Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to analyze the influence of Implementating Teams Games Tournament Model of Student Learning Responsibilities in Learning Mathematics Class IV Public Elementary School Number 16 Pontianak Timur. Experimental method is in the form of quasy experimental research with nonequivalent control group design. Population is this research consists of 68 students. Sampling technique used is simple random sampling obtained from class IVA samples as the experimental class dan class IVB as the control class. Data collection used is indirect communication technique, with data collection tools in the form of learning responsibilities questionnaire and observation page of learning responsibilities. Based of research analysis and learning responsibilities questionnaire, it is obtained that  which means Ha is accepted. Based on the calculation of Effect Size, observation pages responsibilities questionnaire has obtained 2,35 which is categorized as high criteria. It can be concluded that there is an influence Implementating Teams Games Tournament Model on Student Learning Responsibilities in Learning Mathematics Class IV Public Elementary School Number 16 Pontianak Timur. Keywords: Influence, Learning Responsibilities, Teams Games Tournament

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this research  was to analyze the influence of the Jigsaw learning model on the learning outcomes of Civic Education of fifth grade students of West Pontianak 13th Elementary School. The methode of this reseach was an experiment, a form of Quasi Experimental type of non equivalent group design. The research population was all fifth grade students of West Pontianak Elementary School 13 with the number of students were 72 students. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. The technique used is direct observation and measurement. Data collection tools in the form of observation sheets and multiple choice tests. The results of data analysis are, the average score of the control class post-test is 62,095 and the experiment is 68,786. Based on the results of the t-test calculation obtained by tcount 3,036 > ttabel 1,980, then Ha is accepted. This shows that there is an influence on student learning outcomes by applying the Role Playing method. Calculation of effect size is 0,72 with high criteria. The conclusion of this research that there is the influence of the Role Playing learning method on the learning outcomes of Civic Education in fifth grade students of West Pontianak 13 Elementary School in the high category.Keywords: Learning model for Jigsaw, Learning Outcomes, Civic Education

Abstract

AbstractThe problem in this research was how the influence of contextual approach affect the thematic learning outcomes of the grade V Elementary School 36 South Pontianak. This study aims to determine the effect of contextual approaches to student learning outcomes in grade V 36 Elementary Schools in South Pontianak. The method used is experimental, while the form of research used is quasi experimental design with nonequivalent control group design. The population which is at the same time a sample in this study are all fifth grade students of the grade V Elementary School 36 South Pontianak, which consists of two classes, namely VA and VB, with a total of 51 people. Data collection tools used in the form of Multiple Choice tests totaling 50 questions. Based on statistical calculations, the average results of the experimental class post-test was 76.80 while the average post-test results of the control class were 71.00. t-test results obtained = 2,293 and  α = 5% (with dk = 25 + 26 - 2 = 49) of 1,648, which means  (2,293)>  (1,648), then the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. It can be concluded that there is an effect of contextual approach to the thematic learning outcomes of class V 36 Primary Schools in South Pontianak. The result of the calculation of the effect size (ES) was obtained 0.56 which was classified as medium criteria so that the contextual approach had a good influence on the learning outcomes of fifth grade students at 36 Pontianak Elementary School in South Pontianak.                                                Keywords : Contextual Approach, Learning Outcomes, Thematic Learning

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the effect of the use of jigsaw cooperative medel type on thematic learning on cognitive learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SD Mujahidin, South Pontianak. The model used in this study is a quasi-experimental experimental research design, with the experimental design of nonequivalent control group design. The population of this study was all grade IV students of the South Pontakan Mujahidin Elementary School. The sample in this study there are 2 classes namely class IVb and class IVe, the technique used to take samples is purposive sampling technique. To determine the experimental class and control class seen from the per-test value by drawing the IVB class as many as 30 students as the control class and IVE as many as 28 students as the experimental class. Data collection techniques using measurement techniques. The instrument used was a test sheet in the form of multiple choice learning questions totaling 45 questions. Based on calculations obtained an average post-test learning outcomes of the control class 63.32 and the average post-test learning outcomes of the experimental class 71.24 so that the 2.4984 post-test data were obtained with a table for the level of significance (α = 5 % and dk = 30 + 28-2 = 56) from 2.0042, because tcount> ttable then Ha is accepted, this proves that there is an influence of the jigsaw type cooperative model on thematic learning towards the learning outcomes of grade IV students at SD Mujahidin, South Pontianak. From the results of the calculation of the effect size obtained by 0.52 including medium criteria, so it can be concluded that the cooperative type of jigsaw in thematic learning has a moderate effect on the learning outcomes of grade IV  elementary school students in South Pontianak Mujahidin.                                             Keywords :  Jigsaw type cooperative models, Learning outcomes, and Thematic learning

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study was to improve students' speaking skills using the sociodrama method in class VI SDN 54 West Pontianak. The method used is descriptive. The form of research used is classroom action research (CAR). This research is collaborative in nature. The research activities were carried out in class VI of 54 Pontianak Barat Elementary School with 36 subjects in class VI. The results of the study showed that the speaking ability of students on the base line contained 61.11% (22 people) who were incomplete and only 43.75% (14 people) who had completed an average value of 70.53. In the implementation of the first cycle there was an increase in the process of speaking skills of students using the sociodrama method there were 52.77% (19 students) which were complete while 47.22% (17 students) were incomplete with an average value of 72.44. In the implementation of the second cycle the improvement experienced by students in the process of speaking skills using the sociodrama method experienced an increase of 81.11% (31 students) which was complete while those that were incomplete was 13.88% (5 students), while the average value was 82.38 and in cycle III the improvement experienced by students in the process of speaking skills using the sociodrama method was 94.44% (34 students) which was complete while those that were incomplete was 5.55% (2 students) with an average value of 88.19 It can be concluded that by using the Sociodrama method can improve the speaking skills of students in grade VI 54 Pontianak Elementary School. Keywords : Improvement, Speaking Skills, Indonesian Language Learning, Sociodrama Method.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed to analyze the effect of the application of the outdoor learning model on poetry writing skills of class III Pontianak City 66 State Elementary School. The method used was the experimental method, while the form of research used was quasi experimental design with nonequivalent control group design. The study sample consisted of class III A as the experimental group and class III B as the control group selected by random sampling technique.  The results of the t test are obtained by tcount 2.8255 and t table α = 5% (with dk = 32 + 29 - 2 = 59) of 2.0011, which means tcount (2.8255)> t table (2.0011), then the hypothesis alternative (Ha) is accepted. It can be concluded that there was an influence of the application of the outdoor learning model to poetry writing skills of class III students of Pontianak City 66 State Elementary School. From the results of the calculation of the effect size (ES) obtained by ES is 0.76 (medium criteria). This means that the application of the outdoor learning model has a good influence on poetry writing skills of class III students of Pontianak City 66 State Elementary School. Keywords:  Outdoor learning, Poetry, Writing Skills
