Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran public speaking dan gabaran motivasi belajar mahasiswa pendidikan agama islam STAIN Majene serta pengaruh public speaking terhadap motivasi belajar mahasiswa Pendidikan Agama Islam STAIN Majene. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif korelasional dengan jenis penelitian ex post facto atau kausal komparatif dengan membagikan kuesioner kepada mahasiswa Pendidikan Agama Islam STAIN Majene yang difokuskan pada jenjang semester III. Penelitian ini dilakukan di STAIN Majene. Jumlah populasi sebanyak 171 dan subjek penelitian sebanyak 121 mahasiswa dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan sample random sampling. Analisis data pada penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan; 1) public speaking mahasiswa pendidikan agama islam STAIN Majene berada pada kategori sedang dengan persentase 36,66%, 2) motivasi belajar mahasiswa pendidikan agama islam STAIN majene berada pada kategori sedang dengan persentase 42,5%, dan 3) terdapat pengaruh public speaking terhadap motivasi belajar mahasiswa Pendidikan Agama Islam STAIN Majene dengan nilai t-hitung sebesar 6,779 > 1,657 dan hasil signifikan sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of public speaking and learning motivation of Islamic education students of STAIN Majene and the effect of public speaking on learning motivation of Islamic Education students of STAIN Majene. This research is a correlational quantitative research with ex post facto or causal comparative type of research by distributing questionnaires to Islamic Education students of STAIN Majene which is focused on the third semester level. This research was conducted at STAIN Majene. The population was 171 and the research subjects were 121 students with sampling techniques using sample random sampling. Data analysis in this study was simple regression analysis. The results of this study indicate; 1) public speaking of Islamic education students of STAIN Majene is in the moderate category with a percentage of 36.66%, 2) learning motivation of Islamic education students of STAIN Majene is in the moderate category with a percentage of 42.5%, and 3) there is an effect of public speaking on learning motivation of Islamic Education students of STAIN Majene with a t-count value of 6.779> 1.657 and a significant result of 0.000 <0.05. This shows that H1 is accepted and H1 is significant. This shows that H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of learning motivation and parental attention on the biology learning outcomes of science class students at Komodo State High School. This type of ex-post facto research is quantitative descriptive. The independent variables in this research are learning motivation (X1), parental attention (X2) while the dependent variable is learning outcomes (Y). The sample for this research was 206 students in class X and XI Science at SMA Negeri 1 Komodo using a supportive random sampling technique. This research was carried out in August - September 2024. The research data was obtained using a questionnaire on learning motivation and parental attention. The data analysis technique is analysis (descriptive statistics) with the help of the SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Science) version 25 for Windows program. Based on the results of inferential statistical analysis, a significance value of 0.000 <0.05 was obtained. It can be concluded that learning motivation and parental attention have a positive and significant effect on the biology learning outcomes of class X and XI IPA students at SMA Negeri 1 Komodo.

Abstract

The critical thinking skills of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 4 Majene are still relatively low, as seen from the lack of responses to teacher questions, difficulties in understanding the material, and less conducive classroom behavior. The purpose of this study was to optimize critical thinking skills through the application of the RICOSRE-FC learning paradigm with Wordwall media. The research employed Kemmis and Taggart's spiral model of Classroom Action Research (CAR) model in two cycles, which included the stages of observation, reflection, action, and planning. A total of 19 students were involved. The data collection instrument was a critical thinking skills questionnaire analyzed using a score scale and percentage. The results showed an increase in completeness from 78.95% in the pre-action to 89.47% in cycle I, then increased again to 94.74% in cycle II. A total of two students in cycle II were categorized as very high, while the low category decreased. The most prominent indicator was Elementary Clarification, which showed students' ability to explain simply. The application of the RICOSRE-FC model assisted by Wordwall has proven effective in creating interactive and reflective learning, thereby empowering students' critical thinking skills.
