Abstract

AbstractThis study was to analyze the effect of the contextual teaching and learning approach on the ability to write poetry for V class students of the 12 Pontianak City Elementary School. The method used is an experimental method, the form of research used is quasi experimental design with nonequivalent control group design. the population and sample of this study were all students of class V. Data collection tools in the form of essay test. The results of data analysis, the average post-test experiment 74,42 while the average pos-test control 70,13. T-test results are 1,682 and ttable α = 5% (with dk = 26 + 24 - 2 = 48) of 1,679, so tcount (1,682)> ttable (1,679) then the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. It can be concluded that there is an effect of the contextual teaching and learning approach to the ability to write poetry for V class students of the 12 Elementary School in Pontianak Kota. The result of the calculation of the effect size is 0,38 ( medium criteria). Abstract

AbstractThis research aimns to analyse the influence of contextual approaches towards the narrative writing skills in the thematic learning of class V elementary school 35 south Pontianak. The research method used is the experimental method quasi research from experimental design.Experimental design that will be used in this study is a non equivalent control group design used two classes as the subject of research.The population in this study is all student of grade V elementary school 35 south Pontianak wich amounted to 96 students.The samples used in the study were VA graders the numbered 31 students as control and VC classes amounting to 35 students as experiment classes wuth random samling techiques.Data collection techniques used are measurement techniques and data collector tools is a written test of essay form.Data analysis results obtained an average pretest results of 66,71 and average posttest  result of  74,59. Based on the result of the test-t calculation obtained tcount 4,073>t table 1,671,then H, received. This indicates that there are differences in the learning outcomes of the class students with experiment classes. Based on the results of the effect size is obtained bt ),75 which belongs to the medium criteria so that the contextual approach gives a moderate influence on narrative writing skills in the thematic learning of class V elementary school students Negeri 35 south Pontianak.Key words : Influence,  Contextual Approach, Narrative Writing Skills Thematic.

Abstract

AbstractThis research to describe student ability to solve math story problems in terms of thelearning independence class V student at SDIT Al-Mumtaz Pontianak. Research methodused is descriptive method. Subjects in this research are students of class V C. Subjectstaking is done by giving a learning independence questionnaire to students of class V Cwhich then from the results of the questionnaire selected 6 subjects purposive based onthe category of learning independence. Sources of data in this study consisted of theresults of a learning independence questionnaire, test results of story questions andresults of interviews. The results of this research indicate that students with high levelof learning independence are able to solve problems well and fulfill all problem solvingindicators. Students with moderate level of learning independence are able to solveproblems quite well and fulfill all problem solving indicators, but they are still notthorough in doing calculations. Students with low levels of learning independence notenough to solve the problems, students do not understand the question so wrong indetermining how to answer questions, students are also not able to carry out the correctcalculation procedure in counting fractions.Keywords: Ability to Solve Math Story Problems, Learning Independece

Abstract

                       AbstractIn this study, an approach was applied that could help students to develop description writing skills. The learning approach used is a contextual approach to help students develop their ideas and thoughts. Based on this statement, the researcher used a learning approach that the teacher had never used before. the learning approach in question is a contextual approach. This study uses a quasi-experimental with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The study sample consisted of class III A as the experimental group and class III B as the control group selected by random sampling technique. The tool for collecting data in the form of essays 1 question is used to collect data on students' writing skills. The effect of the contextual approach on the description writing skills of students in 66 Public Schools in Pontianak City. The results of this study are t-count test (4,1068) and t (table) (α = 5% and dk = 32 + 29 - 2 = 59) 2,0011. Because t count (4.1068)> t table (2.0011), H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. the contextual approach influences the writing essay skills in the 66 elementary schools of Pontianak City. Keywords: Authors Description, Contextual Approach, Writing Skills

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to analyze the development of lesson plans based on PBL model to improve student learning independence in mathematics subjects in grade IV of SDN 27 Pontianak Tenggara. The method used in this research is research and development that was developed with the ADDIE model. Data collection techniques used are direct observation techniques and indirect communication by questionnaire and observation. Based on the calculation of the average percentage of the learning independence questionnaire that obtained the results of the first and second questionnaires there was an increase of 0.54%, from the second and third questionnaires there was an increase of 0.1% while the third and fourth questionnaires increased by 3%. If seen from the student activity sheet from the results of Lesson Plan 1 revision 1 and Lesson Plan 2 revision 1 decreased 1.49%, while Lesson Plan 2 revision 1 and Lesson Plan 1 revision 2 an increase of 3.6%, and Lesson Plan 1 revision 2 and Lesson Plan 2 revision 2 an increase of 1.61%. This proves that the development of lesson plans based on PBL models can improve student learning independence in mathematics subject in grade IV of SDN 27  Pontianak Tenggara. Keywords: Development, Learning Independence, Problem Based Leaning

Abstract

AbstractThis study aimd to analyze the effect of using the experimental-based student teams achievement divisions model on student learning outcomes 5th grade natural science subject of elementary 38 school in northern Pontianak. The method used was the experimental method, the form of research used was quasi experimental design with the design of nonequivalent control group design. The population and sample in this study were all 5th grade students of  Elementary 38 School in Northern Pontianak. The data collection tool was a multiple choice test with 45 questions. Based on data analysis, the average post-test results of the experimental class were 77,50 while the average post-test results of the control class 69,22. The results of the t test obtained tcount of 3,899 and ttable α = 5% (with dk = 20 + 23 - 2 = 41)is 2,020 ,which means  tcount (3,899)> ttable (2,020), then Ha is accepted. It was concluded that there is a  effect of using the experimental-based student teams achievement divisions model on student learning outcomes natural science subject of elementary school. From the results of ES calculations, obtained ES for 0,98 (high criteria). This means using the experimental-based student teams achievement divisions model give a good effect on student learning outcomes in grade V natural science subject of elementary 38 school in northern Pontianak. Keywords: Experimental-Based Student Teams Achievement Divisions, Learning Outcomes, Natural Science

Abstract

AbstractThe problem in this study is "What is the effect of the demonstration method assisted by card media on fraction learning outcomes in class V students of 34 Pontianak City Primary Schools". This study aims to describe the effect of the demonstration method assisted by the media card in the learning of mathematics in fractions of class V 34 Primary School Pontianak City. This study uses an experimental method of Quasi Experimental Design with the Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study were all fifth grade students of 34 Pontianak Elementary School. The sample in this study was class V B students totaling 34 students as the experimental class, and class V C students totaling 33 students as the control class. Data collection techniques used are direct observation techniques, and measurements. Data collection tools used were observation sheets and test essays. Based on the results of data analysis, the experimental class pre-test average was 61.99 and the experimental class post-test was 79.28. The average of the control class pre-test was 60.61 and the control class post-test was 76.48. From the results of the calculation of Effect Size (ES) of 0.31 including the classification is medium. This shows that the method of demonstration assisted by the media card has a moderate effect on learning outcomes in learning mathematics fraction material in class V 34 Primary Schools Pontianak City.Keywords : Card Media, Demonstration Method, Fraction,Influence, Learning Outcomes.

Abstract

Abstract This research aims to analyze the plan of implementation of thematic learning curriculum 2013 which uses the model of student teams-achievement divisions in grade IV Elementary School 27 Southeast Pontianak. This type of research is qualitative descriptive research. The method used in this study is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The subject in this study was Grade IV Teacher A of State Elementary School 27 Southeast Pontianak. The study used primary data sources. The data collection techniques used are documentation techniques and interview techniques, with the data collection tool being the researcher itself while other instruments as support. Data analysis techniques are carried out through four stages, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. Testing the validity of the data used is triangulation. The results showed that the learning implementation plan made by the Teacher is a part that is already aligned and not yet aligned with the standard components of the Process Of Permendikbud Number 22 year 2016 as well as in the core activities, the planning made by the Teacher already uses the model of student teams-achievement divisions, although there are still steps that are not listed in the learning implementation plan. Abstract

 AbstractThe purpose of this study is to describe the effect of applying the example non example model on the thematic learning outcomes of Grade IV students. The method used is an experimental method in the form of Quasi Experimental Design with Non Equivalent Control Group Design experimental design. The population which is at the same time a sample in this study is grade IV students namely IV A and IV B. The data collection technique used is the measurement technique. Data collection tool in the form of a written test in the form of multiple choice. Based on the analysis of the data obtained the average results of the experimental class post-test 78.95 and the average post-test control class 71.50. Hypothesis test results using t-test (Polled Variance) obtained t_count = 2.361 while (dk = 24 + 22 - 2 = 44) with a 5% significance level obtained t_table = 2.020, which means tcount> t table, then  accepted, this proves that there is an effect of the application of the Example Non Example model on Thematic Student learning outcomes. Based on the results of the calculation of Effect Size (ES) obtained ES = 0.73 including medium criteria.Keywords : Influence, Learning Outcomes, Model Example Non Example, Thematic Learning.

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study was to improve students' speaking skills using the sociodrama method in class VI SDN 54 West Pontianak. The method used is descriptive. The form of research used is classroom action research (CAR). This research is collaborative in nature. The research activities were carried out in class VI of 54 Pontianak Barat Elementary School with 36 subjects in class VI. The results of the study showed that the speaking ability of students on the base line contained 61.11% (22 people) who were incomplete and only 43.75% (14 people) who had completed an average value of 70.53. In the implementation of the first cycle there was an increase in the process of speaking skills of students using the sociodrama method there were 52.77% (19 students) which were complete while 47.22% (17 students) were incomplete with an average value of 72.44. In the implementation of the second cycle the improvement experienced by students in the process of speaking skills using the sociodrama method experienced an increase of 81.11% (31 students) which was complete while those that were incomplete was 13.88% (5 students), while the average value was 82.38 and in cycle III the improvement experienced by students in the process of speaking skills using the sociodrama method was 94.44% (34 students) which was complete while those that were incomplete was 5.55% (2 students) with an average value of 88.19 It can be concluded that by using the Sociodrama method can improve the speaking skills of students in grade VI 54 Pontianak Elementary School. Keywords : Improvement, Speaking Skills, Indonesian Language Learning, Sociodrama Method.
