Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this research to determine the perception of the people who visit Kadriah Palace in East Pontianak as the objects of cultural heritage. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The data sources of this study was the manager of the Kadriah Sultanate Palace and community representatives who had visited. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, and documentation. Results: (1) public perception about Kadriah Sultanate Palace positively, visitors argue that the palace still needs to be improved so that it remains a historical attraction that visitors can enjoy at any time. (2) preservation by the manager is already good in collaboration with the government, but it must be improved so that the Kadriah Sultanate Palace becomes a better historical attraction and well maintainece so that visitors feel comfortable when visit. (3) people's perception when visiting is to respond positively, their suggestions and hopes that the preservation of the Kadriah Sultanate Palace can be improved and when they visit, they get historical information well, but it is worth noting some deficiencies such as the addition of information boards, signs and additional guidelines so that all visitors become clearer in getting historical information.Keywords: Public perception,Cultural Heritage, Kadriah Sultanate Palace

Abstract

Abstract This research aims to find out about the implementation of moral education and islamic vaalues in the subjectsof islamic cultural history in class XII social sciences MAN 2 Pontianak. The research method used descriptive research form. Data sources of this research was history teacher of islamic culture and students class XII social sciences. Data collection techniques, while the data collection tools used were observation guides, interview guides, and documentation. The analysis in this study was presented in a descriptive qualitative manner using 16 informants. The result of this study indicates that planning in the implementation of moral education and islamic values with the implementation plan of learning. Implementation of moral education and islamic values encompasses reading the Quran before starting the lesson, peeling historical material, evaluating and closing with prayer. Evaluation of the implementation of moral education and islamic values by checking directly with students relate to the order of the agreed rules, if it violates the rules then it is subject to sanctions. Constraints and solutions for the implementation of moral education and islamic values, were specifically the lack of control by the teacher of students, so there are still students who break the rules. The solution is to do better supervision and always give advice, reprimand students who make mistakes. Keywords: History Of Islam, Implementation, Islamic Values, Moral

Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed to determine the use of learning models in history subjects in class XI SMAN 2Pontianak. This research qualitative with a case study oncoming. Data collection techniques, used aninterviews, and documentation. The research subjects were history teachers and students. The resultsshowing: 1) how to determine the learning model of history subjects in class XI SMAN 2 Pontianak,namely adjusting the learning model with the material, time, available facilities and the abilities ofstudents 2)implementation of the learning model of history subjects class XI SMAN 2 Pontianak,namely by preparing lesson plans for learning models and preparing the material presented. 3)constraints in the use of learning models in history subjects in class XI SMAN 2 Pontianak, namely thelack of time in learning, facilities and infrastructure and class conditions that are less conducive. Effortsin overcoming the constraints of using learning models, namely estimating time allocation, motivatestudents and guide through explanations related to learning models.Keywords: Use, Learning Models, History Lessons

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to dertermine the opinion of history education student to controversial historical material in the history education program at the FKIP Tanjungpura University. The method used a survey method with qualitative research. Data collection techniques used indirect communication techniques (questionnaire via Google forms), interview techniques and documents. The sources in this study was representatives of 2016 and 2017 classes history education student who have taken contemporary Indonesian history courses dan lecturer who teach contemporary Indonesian history courses. The result shows that the general student’s perception to controversial historical material are good. It can be seen from each indicators in identification of controversial historical material, lerning process and student’s perception to controversial historical material through the analysis of positive interview results and the average questionnaire results in good categories.Keywords: Controversial Historical, FKIP Untan, Students of Perceptions

Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed to find out the effect of role playing learning models on students' learning motivations in the history subjects of class XI MIA SMAN 9 Pontianak. The research used kuantitaitif experiment type one group pretest-posttest designs. This determination of samples used purposive sampling. The research instruments used pre-test and post-test questionnaires. The results of this research showed; The results of the pre-test score 60.47% with sufficiently categorized. The results of the post-test score 78% with strongly categorized. Based on r square score shows the contribution of role playing learning model influence to learn motivation of students is 32.8%, remaining influenced by other variables. Hypothesis test results showed that t count by 4,078 greater > from table t 2,032. So it can be drawn conclusions that Ho rejected and Ha accepted, which means there was an influence of role playing learning model on the motivation of learning students on the history subjects of grade XI MIA 3 SMAN 9 Pontianak. Keywords: History Subject, Motivational Learning, Role Playing.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the effectiveness of madrasah e-learning media on students' interest in learning history in class XI IPS 1 MAN 02 Pontianak. The method used is descriptive quantitative. The results of the study show that 1). effectiveness of madrasah e-learning media in history learning in class XI IPS 1 MAN 02 Pontianak, the results of respondents' answers with the majority of the percentage of 50% in the good category, 2). students' interest in learning using madrasah e-learning media in history learning in class XI IPS 1 MAN 02 Pontianak, the results of respondents' answers with the majority of the percentage of 85% in the sufficient category. 3). Regarding the effectiveness of madrasa e-learning media on students' interest in learning history in class XI IPS 1 MAN 02 Pontianak, it can be concluded of the regression test that the effect of the effectiveness of variable X on Y is 4.2%Keywords: Effectiveness, Madrasah E-learning, History Learning.

Abstract

 AbstractThe aims of this research to knowing the effectivitieness of models media to learning outcomes. The research was conducted applying pre-experimental design with planning the one-group pretest-posttest design. This populations in the research was 10th-grade student of MAS Al-Mustaqim and this subjek was 10th-IPS1 student. The technique of data collection were direct observation technique, direct comunication technique, measurement technique, and study document technique. The tools of data collecting in this research were notebook, interviews and learning outcomes in the form of pretest and posttest. The result of normality test state that the results of residual values are normally distributed with a significant value of 0,586 > 0,05. While the result of the hypothesis test state that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted based on the sig value. The pretest average value is 53,75 and the posttest average value is 78,75. The Value of Cohen Effect Size is 1,48 including on high category. So, the conclusion of apply models media on history subject is effectiveness for student learning outcomes in 10th-grade IPS 1 Mas Al-Mustaqim Kubu Raya. Keywords: History Subjects, Learning Outcomes, Media Mockup

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to determine the difficulties as well as internal and external factors that affect learning difficulties of students in the history subject of class XI IPS at SMAN 1 Sungai Raya. The research method used is descriptive research. The subject of this study was 6 students who had difficulty in learning history and 1 history teacher of class XI IPS. The data collection techniques was observation, intervews and decomentations. The result shows that the difficulties faced by the students relate to academic problems such as hard to pay attention to the teacher, hyperactivy, often sleepy, did not apply good learning and there were some studentswho make noise, the internal factors that affect students learning difficultiesin were the health of the students that interferes with learning, lack of intelligency, lack of interest and readiness to learn history. And external factors that affect learning difficulties of students were less attention of parents to student’s learning, teacher use a tradtional methods learning and less various strategic learning, lack of discipline and students disrupt the teaching learning process .Keywords: Learning Difficulties Factors, Learning Process, Historical Subjects.

Abstract

AbstractMarriage is a form of sacred bond in unifying relationships,namely the relationshipbetween men and women and also a bond in uniting two different families.in Javanesetraditional it has a unique traditional, namely Temu Manten. This study aimed to describethe shift in the meaning of Temu Manten in Javanese traditional marriages in WonosariHamlest, Tebang Kacang Village, Sungai Raya District, Kubu Raya Regency. This studyused a qualitative method with a descriptive-ethnographic approach. Data collectiontechiques used were observation guidelines, interview guidelines, and documentationtools. The data analysis during collection, data presentation or data display, and drawingconclusions or verification. Validation data used were the source and techniquetriangulation. Based on research conducted by Temu Manten Tradition, starting from theprocession of the Bride and Groom, Balangan Gantal, Wiji Dadi, Sindur, Dulangan,Kacar-Kucur, and Sungkeman procession. There was a shift in meaning in bridalprocession, which originally used Kembar Mayang and now it does not use it. And in WijiDadi procession, which originally used Kembar Mayang and now it does not use it. Andin Wiji Dadi procession, where the groom’s feet are washed by his family, now his wifewashes his feet. The conclusion in this study is that those who experience a shift inmeaning in the procession of the bride and groom which originally used KembarMayang, now does not use it. And in Wiji Dadi procession, the firsh one who washes thethe feed of the groom’s family and now his feed are washed by his wife.Keywords: Tradition, Wedding, Java.

Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed to know the symbolic meaning of the tradition of belamin on the community in Mulia Kerta Village, Ketapang Regency. The method used qualitative descriptive. The data source used representative of traditional adat leaders. The techniques of data collections were observation, interviews, and documentation. The results obtain were: 1. This tradition adopted during Hindu culture precisely in the 16th century aimed at cleanse themselves and while the belamin process was taught character education and religious education, 2. The implementation of the tradition of belamin on the community of Desa Mulia Kerta is carrying out through several stages including: the stages of preparation, the stages carried out in the lamin / room, step down lamin, preparation for bathing, doing the betitik process, and the final stage (Khataman Al-Qur'an and Betimbang), 3.
