Abstract

AbstractThis research is motivated by literary works as an educational medium, so it must bring up various values. Research problems concerning the religious value of an individuals relationship with God, individual relationship with the individual itself, individuals relationship with others, individuals relationship with nature, and the implementation of literary learning in schools. The method used is descriptive method, in the form of qualitative, with a sociological approach to literature. Documentary data collection techniques, researchers data collection tools as instruments. Source of love novel data in sincere work by Kang Abay. Citation research data. The results of this study indicate that the individuals relathionship with God, the individual, the fellow human being, and nature include, prayer, laughter, meditation, fasting to God, maintaining self respect, gratitude, honesty, courtesy, patience, trust, right, demanding science, filial piety, loving family, upholding justice, spreading grace and love, to keep the promise, to protect the temple, to help, manage an conserve nature, to protect and preserve it. This research implementation plan is found in class XII at the high school lever or equivalent curriculum 2013 with basic competencies 3.3 analyzing novel texts and 4.3 producing coherent novel texts.  Keywords: Analysis, religious values, love in sincerity

Abstract

AbstractThis research is focused on moral values which are reflected in the novel Si Anak Pemberani by Tere Liye. Theories used in this research were novel theory, moral values, and theory of literary learning implementation. The method in this research was descriptive, qualitative form, and sociology literature approach. Data in the form of sentences relating to the problem under research, namely moral values included moral values are reflected in the novel Si Anak Pemberani. The source of data in this research was the novel Si Anak Pemberani by Tere Liye. The technique used was documentary study technique. Data collection tool was the writer itself as the main instrument. The results of this study were: (1) Moral values seen from the relationship between humans and God included: (a) grateful for life, (b) worship. (2) Moral values seen from the relationship between humans and themselves included: (a) self-confidence, (b) responsibility, (c) self-extension, (d) honesty, (e) fear, (f) revenge,              (g) simplicity, (h) longing. (3) Moral values seen from the relationship between humans and others included (a) mutual help, (b) mutual cooperation,              (c) compassion (4) Moral values seen from the relationship between humans and nature included: (a) humans used the nature in good way, (b) responsibility for development, (c) how to love the preservation of the nature, (d) humans with friendly nature. Writer has designed a learning plan that used narrative texts in the literature learning in high school in accordance with Basic Competencies 3.9 and 4.9. Keywords: Moral Values, Novel, Si Anak Pemberani

Abstract

AbstractThis research was motivated to find the emotions of characters in the novel Aku, Benci, dan Cinta by Wulanfadi. The problem in this research was how the emotions of the characters in the novel Aku, Benci, dan Cinta by Wulanfadi, and the learning level of Indonesian language of high school students. This study aims to analyze these problems. Theories used in this study include: emotions, types of emotions, novels, behavioristic psychology, literary learning in schools, and learning plans. The method used in this research was descriptive method with a qualitative form of research that used a behavioristic psychology approach. Data sources used are novel Aku, Benci, dan Cinta by Wulanfadi and data in the form of positive emotions and negative emotions in the form of quotes, words or sentences. In this research the data collection technique used in the form of documentary studies and tools used in the form of researchers themselves. The data validity testing technique used was adequacy of references and triangulation. The data analysis technique used was content analysis. The results of this study about the emotions of characters in the novel in the form of (1) positive emotions ; (2) negative emotions ; (3) the emotion implementation of the characters in the novel used as Indonesian language learning material for high school to the XII class students from the aspect of curriculum, literary learning objectives, selection of teaching materials, and readability. The results of this study are expected to be used by teachers as teaching material in schools and this research can provide input for further researchers to use novel Aku, Benci, dan Cinta by Wulanfadi. Keywords: Emotion, Character and Novel
