertumbuhan tomat ceri dengan teknik hidroponik tidak lepas dari serangan patogen. Salah satu patogen Phytopthora infestans yang menyerang tomat ceri yaitu atau dikenal sebagai penyakit hawar daun bakteri. Penyakit ini dapat menyebabkan kematian pada tanaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan formulasi dosis pengurangan AB-Mix dengan substitusi menggunakan pupuk organik cair dan pupuk hayati dalam menghambat patogen P. infestans. Metode pelaksanaan penelitian menggunakan rancangan lingkungan Rancangan Acak Kelompok terdiri dari 5 perlakuan yaitu P1(100% dosis AB-Mix), P2 (75% dosis AB-Mix+POC+pupuk hayati), P3 (50% dosis AB-Mix+POC+pupuk hayati), P4 (25% dosis AB-Mix+POC+pupuk hayati), P5(0% dosis AB-Mix+POC+pupuk hayati).  dengan 6 ulangan. Variabel yang diamati yaitu gejala serangan, masa inkubasi, intensitas penyakit, dan efektivitas penghambatan. Penyakit hawar daun bakteri pada tanaman tomat ceri yang disebabkan oleh patogen P. infestans memiliki ciri-ciri bercak coklat kehitaman pada daun, kemudian menyebar pada ranting dan batang. Gejala lanjut akan menyebabkan daun busuk dan akhirnya mengering. Penggunaan perlakuan mampu menunda masa inkubasi. Perlakuan P5 memiliki intensitas penyakit terendah yaitu 8,51% dan efektivitas penghambatan 81,21%. Hal ini berarti dengan pengurangan pupuk AB-Mix dan penambahan POC serta pupuk hayati pada sistem hidroponik efektif dalam menurunkan gejala penyakit hawar daun bakteri.

Abstract

Dalam upaya meningkatkan ketahanan masyarakat pasca pandemi Covid-19, perlu dilakukan upaya dalam kemandirian rumah tangga untuk dapat mencukupi kebutuhan dapur dengan memanfaatkan lahan yang ada di sekitar tempat tinggal. Ketahanan pangan keluarga akan terbentuk ketika kebutuhan dapur mampu dicukupi dengan hasil yang didapat tanpa dengan membeli. Metode yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan ini yaitu dengan ceramah dan praktek langsung. Kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat dilakukan Bersama tim dari Program Study Agroteknologi, Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Purwokerto. Sasaran kegiatan ini adalah Ibu Rumah Tangga warga anggota Dawis Mawar, Rt 2, Rw 7, Kelurahan pasir Kidul, Purwokerto Barat, Banyumas. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan ceramah secara langsung mengenai budidaya sayur hidroponik dan praktek. materi dan praktek yaitu pembibitan, perawatan, panen, serta pasca panen. Management budidaya sayur sangat penting dilakukan dalam proses budidaya sayur hidroponik, untuk konsumsi keluarga maupun skala komersil. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan anggota Dawis Mawar 2 mengenai pemanfaatan lahan sempit untuk budidaya sayur hidroponik.

Abstract

Downy mildew control with synthetic fungicides adversely affects it. The use of biological agents is an alternative because it is safer and environmentally friendly. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of seed treatment using biological agents on corn seed viability, downy mildew and plant growth. Group Randomized Design (RAK) research method with three treatments and repeated 9 times. The treatment is K (without treatment), B (Bacillus subtilis and B. polymixa) and T (Trichoderma hamatum). B and T treatments were able to increase the viability of corn seeds as well as the length of roots and headers. Treatment B was more able to suppress the incidence and intensity of downy mildew compared to control and T. Treatment of the two biological agents was able to increase the number of leaves of corn plants and was not able to increase plant height, stem diameter and plant root weight.
