Abstract

AbstractThe aims of this research are to determine and decribe the use of teacher-madelearning videos on trigonometry material. This research was conducted in classx science 1 and x science 2 at SMAN 10 Pontianak. In doing the reseacrh thewriter used descriptive qualitative method. The techniques of data collectionsthat used in this research were interviews, observation, and written tests. Thetechnical analysis of data in this research is to reduce the data that has beenobtained, present the data, and draw the conclusions. The subject in thisresearch was a teacher and 63 students. The results of this analysis showed thatthe use of learning videos is still not optimal. In making learning videos, thereare 3 stages namely preparation, manufacturing process, and finalmanufacture. While in the learning process there are still many students whoare less active and in the 2013 curriculum students are required to be active.As well as on student learning outcomes show that there are still some studentswho have not completed, which is around 31.7%.Keywords: Use Of Learning Videos, Teacher-Made, Trigonometry Material.

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study is to describe student’s creative thinking abilities of problem posing in linear equation of one variable at SMP Negeri 3 Pontianak. The specific purpose is to describe student’s creative thinking abilities in fluency, flexibility and novelty of problem posing, and level of student’s creative thinking abilities of problem posing. The research method used is a descriptive method with the survey form of studies. The research agency is students of Class VIII H in SMP Negeri 3 Pontianak. The data collection techniques used are written tests and interviews. The results showed that student’s creative thinking abilities of problem posing from 30 students there were 16 students who could meet the fluency indicator, 8 students who could meet the flexibility indicator and 13 students who could meet the novelty indicator. The level of creative thinking ability of 30 students, there are 3 students at level 4, 8 students at level 3, 7 students at level 2, 6 students at level 1, 6 students at level 0.Keywords: Creative Thinking Ability, Linear Equation Of One Variable, Problem Posing.

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this research is to know and to description creative thinking students of XI in order to solve the problem in material linear equation system of two variables at SMK Negeri 3 Pontianak. This research is focus on how the students creative thinking in ability of high mathematics and students’ ability of low mathematics according to indicator fluency, fleksibility and orginality. This research used descriptive method with qualitative approach. The research is about case study. The tools of data collection in the form of test descriptions and unstructured interviews. As for the subject of this study were students of class XI Office Administration 2 SMK Negeri 3 Pontianak. The results showed that the average students met the fluency indicator and on average reached a creative thinking level 1 (less creative). The average students with high mathematical ability reaches a creative thinking level of 1 (less creative) and the average students with low math ability reaches a creative thinking level of 0 (not creative). Therefore, it can be concluded that students of XI have not been creative in solving linear equation system of two variables.Keywords: Analysis, Mathematical Creative Thinking, Problem Solving

Abstract

Abstract The aim of this study was to determine the range of movements used in the Jepin Tali Bui Dance Pontianak Malay Community and to determine the ethnomatemics contained in the Tali Bui Jepin Dance. The method used is qualitative in the form of case study research. The subject of this research is a former senior dancer, dance studio owner and dance trainer and the focus is on the Pontianak Malay community who have an interesting tradition of Jepin Tali Bui Dance. In general, the Jepin Tali Bui dance is performed by seven dancers, has some motion salts namely hanging steps, cease steps and oblique steps, and also has a number of tie patterns, such as woven mats, woven mats and woven mats. The results of the data analysis show that there is a mathematical element in the Tali Bui Jepin Dance based on the age of the Tali Bui Jepin Dance from the first time entering Pontianak, the anniversary of Pontianak City, the value of compactness and togetherness value, grouping of dance attributes, the number of straps used, the number of ropes used, the musical instruments used, the pattern floor, lock pattern 1-7, time needed to perform the dance, hanging steps, cease steps, and oblique steps. Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed to determine the effectiveness of the application of the STAD type cooperative learning model on mathematical logic material in class X Pontianak Graduation High School. The method used is descriptive method. The chosen subjects were 29 students of class X Graduation High School Pontianak. The aspect used to determine the effectiveness of learning using the STAD type cooperative learning model was student learning activities, the implementation of the teacher managing learning, student responses and completeness of student learning outcomes. The data collection techniques and tools used were direct observation techniques using observation sheets of student learning activities and the implementation of teachers managing learning, indirect communication techniques using student response questionnaires and measurement techniques using student learning outcomes tests. The research data obtained that student learning activities amounted to 49.88% with fairly active criteria, the implementation of the teacher managing learning was 3.31 with good criteria,student responses amounted to 73.08% with good criteria and completeness of results student learning in classics is 48% classified as unmet criteria. The effectiveness of learning using the STAD type cooperative learning model on mathematical logic material in class X Pontianak Graduation High School was said to be ineffective.  Keywords: Cooperative, Effectiveness, STAD

Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed to acknowledge the affect of scientific approach to students' study outcomes and anxiety while studying about matrix in eleventh grade of SMK PGRI Pontianak. The research method used was pre-experimental design, specifically oneshot study. The samples of this research were eleventh grader students in the major of Motor Cycle Technique, chosen by applying purposive sampling technique. Data collected by using study outcomes test and anxiety questionnaire. The data was analyzed by using SPSS 25.0 program for Windows. The analysis of pretest outcomes before scientific approach applied showed that 30% of total students were passed, while the rest were not. After scientific approach applied, the data showed that 85% of total students were passed, the rest were not. Based on the anxiety questionnaire, it showed that 10% felt anxious, 40% felt a bit anxious, 50% not felt any anxiety. Also, there were negative correlation between the students' anxiety and study outcomes, with the correlation score of -0.445.Keywords: Anxiety, Scientific Approach, Study Outcomes,

Abstract

AbstractThe thesis entitled The Implementation of Contextual Teaching and Learning Model in Geometry Subject in SMK Negeri 3 Pontianak aimed to determine the effectiveness of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model in geometry subject in SMK Negeri 3 Pontianak. The research method used was pre-experimental design with the research design used was one shot study design. The study sample was 30 students from class XII AP 1 of SMK Negeri 3 Pontianak. From the results of the study it showed that the teacher’s ability (researchers) in implementing learning with the CTL model was very good with an average of 3.84, the percentage of student’s learning activity based on groups was classified as very active with an average of 96.73% and student respond positively to learning with a percentage of 81.17%. 53% of students reached proficiency levels in study. It can be concluded that learning using the Contextual Teaching and Learning model is not effective for 12th grade geometry subject in SMK Negeri 3 Pontianak. Keywords:  Contextual Teaching and Learning Model, Geometry Subject,                    Learning Effectiveness

Abstract

Abstract This research aimed to reveal the mathematical concept in the traditional procession of the Gunting Rambut and Tinjak Tanah at desa Matan Jaya. The research form used in this research was a case study. The research subjects in this research were the people at desa Matan Jaya. Data processing in this research used qualitative analysis techniques. The data analyzed was data obtained direct observation, documentation, and interviews. The research result found knowledge, preparation, and implementation of the custom procession of the Gunting Rambut and step Tinjak Tanah at the desa Matan Jaya. The data analysis result showed that the procession of the Gunting Rambut and Tinjak Tanah at desa Matan Jaya contained ethnomatematics. The mathematical concepts contained in the custom procession of the Gunting Rambut and Tinja Tanah at desa Matan Jaya was operations on integers and fractions, odd numbers, number intervals, flat shapes, spatial shapes, time, probability, combinations, sets, rows and series, and social arithmetic.Keywords: Customs of the Gunting Rambut and Tinjak Tanah, Ethnomatematics, Mathematical concepts
