Abstract

AbstractThe problems of this research were ‘how was the relationship of dance movement in the process of binding pattern and the meaning of how to knit binding pattern in Jepin Tali Bui dance in Karimunting and the meaning contained in the presentationvillage of Sungai Raya Kepulauan District of Bengkayangand the implementation of learning art Subject.The method used in this research was descriptive method in form of qualitative design. The approach of this research was ethnocoreology which was a multidisciplinary science that was used more than one discipline.The data used in this research were the results of observation, interviews, and documantationsThe analysis of the of how to knit binding pattern  and the meaning contained in the presentationmeaning of binding pattern of Jepin Tali Bui dance based on the interviews of the interviwees and documenting it.The meaning of binding pattern based on the story in Jepin Tali Bui dance relates to human life, namely the life of honesty, mutual respect, no envy, and envy towards human beings.  Based on the interview with Mrs. Suraddmi, she said that the meaning of the direction of the binding pattern from top to down there was no special meaning, however it had a a narrative value that the soldier tied from top to down so that the soldier hard to escape and rebel. The results of this research were expected to be implementation of learning art Subject in form of lesson plans in the teaching learning process of art and cultre subject to the seventh grade of Junior High School.Keywords: Binding Pattern, Bengkayang, Jepin Tali Bui Dance

Abstract

AbstractThis research was motivated to know the Pidabat Music Instrument Punch Pattern in Sigal Dance Accompaniment on Celebration Bidayuh, Bengkayang Regency. The purpose of this research wasto describe ofPidabat Music Instrument Punch Pattern in Sigal Dance Accompaniment on Celebration Bidayuh, Bengkayang Regency. and descriptions design implementation research resulton activities learning in school.This research used descriptive method with  qualitative research. In this research using musicology approach. The data contained in this study were the results of direct observation and interviews whit informants relating about Pidabat Music Instrument Punch pattern in Sigal Dance Accompaniment on Celebration Bidayuh, Bengkayang Regency. The source of data is Ginop, Djupri, Ayak dan Lidianus.Data collection techniques are carried out by interview observation and documentation. The technique of validity examine was observation prolongation and tringualation technique. Based on data analysis, Pidabat music instrument has the three percussion pattern that is percussion pattern Selingan Biasa, Nyinok-nyinok and Ngolis-ngolis. in Pidabat music instrument this too has thetone blows “Dung” and “Pak”. The results of this study were expected to be implemented in a learning design in class VIII on Pidabat Music Instrument Punch Pattern in Sigal Dance Accompaniment Celebration Bidayuh,Bengkayang Regency. Key Words: Pidabat, Punch Pattern, Sigal Dance Accompaniment

Abstract

AbstractThe background of this research was Forms of Bakoncong Dance Presentation on Traditional Marriage Rituals in Dayak Badamea Tribe, Sanatab Village, Sajingan Besar District, Sambas Regency. This research used descriptive method with qualitative research as research design and used a choreographic approach because the choreographic approach could relate the researchers' discussion to research problems that lead to the arrangement of dance, and became a form of dance presentation.. Data collecting techniques used observation, interview, and documentation. The technique examined the validity of the data using extended observations and triangulation of sources. Data analysis techniques in the form of analysis during data collection and analysis after data collection. Based on the data analysis, concluded that Bakoncong Dance had elements found in other forms of presentation were, Circular floor design, Group composition using unison design, Bakoncong dance theme was about marriage rituals, Outdoor performances, Governance natural makeup, Women's clothing that was used the Kebaya clothes, Batik-patterned skirts, and small handkerchiefs, Musical accompaniment was used Gong, Tambourine, and Violin and chanting lyrics. Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this research is to describe the study of cultural values contained in Baliatn traditional ritual dances in the Senakin Village, Landak district of West Kalimantan.The research focused on issues relatedto cultural values in textual and contextual studies. The research method that used in this research is descriptive research methods, qualitytative forms, and ethnochoreological approaches. Data sources are in the form of interviews. The research data are in the form of interviews and photographs.. Data collection techniques are in the form  of observation, interviews, and documentation. Techniques for testing the validity of source use triangulation data. Data analysis  techniques are compile and analyze. The results of this study is to show that ritual dance in Baliatn traditional ceremonies contains cultural values found in textual and contextual studies  that will be linked to two basic problems of life, namelu humans with nature and human with each other. Textual aspect that can be taken are in motion, clothing, property, and the number of dancers. The contextual is seen from the dance function, which is ritual dance treatment. Abstract

Abstract This research was backgrounded by the researcher’s great curiosity towards thefunction of Sabek’n Apa'k as a ritual in the Nyobeng ceremony of the Bina'ehDayak Tribe in Tamong Village, Siding District. The objective of this study was todescribe the process of the Nyobeng ritual ceremony as well as the function ofSabek’k Apa’k dance as the part of the Nyobeng ritual ceremony of the Bina’eh. The method used in this research was descriptive method in the form of qualitativeresearch. The data collected from observation, interviews, and documentation wereanalyzed qualitatively with the speakers Mr. Musen, Mr. Jono, and Mr. Tagongwho knew clearly about the Sabek'n Apa’k dance of the Bina’eh Dayak tribe. Basedon data analysis, it was found that the Sabek'n Apa'k dance functions as animportant ritual of Nyobeng and plays an important role for the Bina'eh. AndSabek'n Apa'k must be preceded by a ritual using offerings such as chicken, palmwine, sticky rice, eggs, hanjuang leaves, bananas, taro, Ganeng, tobacco, yellowrice. The results of this study are expected to contribute to education, presentedthrough learning media such as PowerPoint presentation and video of Sabek'nApa'k dance as teaching material in schools.Keywords: Nyobeng, Ritual, Sabek’n Apa’k dance

Abstract

AbstractThe background of this study was the lack of information about accurate documentation in the form of Jepin Silat dance structure. This study aims to describe the motion, supporting elements, and design of the implementation of Jepin Silat dance. this study uses descriptive methods with qualitative forms and choreographic approaches. The source of the data that researches colleted is the results of interviews and the results of documenttation techniques. The technique of testing the validity of the data the researcher uses persistence of observation, triangulation of sources and techniques. Steps of data analysis techniques used  in the form of data reduction, data display, and verification. There are 3 resource persons namely, Mrs Anisah (traditional art performer), Mrs Dewi Astuti (traditional art performer), and Mrs Marlinda (tradtional art performer). There are several kinds of motion, namely variance 1, variety 2, and variety 3. Supporting ements in fashion are clothes kurong, gill pattern, obi and pants. The make up used is realist make up. Musical instruments used are violin, aqordion, and segment. This dance venue can be displayed on the ground, stage or on the page. This research can be implemented in high school (SMA), in learning art and culture in class Xl.Keywords: structure of dance presentation, Jepin Silat dance

Abstract

AbstractThe study aimed to describe the structure of the Raddat Koko dance performance in Sekuduk Village, Sejangkung District, Sambas Regency. The research problems included motion, clothing, makeup, musical accompaniment, upper design, floor design, dramatic design, and the Raddat Koko dance performance. This research was conducted through descriptive methods, in the form of qualitative research and choreographic approaches. The sources of research data were observations, interviews, and documentation of interviewees namely Bahri, Kusnadi and Jurita. The techniques of data validity used triangulation and the techniques of data analysis were systematically collected and analyzed. The research findings showed that there were15 varieties of Raddat Koko dance divided into the initial, the middle (content) and the final movements. The costume employed in Teluk Belanga gown, belts, headbands, veils, and realist makeup. The upper design was high, low, medium, angular, symmetrical and asymmetrical. The dramatic design was in the form of multiple cones, with horizontal and zig-zag floor design. Groups design was in unison and turn. Music accompaniment used tar, long drums, and an Islamic rhyme. Stage located at Proscenium, arena, and field (home yard).Keywords: Performances Structure, Raddat Koko Dance, Sekuduk Village.
