Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this research to determine the perception of the people who visit Kadriah Palace in East Pontianak as the objects of cultural heritage. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The data sources of this study was the manager of the Kadriah Sultanate Palace and community representatives who had visited. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, and documentation. Results: (1) public perception about Kadriah Sultanate Palace positively, visitors argue that the palace still needs to be improved so that it remains a historical attraction that visitors can enjoy at any time. (2) preservation by the manager is already good in collaboration with the government, but it must be improved so that the Kadriah Sultanate Palace becomes a better historical attraction and well maintainece so that visitors feel comfortable when visit. (3) people's perception when visiting is to respond positively, their suggestions and hopes that the preservation of the Kadriah Sultanate Palace can be improved and when they visit, they get historical information well, but it is worth noting some deficiencies such as the addition of information boards, signs and additional guidelines so that all visitors become clearer in getting historical information.Keywords: Public perception,Cultural Heritage, Kadriah Sultanate Palace

Abstract

Abstract This research aims to find out about the implementation of moral education and islamic vaalues in the subjectsof islamic cultural history in class XII social sciences MAN 2 Pontianak. The research method used descriptive research form. Data sources of this research was history teacher of islamic culture and students class XII social sciences. Data collection techniques, while the data collection tools used were observation guides, interview guides, and documentation. The analysis in this study was presented in a descriptive qualitative manner using 16 informants. The result of this study indicates that planning in the implementation of moral education and islamic values with the implementation plan of learning. Implementation of moral education and islamic values encompasses reading the Quran before starting the lesson, peeling historical material, evaluating and closing with prayer. Evaluation of the implementation of moral education and islamic values by checking directly with students relate to the order of the agreed rules, if it violates the rules then it is subject to sanctions. Constraints and solutions for the implementation of moral education and islamic values, were specifically the lack of control by the teacher of students, so there are still students who break the rules. Abstract

AbstractThe general research problem was the destruction process of PGRS-PARAKU in Sungai Raya Kepulauan, Bengkayang Regency in 1963-1970. The problems raised in this study were summarized in three research questions, the entry of PGRS-PARAKU in West Kalimantan, the background of the destruction of PGRS-PARAKU, and the conditions of PGRS-PARAKU after destruction in Sungai Raya Kepulauan, Bengkayang Regency in 1963-1970. To achieve the research purpose, researcher used historical research method. The techniques of data collection were interview and documentation. The result showed that the destruction of PGRS-PARAKU in Sungai Raya Kepulauan, Bengkayang Regency in 1963-1970 was motivated by the uprising of the volunteers who were gathered and trained by TNI in the border area of West Kalimantan because of the confrontation between Indonesia-Malaysia caused by the British that tried to gather their allies in Southeast Asia in a single unit, but that was challenged by Indonesian government. The researcher suggested that the society must begin to care about politics, pay attention to their surrounding and prioritize the logic so that the destruction of PGRS-PARAKU in Sungai Raya Kepulauan, Bengkayang Regency in 1963-1970 will not occurs anymore in the future. Keywords: Destruction, PGRS-PARAKU, West Kalimantan

Abstract

AbstractThis study aim to find out the evidences of the Keraton Kusuma Negara that could be used as a learning medium and also to find out how to use it and the obstacles in utilizing the Keraton Kusuma as a medium of historical learning at SMA Negeri 1 Sekadau. Researcher using descriptive methods using a qualitative approach. The subjects of this study was 8 people with 1 person in charge of Keraton Kusuma Negara, 1 history teacher, and 6 students of class XI IPS.Techniques used in data collection include observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that there are 3 relics that can be used as a medium of learning history, then teachers using Keraton Kusuma Negara by presenting photos to students when learning materials take place so that they can understand the history of Keraton Kusuma Negara. The obstaclesarise when technical problems such as power failure and lack of projectors as well as very limited resource constraints when the teacher present them in class, where the teacher anticipating technical problem by printing the photo and showing it to the class, then anticipating limited resource constraint by searching for related literature.Keywords: Historical Learning, Historical Learning Media, Keraton Kusuma Negara

Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed to describe the change of values in Dayak Kanayatn custom marriage in Sadaniang district Mempawah regency. This research used qualitative method with descriptive-ethnography approach. The method used in collecting the data observation, interview and documentation. Device used in collecting data is observation guide, interview guide and documentation. According to the result of the research, the original arrangement of custom marriage are consist of several stage, such as penentuan picara, tahap barawas, nyuman poe’ pangumpur, ngikat kata, pantangan (pingit), tahap persiapan, marriage ceremony that started with makan batamak (bersanding), nasi tenung, ngadap sajiant, nasehat picara, ngadap buis bantant, macah piringk, penyerahan tingkalangk parimatant, balalak, and panganten baulangk. Changes occurred in the procession of Dayak Kanayatn custom marriage in Sadaniang district, such as additional and reduction of some custom props. Thus happened because of several factors, (1) Economic reasons from society; (2) Foreign culture influence from religion transmission that cause the society to held marriage ceremony according to their religion, hence several custom props are removed. Keywords: The change of Values, Custom Marriage, Dayak Kanayatn

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to dertermine the opinion of history education student to controversial historical material in the history education program at the FKIP Tanjungpura University. The method used a survey method with qualitative research. Data collection techniques used indirect communication techniques (questionnaire via Google forms), interview techniques and documents. The sources in this study was representatives of 2016 and 2017 classes history education student who have taken contemporary Indonesian history courses dan lecturer who teach contemporary Indonesian history courses. The result shows that the general student’s perception to controversial historical material are good. It can be seen from each indicators in identification of controversial historical material, lerning process and student’s perception to controversial historical material through the analysis of positive interview results and the average questionnaire results in good categories.Keywords: Controversial Historical, FKIP Untan, Students of Perceptions

Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed to find out the effect of role playing learning models on students' learning motivations in the history subjects of class XI MIA SMAN 9 Pontianak. The research used kuantitaitif experiment type one group pretest-posttest designs. This determination of samples used purposive sampling. The research instruments used pre-test and post-test questionnaires. The results of this research showed; The results of the pre-test score 60.47% with sufficiently categorized. The results of the post-test score 78% with strongly categorized. Based on r square score shows the contribution of role playing learning model influence to learn motivation of students is 32.8%, remaining influenced by other variables. Hypothesis test results showed that t count by 4,078 greater > from table t 2,032. So it can be drawn conclusions that Ho rejected and Ha accepted, which means there was an influence of role playing learning model on the motivation of learning students on the history subjects of grade XI MIA 3 SMAN 9 Pontianak. Keywords: History Subject, Motivational Learning, Role Playing.

Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed to know the symbolic meaning of the tradition of belamin on the community in Mulia Kerta Village, Ketapang Regency. The method used qualitative descriptive. The data source used representative of traditional adat leaders. The techniques of data collections were observation, interviews, and documentation. The results obtain were: 1. This tradition adopted during Hindu culture precisely in the 16th century aimed at cleanse themselves and while the belamin process was taught character education and religious education, 2. The implementation of the tradition of belamin on the community of Desa Mulia Kerta is carrying out through several stages including: the stages of preparation, the stages carried out in the lamin / room, step down lamin, preparation for bathing, doing the betitik process, and the final stage (Khataman Al-Qur'an and Betimbang), 3. Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to determine students perceptions about the process of learning in SMAN1 Teluk Keramat of Sambas Regency. The research method used descriptive method. Theresearch object was students of eleventh grade with 42 students. Data collection techniquesin this research used direct communication technique, indirect communication technique,and documentary study technique. Data collection tools used questionnaires, interviews, anddocumentations. The results of this research shows the teacher has carried out the historylearning process well. The student statements through a questionnaire that the learningobjectives carried out by the teacher are good, the learning material carried out by theteacher is good, the methods used by the teacher are good enough, the media used by theteacher is good, and the evaluation of learning carried out by the teacher has been good.This shows the history learning process at SMAN 1 Teluk Keramat of Sambas Regency isquite good.Keywords: Process of History Learning

Abstract

AbstractThis research is intended to describe the existence of musikal pleasure Tanjidor in the process of marriying Malays in the villge of Serumpun Sambas district this reseaarch USES qualitative methods with A descriptive- ethnographic approach with technique for data gathering that used are observation, interview and documentation. The data- collection tool that is observation guides, interview manuals, field notes and documentaries. The anal probing of data used is pre-d analysis, core analysis and cultural theme analysis testing data validity using extensions of observation, increased persistence and triangulation made up of source triangulation, triangulation of technique and time-triangulation based on research done on the Tanjidor music of the process of performing in weddiing tradisions, a processions of deconstructed processions still accompanied by Tanjidor music that has now grown considerably in growth wedding trditions taking place in the villing of umbas district.
