AbstractThis research conducted by a willing to analyze more about symbol and meaning sharpened spell that is a legacy for generation by forefathers. A common problem in this research is the symbol and meaning of the mantra of sharpened Ketapang local village, with a specific problem that is the symbol of the mantra sharpened, spells sharpened meaning, and implementation in schools. The method used in this research is descriptive method with qualitative research. Based on thes analysis, it is concluded that the symbols contained in the mantra of sharp Ketapang villages Local distric of the sound of 45 symbols, the following symbols: symbols Basmalah, black charcoal, blood, flesh, bone, father, mather, all, fatahan-fatahan, pontak-panting, loose tongue, loose teeth, nur, turak-turak, solar, Lailahailallah, white foam, black, decay, fertile, sindi, asalamualaikum, nur liah, life, holy, clear, sitting, chair, siti, teacher, mountain, xylophone, wind, water, seribuji, selamun sani, kamang, bute, selewah, word, kodrat, liuk, rahman, rahim, and show. The meaning contained in the honed mantra is the religious meaning and the meaning of personality, the results implemented for the world of education in learning Indonesian to the VIII SMP student 2013 curriculum odd semester. AbstractThis research is motivated by literary works as an educational medium, so it must bring up various values. Research problems concerning the religious value of an individuals relationship with God, individual relationship with the individual itself, individuals relationship with others, individuals relationship with nature, and the implementation of literary learning in schools. The method used is descriptive method, in the form of qualitative, with a sociological approach to literature. Documentary data collection techniques, researchers data collection tools as instruments. Source of love novel data in sincere work by Kang Abay. Citation research data. The results of this study indicate that the individuals relathionship with God, the individual, the fellow human being, and nature include, prayer, laughter, meditation, fasting to God, maintaining self respect, gratitude, honesty, courtesy, patience, trust, right, demanding science, filial piety, loving family, upholding justice, spreading grace and love, to keep the promise, to protect the temple, to help, manage an conserve nature, to protect and preserve it. This research implementation plan is found in class XII at the high school lever or equivalent curriculum 2013 with basic competencies 3.3 analyzing novel texts and 4.3 producing coherent novel texts. AbstractThe research focused to analyze Bali’s local colour in the novel Di Bawah Langit yang Sama by Helga Rif. Researcher focused on the local colour because it was dominate in the novel. This research aimed to describe about life habits, attitudes and the implementation plan of research results to literary learning. Researcher use qualitative research method and describtive research form with literary sociology study. Data source of this research is novel Di Bawah Langit yang Sama. Data of this research were the occurrences of quotation in the text. Technique in data collection is documentary study. Data collection tools is researcher as main instrument and assisted with registrar tools. The result of this research were life habits in Ngaben ceremony divided to the type of Ngaben, stages, tools and the restrictions. Life habits in marriage ceremony divided on the system of marriage, stages, marriage procession ceremony, and tools. The third life habits were in Maturan. The result about attitudes were tolerance for foreign cultures, surrender to God, assertive, courageous, obedient, responsibilities, respect and mutual help, keep others feeling, friendly, wise, politeness, patience and sincere. The researcher was planning about literary implementation learning use narrative text based on Basic Competencies and syllabus. Keywords: Attitudes, Life Habits, Local Colour, Novel.

AbstractThis research was motivated by the desire of researchers to find the influence of conflict on the character of characters in the novel Bimala by Rabindranath Tagore. Because conflict often becomes a factor that influences human psychological changes resulting in behavior and attitudes. The problems in this study included three things, namely the influence of internal conflict on character, the influence of external conflict on the character of the character, and the plan for implementation in school. The theories used in this discussion included understanding the characters, understanding novels, conflicts in literary works, psychology in literature, and literary learning in school. The method used in this study was descriptive method with qualitative research. The approach used was a psychological psychology approach. The technique used was a documentary study technique with a data collection tool that was the researcher himself as a key instrument. The data in this study are conflicts that affect the character of the character. The data analysis technique used was to re-read the data that has been classified and validated, analyze the data relating to the influence of internal and external conflicts on character figures.Keywords: Bimala novel, character of character, influence of conflict

AbstractThe general problem of this research was conflict analysis in the main character in a novel entitled Puber by Rio Rinaldo which tells the story of a teenage girl with all kinds of problems she faces both external conflicts and internal conflicts in her family and her school environment. The problems in this study were: (1) external conflict in the main character, (2) internal conflict in the main character, (3) implementation of learning Indonesian language and literature in school learning about external and internal conflicts. The purpose of this study was to examine external conflicts and internal conflicts of the main characters. This study used the study of literary psychology, a method of description with qualitative research. Data from this study were sentences that indicate the external and internal conflicts of the main characters. The technique used in this study was documentary study, and the data collection tool was the researcher himself as a key instrument. Based on the results of data analysis there were 4 external conflict data and 10 internal conflict data in a novel entitled Puber written by Rio Rinaldo. AbstractThe study of feminism of the main character in the novel Khutbah di Lembah Bawah by S. Jai and the plan for implementing learning in this school was raised because it discussed literary works with an awareness of gender differences related to culture, literature, and real adventures. This research used descriptive method, in a form fquallitative. The approach of that was used in this research is Kritik Sastra Feminism. The data of this research was novel Khutbah di Bawah Lembah by S.Jai and the data that were collected is the data of the feminism of the main character. The result of the position and role of the main character in the family and society are: 1) the position of the main character in the family (a) as a wife, (b) as a mother. 2) the position of the main character in the society (a) as a cigarette labourer in factory. The role of the main character in the family is as a house wife whereas the role of her in the society is as a cigarette labourer in factory in which she was spent her time in the factory. The result of the unjustified gender in main character (1) Gender and Marginalisation, (2) Gender and stereotype, (3) Gender and work load, (4) gender and violance. The result of main character' sstruggle (1) Provides understanding, (2)Expressing an opinion. Based on the data analysis, this research resulted a conclusion which are (1) the position and role of the main character in the family and society, (2) the form of gender in justification of the main character, (3) the struggle of the main character. by the interest of the researcher to find out the psychology of the main character. The thing emphasized in this study was devoted to the emotions of the main character. Emotion is an overflow of feelings someone is shown with behavior. In this research, the researcher examined the relationship between stimulus and response of an emotion based on her behavior.The problem of this research was about the psychology of the main character, especially the emotions of the character. This problem was divided into two sub-problems, namely (1) What are the positive emotions of the main character in the novel “Origami Hati” by Boy Candra? (2) What are the negative emotions of the main character in the novel “Origami Hati” by Boy Candra? (3) How do you plan to implement the results of this research in the study of literature in high school twelfth grade ood?
