Abstract

This community service program aimed to develop tourism strategies that could enhance the attractiveness of the Siwalangan Waterfall tourist spot in Kindingan Village, Hulu Sungai Tengah Regency. Various activities were conducted, including aligning perceptions, researching tourism development strategies, training in digital marketing, creating local craft outlets, hosting a tourism festival, and producing a short film to promote the village's tourism potential. The digital marketing training was designed to introduce modern promotional techniques to the community, to increase tourist appeal. Additionally, the establishment of local craft outlets aimed to support the village's creative economy. The results of this program indicated an increase in the community’s knowledge about digital marketing and awareness of the importance of sustainable tourism management. Moreover, the availability of supporting facilities and promotion through digital marketing successfully broadened the exposure of Siwalangan Waterfall's tourism potential, which is expected to attract more visitors. However, challenges encountered during the program ismplementation included a lack of awareness among some community members about the sustainability of tourism. To address this, further programs focused on education and enhancing community participation in tourism management are necessary to optimally and sustainably maximize the village's tourism potential. This program lasted for 58 days, utilizing a live-in participatory approach, whereby the team resided in the village throughout the service and were actively engaging in community activities beyond the program itself.

Abstract

Hak Asasi Manusia (HAM) adalah hak dasar yang melekat pada manusia secara kodrati dan bersifat universal. HAM tidak dapat dicabut dan harus dilindungi, dihormati, dan dipertahankan. HAM memiliki beberapa ciri, yaitu: Bersumber dari martabat manusia atau Tuhan, Tidak dibatasi oleh batas negara, Saling bergantung dan melengkapi, Mendorong tindakan yang dilandasi kesadaran dan tanggung jawab. HAM di Indonesia bersumber dari Pancasila dan dijamin oleh falsafah bangsa. HAM di Indonesia harus dilindungi, dihormati, dan ditegakkan untuk meningkatkan martabat kemanusiaan, kesejahteraan, kebahagiaan, kecerdasan, dan keadilan. HAM dapat dibedakan menjadi beberapa jenis, seperti: Hak-hak asasi pribadi, Hak-hak asasi ekonomi, Hak-hak asasi politik, Hak-hak asasi sosial dan kebudayaan, Hak-hak asasi untuk mendapatkan perlakuan yang sama dalam hukum dan pemerintahan.

Abstract

Pancasila sebagai filsafat bangsa Indonesia berfungsi sebagai dasar ideologis, etis, dan normatif dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat, berbangsa, dan bernegara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis Pancasila dalam kerangka filsafat, khususnya sebagai sistem nilai yang melandasi kebijakan, hukum, dan kehidupan sosial di Indonesia. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kajian literatur dengan menyoroti elemen-elemen utama Pancasila, yakni ketuhanan, kemanusiaan, persatuan, demokrasi, dan keadilan sosial, dalam konteks filsafat politik, etika, dan budaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pancasila tidak hanya merepresentasikan identitas nasional, tetapi juga mengandung prinsip-prinsip universal yang relevan untuk menjawab tantangan global. Dengan menempatkan Pancasila sebagai filsafat hidup, bangsa Indonesia memiliki landasan moral dan etis untuk mewujudkan tatanan kehidupan yang harmonis, adil, dan sejahtera. Studi ini menegaskan pentingnya penguatan pemahaman filosofis terhadap Pancasila guna memastikan implementasinya yang lebih konsisten dan efektif di berbagai bidang kehidupan.

Abstract

Kindingan Village has a population of 719 people with a percentage of 99% earning a living as farmers and planters. The condition of the community that is too dependent on nature in any aspect over time turns into a serious problem. In the past few years, problems have often occurred, one of which is that several times the community has experienced crop failure which has a huge impact on them. This is caused by extreme weather and the season that is always transitional. Therefore, the service team proposed a program inspired by the potential of basket weaving skills by the Kindingan Village community which was then implemented into a program called “Rumah Kreatif”. Where we as a team of servants conducted the formation of basket production groups and socialization of online marketing with the community. The program implementation applied a participatory approach. In an effort to build community participation, the service team applies the live-in method, which is living in the village during the implementation of the service and actively involved in community activities outside of the service program. The duration of the program implementation is 58 days, starting from July 18, 2024 to September 13, 2024. The results achieved from the implementation of this service program are the creation of new jobs outside the agricultural sector, so that it is expected to increase income. Long-termimpact is expected in the form of improving the village economy through the sustainability of creative businesses managed by the local community.

Abstract

The critical thinking skills of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 4 Majene are still relatively low, as seen from the lack of responses to teacher questions, difficulties in understanding the material, and less conducive classroom behavior. The purpose of this study was to optimize critical thinking skills through the application of the RICOSRE-FC learning paradigm with Wordwall media. The research employed Kemmis and Taggart's spiral model of Classroom Action Research (CAR) model in two cycles, which included the stages of observation, reflection, action, and planning. A total of 19 students were involved. The data collection instrument was a critical thinking skills questionnaire analyzed using a score scale and percentage. The results showed an increase in completeness from 78.95% in the pre-action to 89.47% in cycle I, then increased again to 94.74% in cycle II. A total of two students in cycle II were categorized as very high, while the low category decreased. The most prominent indicator was Elementary Clarification, which showed students' ability to explain simply. The application of the RICOSRE-FC model assisted by Wordwall has proven effective in creating interactive and reflective learning, thereby empowering students' critical thinking skills.
