Abstract

AbstractThis investigation plans to decide the adequacy of utilizing funny cartoon media on understudy learning results in history class X IIS 1 SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak. This investigation utilizes a Quasi Experimental technique with the plan of "Nonequevalent Control Group". Abstract

AbstractThe general research problem was the destruction process of PGRS-PARAKU in Sungai Raya Kepulauan, Bengkayang Regency in 1963-1970. The problems raised in this study were summarized in three research questions, the entry of PGRS-PARAKU in West Kalimantan, the background of the destruction of PGRS-PARAKU, and the conditions of PGRS-PARAKU after destruction in Sungai Raya Kepulauan, Bengkayang Regency in 1963-1970. To achieve the research purpose, researcher used historical research method. The techniques of data collection were interview and documentation. The result showed that the destruction of PGRS-PARAKU in Sungai Raya Kepulauan, Bengkayang Regency in 1963-1970 was motivated by the uprising of the volunteers who were gathered and trained by TNI in the border area of West Kalimantan because of the confrontation between Indonesia-Malaysia caused by the British that tried to gather their allies in Southeast Asia in a single unit, but that was challenged by Indonesian government. The researcher suggested that the society must begin to care about politics, pay attention to their surrounding and prioritize the logic so that the destruction of PGRS-PARAKU in Sungai Raya Kepulauan, Bengkayang Regency in 1963-1970 will not occurs anymore in the future. Keywords: Destruction, PGRS-PARAKU, West Kalimantan

Abstract

AbstractThis study aim to find out the evidences of the Keraton Kusuma Negara that could be used as a learning medium and also to find out how to use it and the obstacles in utilizing the Keraton Kusuma as a medium of historical learning at SMA Negeri 1 Sekadau. Researcher using descriptive methods using a qualitative approach. The subjects of this study was 8 people with 1 person in charge of Keraton Kusuma Negara, 1 history teacher, and 6 students of class XI IPS.Techniques used in data collection include observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that there are 3 relics that can be used as a medium of learning history, then teachers using Keraton Kusuma Negara by presenting photos to students when learning materials take place so that they can understand the history of Keraton Kusuma Negara. The obstaclesarise when technical problems such as power failure and lack of projectors as well as very limited resource constraints when the teacher present them in class, where the teacher anticipating technical problem by printing the photo and showing it to the class, then anticipating limited resource constraint by searching for related literature.Keywords: Historical Learning, Historical Learning Media, Keraton Kusuma Negara

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to describe students' perceptions about the task of learning oral history in the FKIP Untan History Education Study Program. This research uses qualitative methods with a descriptive approach. The data collection techniques used were observation, interview and documentation. Data collection tools are observation guidelines, interview guides, documentation tools. The data analysis technique used is analysis before in the field and data analysis while in the field. Testing the validity of the data, namely using extended observations, increasing persistence and triangulation consisting of triangulation of sources, triangulation of techniques and triangulation of time. Based on the results of the research (1) The task of oral history is to look for historical places / events and more detailed knowledge by interviewing people who understand the place or can also look for people who are involved in historical events. (2) The forms of tasks given in general, such as interviewing sources, making observations, preparing question instruments to informants, making reports or papers, presentations, power points, doing group assignments, individual daily assignments, then for the final assessment given uts and uas. (3) First, in doing the assignments, students experience difficulties, such as the literature in the library is still minimal. Both facilities and infrastructure also affect learning in classrooms with heat and lack of chairs and tables, it also disturbs student learning concentration. These three covid19 periods are required by the public or students to stay at home and study online.Keywords: Perception, Students, Oral History Assignments

Abstract

AbstractThis study was conducted using descriptive qualitative research methods researchtype, to know the teacher’s perparation bold learning media in history learning, theprocess of implementing teachers in using bold learn the media in the history oflearning, and the obstacles that teachers feel in learning to use learning media thatare bold in history. This search location is in SMAN 7 Pontianak which is locatedon road Sulawesi Dalam No. 10. Data collection techniques used are observation,interviews tools are observation guidelines, interviewguidelines, and studydocuments. The researcher’s data analysis technique used data reduction, datadisplay, and levers. Researchers test the validity of the data using triangulation.From the results of the data, the researcgers know that: (1) To prepare the media asa bold lesson in history learning, the teacher must also prepare the steps forpreparing the implementation of learning (RPP) to adjust to the learning materialthat will later be delivered to raised. (2) Implementation of learning utilizinglearning media does not know all students do understand the material that theteaching conveys because the delivery of the material is too simple and there is nomore in-depth explanation. (3) The use of learning media that has been conveyed bythe teacher is almost the same as what the participants said, use of your learningsupporthistory learning is less effective. (4) In the use of learning means, we oftenfind several sbstacles that become a problem in a learning process, both teahnicallyand non-technically. The usage of google class media under learning is taking intoaccount quite effective, although it has several obstacles. Abstract

This research aims to find out how students perceive online learning in history subjects. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews, and also documentation. As for the data collection tools using observation guidelines, interview guidelines and also documentation studies. To test the validity of the data, the author uses the technique of extended observation and triangulation. The results of the study show that: (1) Students understand what is meant by online learning, so that in carrying out their learning they have used various kinds of application media in supporting the teaching and learning process such as Google Classroom, Google Meet, Zoom, and Whatsapp. During the online learning process, not all students experience a calm learning situation. Some students feel that when learning takes place, they experience a noisy learning situation due to the sound of passing vehicles and the many family activities at home so that they do not focus on learning. In the online learning process, teachers have not used online lesson plans. So that in the process of implementing learning the teacher continues to make adjustments. (2) In online learning, the obstacles encountered are signal problems, limited quotas, and a less conducive learning environment.Keywords : History Learning, Online Learning, Student Perceprion

Abstract

AbstractPerang Asia Pasifik merupakan salah satu perang terbesar yang ada. Jepang menjadiNegara yang memiliki peran yang sangat besar terhadap terjadinya perang.Propaganda Jepang dilakukan untuk memobilisasi masa yang ada di setiap negara-negara taklukkan Jepang. Media surat kabar menjadi salah satu alat dalammelancarkan propagandanya. Di Pontianak, Jepang melancarkan propagandanyamelalui surat kabar Borneo Barat Shinbun. Artikel ini bertujuan menjelaskan tentangfaktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pemerintah militer Jepang dalam melakukanpropaganda melalui surat kabar Borneo Barat Shinbun dengan menggunakan metodepenelitian sejarah yaitu pemilihan topic, heuristik, verifikasi, interpretasi, danhistoriografi. Dari pembahasan tentang propaganda Jepang di dalam artikel ini, akandidapatkan sebuah kesimpulan bahwa surat kabar di masa pendudukan Jepangdigunakan sebagai media propaganda dan terdapat faktor-faktor yangmempengaruhinya dalam melakukan propaganda di surat kabar Borneo Barat Shinbun.Keywords: Propaganda, Jepang, Surat Kabar

Abstract

AbstractThe research was titled "Opium Influence on socio-cultural aspects and ethnic Chinese economy in Sambas year 1909-1942". A common problem in this research is how opium influences the ethnic Chinese in Sambas in 1909-1942. The purpose of this research is to describe the opium influence of ethnic Chinese in Sambas in 1909-1942 in socio-cultural and economic aspects. The study uses historiography methods, namely Heutistics, source criticism, verification, and historiography. The approach used in the study was sociology, economics and politics. The results of this study showed that: (1) The opium trade was not separated from the coming of the Chinese to Sambas, the opening of the gold mine at Monterado and the trade route between West Borneo and Singapore; (2) Opium trade managed by the local government as well as during the Dutch East Indies, influenced the socio-cultural life of Chinese society, especially the disputes between Chinese society and Sultan Sambas and government Dutch Colonial Indies; (3) The government-run opium management system through the Regie system gives a large income to fill the colonial treasury. The Chinese smugglers also benefit from opium trading as there is no need to pay high taxes to the colonial government. However, the majority of Chinese consumers have a health loss that will also affect their economy.Keywords: Opium influence, ethnic Chinese, Sambas
