Abstract

This research aims to explore the effect of implementing a data-based learning model on employee performance at the Steam Power Plant Company, a service company. The research method used was a quasi-experimental design with two groups, namely the experimental group that received data-based learning model intervention and the control group that did not receive the intervention. Data was collected through pre-test and post-test, and analyzed using t-test, ANOVA test, and regression test. The results show that the data-based learning model is effective in improving employee performance, with significant improvements seen in data analysis, problem solving, decision making, and communication skills. The implications of this research include increasing productivity, competitiveness and employee retention, as well as strengthening the company's reputation as a workplace that supports employee development

Abstract

Penelitian ini fokus pada potensi ekspor Indonesia sebagai salah satu negara terbesar di dunia, diperkuat oleh industri kreatif dan beragam perusahaan dengan produk berkualitas yang siap diekspor. Perusahaan dihadapkan pada tuntutan untuk berinovasi, menjaga kualitas produk, meningkatkan daya saing, dan efisiensi di berbagai bidang. Salah satu solusi yang diajukan adalah penerapan manajemen logistik, di mana disiplin ilmu ini memainkan peran krusial dalam sistem manufaktur perusahaan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis dampak penerapan sistem manajemen logistik terhadap nilai ekspor sebagai strategi menjaga stabilitas ekonomi di tengah resesi global. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif, dengan pengumpulan dan rekapitulasi data yang disajikan dalam bentuk angka, dijelaskan secara komprehensif. Pengolahan data menggunakan SPSS 25, dengan uji statistik regresi berganda dan uji t pada tingkat signifikansi 005%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan sistem manajemen logistik dinilai efektif dalam meningkatkan nilai ekspor Indonesia, memberikan kontribusi pada stabilitas ekonomi di masa resesi global. Penelitian ini mengamati kinerja perusahaan yang menerapkan sistem logistik dan membandingkannya dengan yang tidak, menghasilkan kesimpulan positif terkait dampak positif sistem ini terhadap kinerja ekspor dan stabilitas ekonomi secara keseluruhan.

Abstract

Surabaya is the center of a growing manufacturing industry that always strives to improve the quality of its products. One company that faces serious problems is PT. BKI, which faces a high rate of innerbox defects with potential negative impact on product quality. The study used Six Sigma methodology to identify and address the root cause of innerbox defects within two months. The results of the analysis show that the main causes of innerbox defects include structuring, material, management, environmental problems, as well as improper assembly methods. The proposed solution involves the use of duplex-type cardboard materials, improved assembly techniques, regular machine maintenance, and environmental control. The use of stripping bands instead of duct tape on innerbox packaging is an effective improvement. The implementation of control for two months showed an increase in sigma value from 2.94 to 2.83. The Six Sigma approach is proven to provide a systematic analytical foundation for significant improvement. The results help PT. BKI in improving quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi proses pemuatan barang di Regional Distribution Center (RDC) Pati, Jawa Tengah, yang merupakan bagian dari Garudafood Group. Proses pemuatan container 40ft yang sebelumnya memakan waktu rata-rata 3 hingga 4 jam, menyebabkan masalah seperti antrian truk, sirkulasi barang yang terganggu, dan biaya operasional yang meningkat. Untuk itu, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan lambatnya proses pemuatan dan merumuskan solusi yang dapat mempercepat waktu loading. Metode yang digunakan meliputi observasi langsung, wawancara dengan staf warehouse, serta analisis menggunakan fishbone diagram untuk mengidentifikasi akar penyebab masalah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tiga faktor utama penyebab waktu loading yang lama adalah barang yang dibongkar di ujung kendaraan, roda handpallet yang tersendat, dan operator yang harus memindahkan barang secara manual dari pintu box truck ke depan truck. Berdasarkan temuan ini, dilakukan implementasi perbaikan berupa pembuatan papan jembatan untuk mengatasi perbedaan ketinggian lantai gudang dan truck, serta penjadwalan perawatan rutin untuk handpallet. Setelah perbaikan diterapkan, waktu loading rata-rata dapat dipangkas menjadi 2 jam, mengurangi keluhan operator dan pengemudi, serta meningkatkan efisiensi operasional secara keseluruhan

Abstract

The rapid expansion of the e-commerce sector has imposed considerable demands on Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) to enhance the operational efficiency of their logistics warehouses. This study aims to improve organizational performance and employee well-being at Tokonekoncoku, a logistics UMKM, through an ergonomic workplace redesign. The research employs the Define, Measure, Analyze, Design, Verify (DMADV) methodology, emphasizing Critical to Quality (CTQ) parameters to ensure that the proposed interventions are both contextually relevant and quantitatively measurable. The CTQ priorities identified include operational time efficiency, productivity enhancement, and workforce satisfaction. By systematically implementing ergonomic principles—encompassing layout reorganization and workstation modifications—the study demonstrates a significant improvement in the efficiency and comfort of the work environment. The findings underscore that the integration of ergonomic design within the DMADV framework offers a robust approach to simultaneously advancing operational performance and promoting worker well-being in UMKM logistics settings.

Abstract

Irregularities in truck queueing during the loading process at the Finished Goods Warehouse Department of PT. SGB have led to repeated complaints from logistics partners, disrupting operational efficiency and damaging the company’s reputation. This study aims to identify the root causes of the issue and propose corrective actions using the Theory of Constraints (ToC) approach. The methods employed include direct observation, in-depth interviews, and structured brainstorming sessions. The analysis revealed three main root causes: the absence of updated queue information for drivers, lack of a standardized document verification procedure, and unavailability of clear priority loading information. The implemented solutions consisted of queue information boards, a ticketing system managed by security personnel, and strengthening the role of warehouse team leaders in communication and oversight. Evaluations conducted from June to February 2025 showed a significant reduction in complaints, improved queue discipline, and decreased overtime costs. This study recommends standardizing operating procedures (SOPs), conducting regular training sessions, and adopting a digital queuing system as a long-term sustainability strategy.
