Abstract

AbstractThis research is motivated problem class X High School Graduation Pontianak in writing argumentative paragraphs. The problem in this research is how the process and learning outcomes writing paragraph argumentative strategy here everyone is a teacher in class X High School Graduation Pontianak. The benefit of this study is to provide a foundation for other researchers to conduct research in the implementation of learning to write argumentative with using a different approach and language skills in general. Methods and forms used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The data source of this research is the Indonesian subject teachers and students of class X as many as 31 students. The data in this study is a learning process and results argumentative writing paragraphs. Data collection techniques are in the form of test and non test. Data collection tools in this study is in the form of tests, observation guidelines, and cameras. Data analysis techniques for analysis is the observation of the learning takes place. The results obtained from this study is the average value of student learning before using a strategy everyone is a teacher here is 50.00. Results of paragraph argumentative writing students in the first cycle was 69.22, but has not reached the expected KKM. Then proceed to the second cycle of the average value of students increased to 76,90.prosesnya using student worksheets and observation sheet attitudes. Keywords: Paragraph Argumentative, writing skill everyone is a teacher here

Abstract

AbstractThis study aimeds to describe the good character of Mira and Maudy characters as reflected in the id, ego, and super ego in the film “Me vsMami” by Ody C Harahap and the plan for implementing the results of research on learning in school. This study used a psychoanalysis approach. Source data for the film “Me vsMami” with data in the form of words, phrases, actions, and expressions of the characters. Data collection techniques and tools namely documentary studies and researchers as key instruments. Data analysis techniques analyze and interpretion data based on id, ego, and super ego. This study produces data in the form of Mira’s character reflected in the id, ego, and super ego: stubborn, caring, responsible, emotional, merciful. Maudy’s character is refleted in the id, ego, and super ego: careful, perfectionist, responsible, caring, stubborn, compassionate, emotional in the film “Me vsMami” by Ody C Harahap, the plan to implement the results of  research on learning in school.Keywords:Character, Personality, Psychoanalysis

Abstract

 AbstractThis reseach was motivated by the researcher's interest to find moral values of novel, work of Maria a. Sardjono, entitled. Menari di Atas Awan. The set of problems in this research were what kind of moral values that can reflected in this novel and the learning process of Bahasa Indonesia in SMA,/MA level. The purpose of this research was to describe those problems. The theories used in this research were: moral value, kinds of moral value, novel, the sociologist literatue, the learning of literature in the school, and the plan of learning implementation.The method used was descriptive with the form of qualitative. The approach used in this research was Literature socoilogist. The technique of analysing the data was content analysis. The result of this research about the moralvalue were:(1) divinity; praying to the almighty god.; (2) Humanity; responsibility, loving, and respectful; (3) Ownself; Honesty, and hard-working; also (4) the implementation of moral value in the novel as a learning tool of bahasa in the aspect of curriculum, the purpose, the choosing of learning instrument and worthiness to be used as an instrument for learning bahasa for XII students level. The result of this research were expected to be used by the teacher and could be used as an instrument of learning in the school and also the researcher expected that this resultcould be able to provide suggestion for the future conductor of this novel. Abstract

AbstractThis research was motivated by the desire of researchers to introduce the Barere’an oral literature tradition of the Kapuas Hulu Dayak Ruuk community by reviewing the actans structure and function of folklore in it, Bintang Talu, Siring Bunyo dana Kalang Ating, and Amajik. The method used in this research is descriptive method. The form of this study is qualitative. The approach used in this study is a structural approach. The data source of this research is folklore in the Barere’an tradition, namely Bintang Talu, Siring Bunyo Kalangdana Kalang Ating, and Amajik and the research data is in the form of quotations. Data collection techniques used in this study are direct observation techniques. Based on the research conducted, there were found 3 actans structures in the Bintang Talu story, 2 actans structures in the story ofSiring BunyodanaKalang Ating, and 2 actans structures which were in the Amajik story. Each folklore has 4 functions according to the theory of Wiliam R. Bascom. Abstract

AbstractThe author examines the To Synonyms in the Dayak Golik Folklore in Sanggau Regency., specifically this research examines the Insani kesinoniman noun consisting of a description of Lexsem subsitution Lexsem. This research aims to (1) Describe the description of lexemes to synonyms noun insani in the folklore of Dayak Golik, (2) describing the subsitution of lexemes to synonyms nouns in Dayak golik folklore, (3) describing the analysis component of the meaning of lexemes to synonyms noun Insani in the Dayak Golik folklore. The data sources in this research are native speakers of Dayak Golik, located in the hamlet of Berinang, Kasromego village, Beduai subdistrict, Sanggau regency. The data collection tool in this research author himself, the author as a key instrument and data collection tool used in this research is a recording tool, a list of questions, and notebooks. Based on data analysis can be concluded first, that the to synonyms noun insani in the story of Dayak people golik there is a noun Insani namely objects such as humans and animals. Secondly, there is Subtusi lexemes that is looking for similarities in Dayak folklore such as Pongan, Banu, investigators who have a meaning in the Indonesian language of pigs.  Keywords: Dayak Golik Story, Synonim Insani Noun

Abstract

AbstractThe background of this research was about masculinity in the main character include form, that is all the nature, behavior, speech, and the mindset that shows the existence of masculinity, and the cause, that is everything that affects the emergence of masculinity on the main character. Theories used in this research are gender theory, form of masculinity, psychoanalysis, social learning, cognitive development, and gender scheme. The research method is descriptive with qualitative research form. The approach that used is sociology approach with the object of study in the form of social phenomena in literary works. The results of analysis about the form of masculinity include several things. Physical aspect, is no matter on appearance. Economic aspect, is the breadwinner and economic independence. Sexual aspect, is aggressive and single status is accepted. Psychology aspect, is rational and intellectual ability. Sociological aspect, is dominating, trusting, determining, admired by others, violence, and enjoying a free life. Personal aspect, is bold, quiet, discipline, independent, individualistic, showing no weakness, and being able to take risk. The causes of masculinity include family, peers, educational institutions (schools), and mass media. Keyword: character, gender, masculinity

Abstract

AbstractThis research talked about the speech acts in novel Teman Hidupby Andaru Intan.The speech act is the directive and expressive speech act that takes place between dialogues in novel Teman Hidup by Andaru Intan.The method used in this research is descriptive method. This research is in the form of qualitative research.The data source in this study is novel Teman Hidup by Andaru Intan.The data in this study are directive and expressive speech acts of speech.  Data collection techniques used in this study are documentary study techniques. Techniques to test the validity of the data in this study are the perseverance of observation and the scope of the reference.  The results of this study are utterances spoken by all figures both directive and expansive.The results of this study can be implemented in Indonesian language learning.Keywords: Expressive,Directive, Novels

Abstract

AbstractThis research was motivated by the desire of researchers to find the influence of conflict on the character of characters in the novel Bimala by Rabindranath Tagore. Because conflict often becomes a factor that influences human psychological changes resulting in behavior and attitudes. The problems in this study included three things, namely the influence of internal conflict on character, the influence of external conflict on the character of the character, and the plan for implementation in school. The theories used in this discussion included understanding the characters, understanding novels, conflicts in literary works, psychology in literature, and literary learning in school. The method used in this study was descriptive method with qualitative research. The approach used was a psychological psychology approach. The technique used was a documentary study technique with a data collection tool that was the researcher himself as a key instrument. The data in this study are conflicts that affect the character of the character. The data analysis technique used was to re-read the data that has been classified and validated, analyze the data relating to the influence of internal and external conflicts on character figures.Keywords: Bimala novel, character of character, influence of conflict

Abstract

AbstractThis research was motivated to find the emotions of characters in the novel Aku, Benci, dan Cinta by Wulanfadi. The problem in this research was how the emotions of the characters in the novel Aku, Benci, dan Cinta by Wulanfadi, and the learning level of Indonesian language of high school students. This study aims to analyze these problems. Theories used in this study include: emotions, types of emotions, novels, behavioristic psychology, literary learning in schools, and learning plans. The method used in this research was descriptive method with a qualitative form of research that used a behavioristic psychology approach. Data sources used are novel Aku, Benci, dan Cinta by Wulanfadi and data in the form of positive emotions and negative emotions in the form of quotes, words or sentences. In this research the data collection technique used in the form of documentary studies and tools used in the form of researchers themselves. The data validity testing technique used was adequacy of references and triangulation. The data analysis technique used was content analysis. The results of this study about the emotions of characters in the novel in the form of (1) positive emotions ; (2) negative emotions ; (3) the emotion implementation of the characters in the novel used as Indonesian language learning material for high school to the XII class students from the aspect of curriculum, literary learning objectives, selection of teaching materials, and readability. The results of this study are expected to be used by teachers as teaching material in schools and this research can provide input for further researchers to use novel Aku, Benci, dan Cinta by Wulanfadi. Keywords: Emotion, Character and Novel
